1 П одражайте Богу, будучи Его любимыми детьми.

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children;

2 Ж ивите в любви, как и Христос нас полюбил и отдал Самого Себя за нас, как жертвенное приношение Богу, в приятное благоухание.

and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.

3 С реди вас ни в коем случае не должно быть даже намека на разврат или другую нечистоту, или жадность – это не подобает святому Божьему народу.

But immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints;

4 В вашей речи не должно быть никаких непристойностей, пустой болтовни или грязных шуток, лучше благодарите Бога.

and there must be no filthiness and silly talk, or coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks.

5 З найте, что ни один человек: ни предающийся разврату, ни порочный, ни алчный – а это то же самое, что идолопоклонник, – не получит наследства в Царстве Христа и Бога.

For this you know with certainty, that no immoral or impure person or covetous man, who is an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

6 И пусть никто вас не обманывает, выступая против вышесказанного, потому что непокорность вызывает гнев Божий.

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.

7 Н е имейте ничего общего с такими людьми. Дети света

Therefore do not be partakers with them;

8 К огда-то вы были тьмой, но сейчас, когда вы в Господе, вы стали светом. Живите как дети света.

for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light

9 А плод света – это всякая доброта, праведность и истина.

(for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth),

10 С тарайтесь разузнать, что приятно Господу.

trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.

11 Н е участвуйте в бесплодных делах тьмы, напротив, обличайте эти дела.

Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them;

12 О том, чем такие люди занимаются втайне, даже стыдно говорить.

for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.

13 Н о все тайное при свете становится явным.

But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light.

14 С вет делает все видимым, поэтому и говорится: «Проснись, спящий! Воскресни из мертвых – и Христос осветит тебя».

For this reason it says, “ Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine on you.”

15 И так, смотрите, поступайте осторожно, не как глупые, но как мудрые.

Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise,

16 Д орожите временем, потому что в эти дни много зла.

making the most of your time, because the days are evil.

17 Н е будьте легкомысленны, а лучше старайтесь понять, в чем заключена воля Господа.

So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

18 Н е напивайтесь вином, это ведет к распутству. Но лучше исполняйтесь Духом.

And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit,

19 Н аставляйте друг друга псалмами, гимнами и духовными песнопениями. Пойте и прославляйте Господа в ваших сердцах.

speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord;

20 В сегда и за все благодарите Бога Отца во Имя нашего Господа Иисуса Христа. Христианская семья

always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father;

21 П одчиняйтесь друг другу из страха перед Христом.

and be subject to one another in the fear of Christ. Marriage Like Christ and the Church

22 В ы, жены, подчиняйтесь вашим мужьям, как Господу.

Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.

23 В едь муж – глава своей жене, как и Христос – Глава и Спаситель Церкви – Своего тела.

For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body.

24 И как Церковь подчиняется Христу, так и жены должны во всем подчиняться своим мужьям.

But as the church is subject to Christ, so also the wives ought to be to their husbands in everything.

25 А вы, мужья, любите ваших жен так, как Христос полюбил Свою Церковь. Он Самого Себя отдал за нее,

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her,

26 ч тобы сделать ее святой, очистив ее водным омовением через слово,

so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,

27 ч тобы Ему поставить ее перед Собой как славную Церковь, не имеющую пятна или порока, или чего-то подобного, чтобы она была святой и непорочной.

that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless.

28 Т очно так и мужья должны любить своих жен, любить, как свое собственное тело. Тот, кто любит свою жену, любит самого себя.

So husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself;

29 В едь нет такого человека, кто бы ненавидел свое тело, но каждый питает свое тело и заботится о нем. Так и Христос заботится о Церкви,

for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ also does the church,

30 п отому что мы – члены Его тела.

because we are members of His body.

31 « Поэтому оставит человек отца и мать и соединится со своей женой, и двое станут одной плотью».

For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.

32 В этих словах скрыта великая истина, и я говорю вам, что они относятся к взаимоотношениям Христа и Церкви.

This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church.

33 А что касается вас, пусть каждый муж любит свою жену, как самого себя, и жена пусть почитает своего мужа.

Nevertheless, each individual among you also is to love his own wife even as himself, and the wife must see to it that she respects her husband.
