Noah; Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

5 Я фетови синове: Гомер, Магог, Мадай, Яван, Тувал, Мосох и Тирас;

The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

6 а Гомерови синове: Асханаз, Дифат и Тогарма;

—And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Diphath, and Togarmah.

7 а Яванови синове: Елиса, Тарсис, Китим и Родамим.

And the sons of Javan: Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim and Rodanim.

8 Х амови синове: Хус, Мицраим, Фут и Ханаан;

The sons of Ham: Cush and Mizraim, Phut and Canaan.

9 а Хусови синове: Сева, Евила, Савта, Раама и Савтека; а Раамови синове: Шева и Дедан.

—And the sons of Cush: Seba and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raama, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.

10 Х ус роди Нимрод; той пръв стана силен на земята;

And Cush begot Nimrod: he began to be mighty on the earth.

11 а Мицраим роди лудимите, анамимите, леавимите, нафтухимите,

—And Mizraim begot the Ludim, and the Anamim, and the Lehabim, and the Naphtuhim,

12 п атрусимите, каслухимите (от които произлязоха филистимците) и кафторимите;

and the Pathrusim, and the Casluhim out of whom came the Philistines, and the Caphtorim.

13 а Ханаан роди първородния си син Сидон и Хет,

—And Canaan begot Zidon his firstborn, and Heth,

14 и йевусейците, аморейците, гергесейците,

and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,

15 е вейците, арукейците, асенейците.

and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

16 а рвадците, цемарейците и аматейците.

and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.

17 С имови синове: Елам, Асур, Арфаксад, Луд и Арам; а Арамови синове: Уз, Ул, Гетер и Мосох;

The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.

18 а Арфаксад роди Сала, а Сала роди Евер.

—And Arphaxad begot Shelah, and Shelah begot Eber.

19 И на Евер се родиха двама синове: името на единия беше Фалек, защото в неговите дни земята беше разпределена; а името на брат му беше Йоктан.

And to Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg, for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.

20 А Йоктан роди Алмодад, Шалеф, Хацармавет, Ярах,

And Joktan begot Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

21 А дорам, Узал, Дикла,

and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,

22 Г евал, Авимаил, Шева,

and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

23 О фир, Евила и Йовав; всички те бяха Йоктанови синове.

and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were sons of Joktan.

24 С им, Арфаксад, Сала,

Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,

25 Е вер, Фалек, Рагав,

Eber, Peleg, Reu,

26 С ерух, Нахор, Тара,

Serug, Nahor, Terah,

27 А врам, който е и Авраам,

Abram: the same is Abraham.

28 а Авраамови синове: Исаак и Исмаил.

The sons of Abraham: Isaac and Ishmael.

29 Е то техните поколения: първородният на Исмаил - Навайот; после Кидар, Адвеил, Мавсам,

These are their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam;

30 М асма, Дума, Маса, Адад, Тема,

Mishma and Dumah; Massa, Hadad, and Tema;

31 Е тур, Нафис и Кедма; тези бяха Исмаиловите синове.

Jetur, Naphish, and Kedmah: those are the sons of Ishmael.

32 А ето синовете на Авраамовата наложница Хетура: тя роди Земран, Йоксан, Мадан, Мадиам, Есвок и Шуах; а Йоксанови синове: Шева и Дедан;

—And the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bore Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan.

33 а Мадиамови синове: Гефа, Ефер, Енох, Авида и Елдага; всички тези бяха потомци на Хетура.

And the sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Enoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were sons of Keturah.

34 И Авраам роди Исаак; а Исааковите синове бяха Исав и Израел.

And Abraham begot Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau and Israel.

35 И савови синове: Елифаз, Рагуил, Еус, Еглом и Корей;

The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.

36 а Елифазови синове: Теман, Омар, Сефи, Готом, Кенез, Тамна и Амалик;

—The sons of Eliphaz: Teman and Omar, Zephi and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.

37 Р агуилови синове: Нахат, Зара, Сама и Миза.

The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.

38 А Сиирови синове: Лотан, Совал, Севегон, Ана, Дисон, Асар и Дисан;

And the sons of Seir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.

39 а Лотанови синове: Хори и Омам; а сестра на Лотан беше Тамна;

—And the sons of Lotan: Hori and Homam. And Lotan's sister, Timna.

40 С овалови синове: Алиан, Манахат, Гевал, Сефи и Онам; а Севегонови синове: Айа и Ана;

—The sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi and Onam.—And the sons of Zibeon: Ajah and Anah.

41 А нов син - Дисон; а Дисонови синове: Амадан, Асван, Итрам и Харан;

—The sons of Anah: Dishon.—And the sons of Dishon: Hamran, and Eshban, and Jithran, and Cheran.

42 А сарови синове: Валаан, Заван и Акан; Дисанови синове: Уз и Аран.

—The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, Jaakan.—The sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.

43 А ето царете, които царуваха в едомската земя, преди да се възцари цар над израелтяните: Вела, Веоровият син; и името на града му беше Денава.

And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before there reigned a king over the children of Israel:—Bela the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

44 А като умря Вела, вместо него се възцари Йовав, Заровият син, от Восора.

And Bela died; and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

45 А като умря Йовав, вместо него се възцари Хусам, от земята на теманците.

And Jobab died; and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.

46 А като умря Хусам, вместо него се възцари Адад, Вададовият син, който порази мадиамците на моавското поле; и името на града му беше Авит.

And Husham died; and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the fields of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.

47 А като умря Адад, вместо него се възцари Самла, от Масрека.

And Hadad died; and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

48 А като умря Самла, вместо него се възцари Саул, от Роовот при Ефрат.

And Samlah died; and Saul of Rehoboth on the river reigned in his stead.

49 А като умря Саул, вместо него се възцари Вааланан, Аховоровият син.

And Saul died; and Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.

50 А като умря Вааланан, вместо него се възцари Адад; и името на града му беше Пау, а името на жена му - Метавеил, дъщеря на Метред, Мезаавова внучка.

And Baal-hanan died; and Hadad reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetabel the daughter of Matred, daughter of Mezahab.

51 А като умря Адад, едомските първенци бяха: първенец Тамна, първенец Алия, първенец Етет,

And Hadad died. And the chiefs of Edom were: chief Timna, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth,

52 п ървенец Оливема, първенец Ила, първенец Финон,

chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,

53 п ървенец Кенез, първенец Теман, първенец Мивсар,

chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,

54 п ървенец Магедиил и първенец Ирам. Тези бяха едомските първенци.

chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom.
