1 I will give thanks to Yahweh with my whole heart. I will tell of all your marvelous works.

2 I will be glad and rejoice in you. I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.

(9-3) Я буду радіти, і тішитись буду Тобою, і буду виспівувати Ймення Твоє, о Всевишній!

3 W hen my enemies turn back, they stumble and perish in your presence.

(9-4) Як будуть назад відступати мої вороги, то спіткнуться і вигинуть перед обличчям Твоїм!

4 F or you have maintained my just cause. You sit on the throne judging righteously.

(9-5) Бо суд мій і справу мою розсудив Ти, Ти на троні суддевім сидів, Судде праведний!

5 Y ou have rebuked the nations. You have destroyed the wicked. You have blotted out their name forever and ever.

(9-6) Докорив Ти народам, безбожного знищив, ім'я їхнє Ти витер на вічні віки!

6 T he enemy is overtaken by endless ruin. The very memory of the cities which you have overthrown has perished.

(9-7) О вороже мій, руйнування твої закінчились на вічність, ти й міста повалив був, і згинула з ними їхня пам'ять!

7 B ut Yahweh reigns forever. He has prepared his throne for judgment.

(9-8) Та буде Господь пробувати навіки, Він для суду поставив престола Свого,

8 H e will judge the world in righteousness. He will administer judgment to the peoples in uprightness.

(9-9) і вселенну Він буде судити по правді, справедливістю буде судити народи.

9 Y ahweh will also be a high tower for the oppressed; a high tower in times of trouble.

(9-10) і твердинею буде Господь для пригніченого, в час недолі притулком.

10 T hose who know your name will put their trust in you, for you, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek you.

(9-11) і на Тебе надіятись будуть усі, що ім'я Твоє знають, бо не кинув Ти, Господи, тих, хто шукає Тебе!

11 S ing praises to Yahweh, who dwells in Zion, and declare among the people what he has done.

(9-12) Співайте Господеві, що сидить на Сіоні, між народами розповідайте про чини Його,

12 F or he who avenges blood remembers them. He doesn’t forget the cry of the afflicted.

(9-13) бо карає Він вчинки криваві, про них пам'ятає, і не забуває Він зойку убогих!

13 H ave mercy on me, Yahweh. See my affliction by those who hate me, and lift me up from the gates of death;

(9-14) Помилуй мене, Господи, поглянь на страждання моє від моїх ненависників, Ти, що мене підіймаєш із брам смерти,

14 t hat I may show all of your praise. In the gates of the daughter of Zion, I will rejoice in your salvation.

(9-15) щоб я розповідав про всю славу Твою, у брамах Сіонської доні я буду радіти спасінням Твоїм!

15 T he nations have sunk down in the pit that they made. In the net which they hid, their own foot is taken.

(9-16) Народи попадали в яму, яку самі викопали, до пастки, яку заховали, нога їхня схоплена.

16 Y ahweh has made himself known. He has executed judgment. The wicked is snared by the work of his own hands. Meditation. Selah.

(9-17) Господь знаний, Він суд учинив, спіткнувсь нечестивий у вчинку своєї руки! Гра на струнах. Села.

17 T he wicked shall be turned back to Sheol, even all the nations that forget God.

(9-18) Попрямують безбожні в шеол, всі народи, що Бога забули,

18 F or the needy shall not always be forgotten, nor the hope of the poor perish forever.

(9-19) бож не навіки забудеться бідний, надія убогих не згине назавжди!

19 A rise, Yahweh! Don’t let man prevail. Let the nations be judged in your sight.

(9-20) Устань же, о Господи, хай людина не перемагає, нехай перед лицем Твоїм засуджені будуть народи!

20 P ut them in fear, Yahweh. Let the nations know that they are only men. Selah.

(9-21) Накинь, Господи, пострах на них, нехай знають народи, що вони тільки люди! Села.
