Del azul, púrpura y carmesí se hicieron las vestiduras del ministerio para servir en el santuario, y se hicieron también las vestiduras sagradas para Aarón, tal y como el Señor se lo había ordenado a Moisés.

2 A nd he made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined byssus.

Se hizo también el efod de oro con azul, púrpura, carmesí y lino torcido.

3 A nd they beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it wires, to work it artistically into the blue, and into the purple, and into the scarlet, and into the byssus.

Se hicieron láminas de oro, y se cortaron hilos para entretejerlos primorosamente con el azul, la púrpura, el carmesí y el lino.

4 T hey made shoulder-pieces for it, joining it: at its two ends was it joined together.

Se hicieron las hombreras, para que se juntaran y quedaran unidas en sus dos extremos.

5 A nd the girdle of his ephod, which was on it, was of the same, according to its work, of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined byssus; as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

El cinto del efod que iba sobre éste era del mismo material y elaborado de la misma manera: de oro, azul, púrpura, carmesí y lino torcido, tal y como el Señor se lo había ordenado a Moisés.

6 A nd they wrought the onyx stones mounted in enclosures of gold, engraved with the engravings of a seal, according to the names of the sons of Israel.

Se labraron las piedras de ónice y se montaron en engastes de oro, con grabados de sello y con los nombres de los hijos de Israel,

7 A nd he put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, stones of memorial for the children of Israel; as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

y se pusieron sobre las hombreras del efod, como piedras memoriales para los hijos de Israel, tal y como el Señor se lo había ordenado a Moisés.

8 A nd he made the breastplate of artistic work, like the work of the ephod, of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined byssus.

Se hizo también el pectoral, bellamente trabajado, de la misma manera que el efod: de oro, azul, púrpura, carmesí y lino torcido.

9 I t was square; double did they make the breastplate, a span the length thereof, and a span the breadth thereof, doubled.

Era cuadrado, y doble, y medía veintidós centímetros de largo y veintidós centímetros de ancho.

10 A nd they set in it four rows of stones: row, a sardoin, a topaz, and an emerald—the first row;

Se engastaron en él cuatro hileras de piedras preciosas. La primera hilera tenía un sardio, un topacio y un carbunclo;

11 a nd the second row, a carbuncle, a sapphire, and a diamond;

la segunda hilera tenía una esmeralda, un zafiro y un diamante;

12 a nd the third row, an opal, an agate, and an amethyst;

la tercera hilera tenía un jacinto, una ágata y una amatista,

13 a nd the fourth row, a chrysolite, an onyx, and a jasper; mounted in enclosures of gold in their settings.

y la cuarta hilera tenía un berilo, un ónice y un jaspe. Todas las piedras estaban montadas en engastes de oro.

14 A nd the stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, engraved as a seal, every one according to his name, for the twelve tribes.

Eran doce piedras, según el número de los nombres de los hijos de Israel, y cada grabado de sello tenía el nombre de una de las doce tribus.

15 A nd they made on the breastplate chains of laced work of wreathen work, of pure gold.

Se hicieron también sobre el pectoral los cordones de oro puro en forma de trenza.

16 A nd they made two settings of gold, and two gold rings, and put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.

Se hicieron también dos engastes y dos anillos de oro, y se pusieron dos anillos de oro en los dos extremos del pectoral.

17 A nd they put the two wreathen of gold in the two rings on the ends of the breastplate;

Los dos cordones de oro se fijaron en los dos anillos, en los extremos del pectoral.

18 a nd the two ends of the two wreathen they fastened to the two settings, and put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, on the front thereof.

Se fijaron también los otros dos extremos de los dos cordones de oro en los dos engastes que había por delante, sobre las hombreras del efod.

19 A nd they made two rings of gold, and put on the two ends of the breastplate, on the border thereof, which faceth the ephod inwards.

Se hicieron también otros dos anillos de oro, los cuales pusieron en los dos extremos del pectoral, en su orilla, frente a la parte baja del efod.

20 A nd they made two rings of gold, and put them upon the two shoulder-pieces of the ephod underneath, to the front thereof, just by the coupling thereof, above the girdle of the ephod.

Se hicieron además dos anillos de oro, los cuales se pusieron en la parte delantera de las dos hombreras del efod, hacia abajo, cerca de su juntura, sobre el cinto del efod.

21 A nd they bound the breastplate with its rings to the rings of the ephod with lace of blue, that it might be above the girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

Y ataron el pectoral por sus anillos a los anillos del efod con un cordón de azul, para que quedara sobre el cinto del mismo efod y no se apartara del efod el pectoral, tal y como el Señor se lo había ordenado a Moisés.

22 A nd he made the cloak of the ephod of woven work, all of blue;

Se hizo también el manto del efod, tejido artísticamente, todo de azul,

23 a nd the opening of the cloak in its middle, as the opening of a coat of mail; a binding was round about the opening, that it should not rend.

con una abertura en el centro, como el cuello de un coselete, con un borde alrededor de la abertura, para que no se rompiera.

24 A nd they made on the skirts of the cloak pomegranates of blue and purple and scarlet, twined.

En las orillas del manto se hicieron granadas de azul, púrpura, carmesí y lino torcido.

25 A nd they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates, in the skirts of the cloak, round about, between the pomegranates:

Se hicieron también campanillas de oro puro, y se pusieron campanillas entre las granadas en las orillas del manto, alrededor, entre las granadas;

26 a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, in the skirts of the cloak round about, for service; as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

una campanilla y una granada, otra campanilla y otra granada, en las orillas alrededor del manto, para ministrar, tal y como el Señor se lo había ordenado a Moisés.

27 A nd they made the vests of byssus of woven work, for Aaron, and for his sons;

De igual manera, para Aarón y para sus hijos se hicieron las túnicas de lino fino, tejidas artísticamente,

28 a nd the turban of byssus; and the ornamental caps, of byssus; and the linen trousers, of twined byssus;

lo mismo que la mitra de lino fino, y los adornos de las tiaras de lino fino, y los calzoncillos de lino torcido.

29 a nd the girdle, of twined byssus, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, of embroidery; as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

También el cinto de lino torcido, de azul, púrpura y carmesí, recamado artísticamente, tal y como el Señor se lo había ordenado a Moisés.

30 A nd they made the thin plate, the holy diadem, of pure gold, and wrote on it with the writing of the engravings of a seal, Holiness to Jehovah!

Se hizo también la placa de oro puro para la diadema santa, y se escribió en ella, a manera de sello: CONSAGRADO AL SEÑOR.

31 A nd they fastened to it a lace of blue, to fasten on the turban above; as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

En ella se puso un cordón de azul para colocarla por arriba de la mitra, tal y como el Señor se lo había ordenado a Moisés. Termina la obra del tabernáculo

32 A nd all the labour of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting was ended; and the children of Israel had done according to all that Jehovah had commanded Moses—so had they done.

Así concluyó la obra del tabernáculo de reunión, y los hijos de Israel hicieron todo tal y como el Señor se lo había ordenado a Moisés.

33 A nd they brought the tabernacle to Moses—the tent, and all its utensils, its clasps, its boards, its bars, and its pillars, and its bases;

Y llevaron el tabernáculo a Moisés, es decir, el tabernáculo y todos sus utensilios: sus corchetes, sus tablas, sus travesaños, sus columnas, sus bases,

34 a nd the covering of rams' skins dyed red, and the covering of badgers' skins, and the veil of separation;

la cubierta de piel de carnero teñida de rojo, la cubierta de piel de delfín, el velo del frente,

35 t he ark of the testimony, and its staves, and the mercy-seat;

el arca del testimonio y sus varas, el propiciatorio,

36 t he table, all its utensils, and the shewbread;

la mesa con todos sus vasos, el pan de la proposición,

37 t he pure candlestick, its lamps, the lamps set in order, and all its utensils, and the oil for the light;

el candelero de oro puro, sus lamparillas, las lamparillas que debían mantenerse en orden y todos sus utensilios, el aceite para las lámparas,

38 a nd the golden altar, and the anointing oil, and the incense of fragrant drugs; and the curtain for the entrance of the tent;

el altar de oro, el aceite de la unción, el incienso aromático, la cortina para la entrada del tabernáculo,

39 t he copper altar, and the copper grating that was for it, its staves and all its utensils; the laver and its stand;

el altar de bronce con su enrejado de bronce, sus varas y todos sus utensilios, la fuente y su base,

40 t he hangings of the court, its pillars, and its bases; and the curtain for the gate of the court, its cords, and its pegs; and all the vessel's of service of the tabernacle, for the tent of meeting;

las cortinas del atrio, sus columnas y sus bases, la cortina para la entrada del atrio, sus cuerdas y sus estacas, todos los utensilios del servicio del tabernáculo de reunión,

41 t he garments of service, for service in the sanctuary; the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his sons' garments, to serve as priests.

las vestiduras del servicio para ministrar en el santuario, las vestiduras sagradas para el sacerdote Aarón, y las vestiduras de sus hijos, para ministrar en el sacerdocio.

42 A ccording to all that Jehovah had commanded Moses, so had the children of Israel done all the labour.

Los hijos de Israel hicieron todo en conformidad con todo lo que el Señor le había ordenado a Moisés.

43 A nd Moses saw all the work, and behold, they had done it as Jehovah had commanded—so had they done; and Moses blessed them.

Y cuando Moisés vio toda la obra, y comprobó que la habían hecho tal y como el Señor lo había ordenado, los bendijo.
