1 A fterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looks toward the east.

І попровадив мене до брами, до брами, що звернена в напрямі сходу.

2 B ehold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shined with his glory.

І ось слава Ізраїлевого Бога йшла в напрямі від сходу, а голос Його був, як шум великої води, а земля засвітилася від слави Його!

3 I t was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city; and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell on my face.

І вид був такий же, як я бачив: як те видиво, що я бачив, коли я приходив руйнувати місто, і види були, як той вид, що я бачив при річці Кевар. І впав я на обличчя своє!

4 Y ahweh’s glory came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.

І слава Господня ввійшла в храм у напрямі брами, що перед її в напрямі сходу!

5 T he Spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and behold, Yahweh’s glory filled the house.

І підняв мене Дух, і впровадив мене до внутрішнього подвір'я, і ось слава Господня наповнила храм!

6 I heard one speaking to me out of the house; and a man stood by me.

І почув я Промовляючого до мене з храму, а той муж стояв при мені.

7 H e said to me, Son of man, this is the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell among the children of Israel forever. The house of Israel shall no more defile my holy name, neither they, nor their kings, by their prostitution, and by the dead bodies of their kings in their high places;

І сказав Він мені: Сину людський, це місце престолу Мого, і місце стіп Моїх ніг, де Я буду перебувати навіки посеред Ізраїлевих синів, не занечистить уже Ізраїлів дім святе Ім'я Моє, вони та їхні царі розпустою своєю та трупами їхніх царів при їхньому вмиранні!

8 i n their setting of their threshold by my threshold, and their door post beside my door post, and there was a wall between me and them; and they have defiled my holy name by their abominations which they have committed: therefore I have consumed them in my anger.

Вони ставили свого порога при Моєму порозі, і свої одвірки при одвірках Моїх, так що тільки стіна була між Мною та між ними, і вони занечистили святе Ім'я Моє своїми гидотами, яких наробили, і Я вигубив їх у Своїм гніві...

9 N ow let them put away their prostitution, and the dead bodies of their kings, far from me; and I will dwell among them forever.

Тепер нехай вони віддалять від Мене розпусту свою та трупи своїх царів, і Я буду пробувати між ними навіки.

10 Y ou, son of man, show the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the pattern.

Ти, сину людський, об'яви Ізраїлевому домові про цей храм, і вони посоромляться від своїх провин, і зміряють міру.

11 I f they be ashamed of all that they have done, make known to them the form of the house, and its fashion, and its exits, and its entrances, and all its forms, and all its ordinances, and all its forms, and all its laws; and write it in their sight; that they may keep the whole form of it, and all its ordinances, and do them.

А якщо вони засоромляться від усього, чого наробили, то виясни їм вигляд храму, і план його, і виходи його та його входи, і всі устави його, і всі начерки його, і всі закони його, і напиши це на очах їх, і нехай вони стережуть усякий начерк його, і всі устави його, і нехай вони роблять їх!

12 T his is the law of the house: on the top of the mountain the whole limit around it shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.

Оце закон храму: на вершині гори вся границя його кругом навколо має бути Святеє Святих. Ось це закон храму.

13 T hese are the measurements of the altar by cubits (the cubit is a cubit and a hand width): the bottom shall be a cubit, and the width a cubit, and its border around its edge a span; and this shall be the base of the altar.

А оце міри жертівника ліктями, лікоть це лікоть та долоня. І основа жертівника лікоть, і лікоть завширшки, а його границя до його краю навколо одна п'ядь, і це задня сторона жертівника.

14 F rom the bottom on the ground to the lower ledge shall be two cubits, and the width one cubit; and from the lesser ledge to the greater ledge shall be four cubits, and the width a cubit.

А від основи на землі аж до долішнього обкладу жертівника два лікті, а завширшки один лікоть, а від малого відступу жертівника аж до великого чотири лікті, а завширшки лікоть.

15 T he upper altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar hearth and upward there shall be four horns.

А жертівник чотири лікті високий, а від жертівника й вище чотири роги.

16 T he altar hearth shall be twelve cubits long by twelve wide, square in its four sides.

А огнище дванадцять ліктів завдовжки на дванадцять завширшки, чотирикутнє при чотирьох своїх боках.

17 T he ledge shall be fourteen cubits long by fourteen wide in its four sides; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and its bottom shall be a cubit around; and its steps shall look toward the east.

А долішній обклад чотирнадцять ліктів завдовжки на чотирнадцять завширшки при чотирьох боках її, а границя навколо нього півліктя, а основа його лікоть навколо, а сходи його звернені на схід.

18 H e said to me, Son of man, thus says the Lord Yahweh: These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings on it, and to sprinkle blood on it.

І сказав Він мені: Сину людський, так говорить Господь Бог: Оце устави жертівника на день, коли він буде зроблений, щоб приносити на ньому цілопалення, і кропити на нього кров.

19 Y ou shall give to the priests the Levites who are of the offspring of Zadok, who are near to me, to minister to me, says the Lord Yahweh, a young bull for a sin offering.

І даси священикам-Левитам, що вони з Садокового насіння, що наближуються до Мене, говорить Господь Бог, щоб служили Мені, молодого бика з великої худоби на жертву за гріх.

20 Y ou shall take of its blood, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the ledge, and on the border all around: thus you shall cleanse it and make atonement for it.

І візьмеш з його крови, і покропи на чотири його роги й до чотирьох кутів оправи та до границі навколо, і очисти його та освяти його.

21 Y ou shall also take the bull of the sin offering, and it shall be burnt in the appointed place of the house, outside of the sanctuary.

І візьмеш бика тієї жертви за гріх, і спалять його на означеному місці храму назовні святині.

22 O n the second day you shall offer a male goat without defect for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they cleansed it with the bull.

А другого дня принесеш у жертву козла безвадного на жертву за гріх, і очистять жертівника, як очистили биком.

23 W hen you have finished cleansing it, you shall offer a young bull without defect, and a ram out of the flock without defect.

А коли покінчиш очищати, принесеш у жертву молодого бика з великої худоби, безвадного, і безвадного барана з отари.

24 Y ou shall bring them near to Yahweh, and the priests shall cast salt on them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering to Yahweh.

І приведи їх перед Господнє лице, і кинуть священики на них сіль, і принесуть їх цілопаленням для Господа.

25 S even days you shall prepare every day a goat for a sin offering: they shall also prepare a young bull, and a ram out of the flock, without defect.

Сім день будеш приготовляти козла жертви за гріх на кожен день, і молодого бика з великої худоби, і барана з отари, безвадних приготовлять.

26 S even days shall they make atonement for the altar and purify it; so shall they consecrate it.

Сім день будуть очищати того жертівника, і очистять його, і освятять його.

27 W hen they have accomplished the days, it shall be that on the eighth day, and forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings on the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, says the Lord Yahweh.

І скінчаться ті дні, і станеться, восьмого дня й далі приготовлять священики на жертівнику ваші цілопалення та ваші жертви мирні, і вподобаю Собі вас, говорить Господь Бог!
