1 A nd Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

El Señor habló con Moisés, y le dijo:

2 O n the day of the first month, on the first of the month, shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of meeting.

«El primer día del mes primero harás que se levante el tabernáculo de reunión,

3 A nd thou shalt put in it the ark of the testimony, and shalt cover the ark with the veil.

y en él pondrás el arca del testimonio, y la cubrirás con el velo.

4 A nd thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it. And thou shalt bring in the candlestick and light its lamps.

Meterás la mesa, y la pondrás en orden; meterás también el candelero, y encenderás sus lámparas;

5 A nd thou shalt set the golden altar for the incense before the ark of the testimony; and hang up the curtain of the entrance to the tabernacle.

pondrás el altar de oro para el incienso delante del arca del testimonio, y pondrás la cortina frente a la entrada del tabernáculo.

6 A nd thou shalt set the altar of burnt-offering before the entrance of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting.

Después pondrás el altar del holocausto frente a la entrada del tabernáculo de reunión.

7 A nd thou shalt set the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and shalt put water in it.

Luego pondrás la fuente entre el tabernáculo de reunión y el altar, y en ella pondrás agua.

8 A nd thou shalt fix the court round about, and hang up the curtain at the gate of the court.

Finalmente, pondrás el atrio alrededor, y la cortina a la entrada del atrio.

9 A nd thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is in it, and shalt hallow it, and all its utensils; and it shall be holy.

Tomarás entonces el aceite de la unción, y ungirás el tabernáculo y todo lo que está en él; y lo santificarás con todos sus utensilios, y será santo.

10 A nd thou shalt anoint the altar of burnt-offering, and all its utensils; and thou shalt hallow the altar, and the altar shall be most holy.

Ungirás también el altar del holocausto y todos sus utensilios, y santificarás el altar, y será un altar santísimo.

11 A nd thou shalt anoint the laver and its stand, and hallow it.

De igual manera, ungirás la fuente y su base, y la santificarás.

12 A nd thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons near, at the entrance of the tent of meeting, and bathe them with water.

Luego llevarás a Aarón y a sus hijos a la entrada del tabernáculo de reunión, y los lavarás con agua;

13 A nd thou shalt clothe Aaron with the holy garments, and anoint him, and hallow him, that he may serve me as priest.

harás que Aarón se ponga las vestiduras sagradas, y lo ungirás y consagrarás, para que sea mi sacerdote.

14 A nd thou shalt bring his sons near, and clothe them with vests.

Después harás que se acerquen sus hijos, y les vestirás las túnicas

15 A nd thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may serve me as priests. And their anointing shall be to them an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

y los ungirás, como ungiste a su padre. Así serán mis sacerdotes, y su unción les servirá por sacerdocio perpetuo, por todas las generaciones.»

16 A nd Moses did so: as Jehovah had commanded him, so did he.

Moisés hizo todo conforme a lo que el Señor le había mandado hacer.

17 A nd it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first of the month, that the tabernacle was set up.

Así, el tabernáculo fue erigido en el día primero del primer mes del segundo año.

18 A nd Moses set up the tabernacle, and put in its bases, and fixed its boards, and put in its bars, and set up its pillars.

Moisés ordenó levantar el tabernáculo, asentó sus bases, colocó sus tablas, puso sus travesaños, e hizo que se levantaran sus columnas.

19 A nd he spread the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above over it; as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

Levantó la tienda sobre el tabernáculo, y encima del mismo puso la sobrecubierta, tal y como el Señor se lo había ordenado.

20 A nd he took and put the testimony into the ark, and put the staves in the ark, and put the mercy-seat above on the ark.

Luego Moisés tomó el testimonio y lo puso dentro del arca, y colocó las varas en el arca, y sobre el arca puso el propiciatorio.

21 A nd he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and hung up the veil of separation, and covered the ark of the testimony; as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

Metió el arca en el tabernáculo, extendió el velo, y ocultó el arca del testimonio, tal y como el Señor se lo había ordenado.

22 A nd he put the table in the tent of meeting, on the side of the tabernacle northward, outside the veil,

En el lado norte de la cortina, fuera del velo, Moisés puso la mesa en el tabernáculo de reunión,

23 a nd arranged the bread in order upon it before Jehovah; as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

y sobre ella puso por orden los panes delante del Señor, tal y como el Señor se lo había ordenado.

24 A nd he put the candlestick in the tent of meeting, opposite to the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.

En el lado sur de la cortina, en el tabernáculo de reunión, frente a la mesa, Moisés puso el candelero,

25 A nd he lighted the lamps before Jehovah; as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

y encendió las lámparas delante del Señor, tal y como el Señor se lo había ordenado.

26 A nd he put the golden altar in the tent of meeting before the veil.

Moisés puso también el altar de oro en el tabernáculo de reunión, delante del velo,

27 A nd he burnt on it fragrant incense; as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

y sobre él quemó incienso aromático, tal y como el Señor se lo había ordenado.

28 A nd he hung up the curtain of the entrance to the tabernacle.

Moisés puso también la cortina a la entrada del tabernáculo,

29 A nd he put the altar of burnt-offering at the entrance to the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered on it the burnt-offering and the oblation; as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

y colocó el altar del holocausto a la entrada del tabernáculo de reunión, y sacrificó sobre él holocausto y ofrenda, tal y como el Señor se lo había ordenado.

30 A nd he set the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it for washing.

Moisés puso la fuente entre el tabernáculo de reunión y el altar, y en ella puso agua para lavarse.

31 A nd Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet out of it:

Y Moisés y Aarón y sus hijos se lavaban en ella las manos y los pies.

32 w hen they went into the tent of meeting, and when they drew near to the altar, they washed; as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

Cuando entraban en el tabernáculo de reunión, y cuando se acercaban al altar, se lavaban, tal y como el Señor se lo había ordenado a Moisés.

33 A nd he set up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and hung up the curtain of the gate of the court. And so Moses finished the work.

Finalmente, Moisés erigió el atrio alrededor del tabernáculo y del altar, y puso la cortina a la entrada del atrio. Así concluyó Moisés la obra. La nube sobre el tabernáculo

34 A nd the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of Jehovah filled the tabernacle.

Entonces una nube cubrió el tabernáculo de reunión, y la gloria del Señor llenó el tabernáculo.

35 A nd Moses could not enter into the tent of meeting, for the cloud abode on it, and the glory of Jehovah filled the tabernacle.

Moisés no podía entrar en el tabernáculo de reunión porque la nube estaba sobre él y la gloria del Señor lo llenaba.

36 A nd when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel journeyed in all their journeys.

Cuando la nube se elevaba del tabernáculo, los hijos de Israel se movían en todas sus jornadas;

37 A nd if the cloud were not taken up, then they did not journey until the day that it was taken up.

pero si la nube no se elevaba, ellos no se movían hasta que ella lo hiciera.

38 F or the cloud of Jehovah was on the tabernacle by day, and fire was in it by night, before the eyes of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

Y es que la nube del Señor estaba sobre el tabernáculo durante el día, y durante la noche el fuego estaba sobre él, a la vista de todo el pueblo de Israel, en todas sus jornadas.
