1 O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased: restore us again.

2 T hou hast made the earth to tremble, thou hast rent it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.

Hiciste que temblara, y hendiste la tierra; ¡rellena sus fisuras, porque se desmorona!

3 T hou hast shewn thy people hard things; thou hast made us to drink the wine of bewilderment.

Has hecho que tu pueblo presencie el desastre; nos has hecho beber un vino que aturde.

4 T hou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth, (Selah,)

Has dado a tus fieles la señal de retirada para que se libren de las flechas enemigas.

5 T hat thy beloved ones may be delivered. Save with thy right hand, and answer me.

¡Sálvanos con tu diestra! ¡Respóndenos! ¡Así se salvará tu pueblo amado!

6 G od hath spoken in his holiness: I will exult, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

En su santuario, Dios ha sentenciado: «Con gran alegría fraccionaré Siquén y dividiré en parcelas el valle de Sucot.

7 G ilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine, and Ephraim is the strength of my head; Judah is my law-giver;

Galaad y Manasés me pertenecen, Efraín es un yelmo en mi cabeza, y Judá es un cetro en mi mano.

8 M oab is my wash-pot; upon Edom will I cast my sandal; Philistia, shout aloud because of me.

Moab es la vasija en que me lavo, sobre Edom arrojaré mis sandalias, y sobre Filistea proclamaré mi victoria.»

9 W ho will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me unto Edom?

¿Y quién me dará entrada en Edom? ¿Quién me hará entrar en esa ciudad amurallada?

10 n ot thou, O God, who didst cast us off? and didst not go forth, O God, with our armies?

¿No eres tú, mi Dios, quien nos ha desechado? ¿No eres tú quien ya no sale con nuestros ejércitos?

11 G ive us help from trouble; for vain is man's deliverance.

Bríndanos tu apoyo contra el enemigo, pues vana resulta la ayuda de los hombres.

12 T hrough God we shall do valiantly; and he it is that will tread down our adversaries.

Por ti, Dios nuestro, haremos proezas; ¡tú harás morder el polvo a nuestros enemigos!
