1 A nd Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

El Señor habló con Moisés, y le dijo:

2 S ee, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,

«Mira, yo he llamado por su nombre a Besalel hijo de Uri, hijo de Jur, de la tribu de Judá.

3 a nd have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in every work,

Lo he llenado del espíritu de Dios en sabiduría, inteligencia y ciencia, y en todo arte,

4 t o devise artistic work—to work in gold, and in silver, and in copper,

para crear nuevos diseños y trabajar en oro, plata y bronce,

5 a nd in cutting of stones, for setting, and for carving of timber—to work in all manner of work.

y en el arte de engastar piedras preciosas y de trabajar la madera, y de realizar toda clase de trabajos.

6 A nd I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and in the heart of every one that is wise-hearted have I given wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee—

Como podrás ver, he designado también a Aholiab hijo de Ajisamac, de la tribu de Dan, y a todos los de corazón sabio les he dado la capacidad de hacer todo lo que te he mandado:

7 t he tent of meeting and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy-seat that is thereupon, and all the utensils of the tent,

8 a nd the table and its utensils, and the pure lamp-stand and all its utensils, and the altar of incense;

la mesa y sus utensilios, el candelero de oro puro y todos sus utensilios, el altar del incienso,

9 a nd the altar of burnt-offering and all its utensils, and the laver and its stand;

el altar del holocausto y todos sus utensilios, la fuente y su base,

10 a nd the garments of service, both the holy garments of Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to serve as priests;

11 a nd the anointing oil, and the incense of fragrant drugs for the sanctuary: according to all that I have commanded thee shall they do.

12 A nd Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

Además, el Señor habló con Moisés, y le dijo:

13 A nd thou, speak thou unto the children of Israel, saying, Surely my sabbaths shall ye keep; for this is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, that ye may know that it is I, Jehovah, who do hallow you.

«Tú hablarás con los hijos de Israel, y les dirás: “Ustedes deberán respetar mis días de reposo, porque es una señal entre ustedes y yo por todas las generaciones, para que sepan que yo soy el Señor, que los santifico.

14 K eep the sabbath, therefore; for it is holy unto you; every one that profaneth it shall certainly be put to death: yea, whoever doeth work on it, that soul shall be cut off from among his peoples.

Así que respetarán el día de reposo, porque es para ustedes un día santo. El que lo profane, será condenado a muerte. Sí, cualquiera que haga algún trabajo en ese día, será expulsado de su pueblo.”

15 S ix days shall work be done; but on the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, holy to Jehovah: whoever doeth work on the sabbath day shall certainly be put to death.

Seis días se trabajará, pero el día séptimo es día de reposo consagrado a mí; cualquiera que trabaje en el día de reposo, será condenado a muerte.

16 A nd the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations— an everlasting covenant.

Así que los hijos de Israel respetarán el día de reposo y lo celebrarán por todas las generaciones como un pacto perpetuo.

17 I t shall be a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever; for six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

Será una señal para siempre entre los hijos de Israel y yo, porque yo, el Señor, hice en seis días los cielos y la tierra, y el séptimo día reposé.» El becerro de oro

18 A nd he gave to Moses, when he had ended speaking with him on mount Sinai, the two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

Cuando Dios terminó de hablar con Moisés en el monte Sinaí, le dio las dos tablas del testimonio, tablas de piedra escritas por el dedo mismo de Dios.
