1 G od standeth in the assembly of God, he judgeth among the gods.

Dios preside la reunión de los dioses, y en medio de ellos emite su sentencia:

2 H ow long will ye judge unrighteously, and accept the person of the wicked? Selah.

«¿Hasta cuándo ustedes juzgarán con injusticia, y tratarán como inocentes a los impíos?

3 J udge the poor and the fatherless, do justice to the afflicted and the destitute;

¡Defiendan a los pobres y a los huérfanos! ¡Hagan justicia a los afligidos y a los menesterosos!

4 R escue the poor and needy, deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.

¡Liberen a los afligidos y a los necesitados! ¡Pónganlos a salvo del poder de los impíos!

5 T hey know not, neither do they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are moved.

»Pero ustedes no saben ni entienden; ¡andan en completa oscuridad! ¡Por eso la tierra tiembla hasta sus cimientos!

6 I have said, Ye are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High;

»Alguna vez les dije: “Ustedes son dioses. Todos ustedes son hijos del Altísimo.”

7 B ut ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

¡Pero ahora morirán como cualquier hombre! ¡Morirán como cualquiera de los príncipes!»

8 A rise, O God, judge the earth; for thou shalt inherit all the nations.

¡Levántate, oh Dios, y juzga la tierra! ¡Tuyas son todas las naciones!
