1 П ървенците на народа се заселиха в Йерусалим; а останалите от народа хвърлиха жребий, за да доведат един от десет души да се засели в Йерусалим, в святия град, а деветте части от населението - в другите градове.

And the princes of the people dwelt in Jerusalem; and the rest of the people cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem, the holy city, and nine parts in the cities.

2 И народът благослови всички онези хора, които доброволно предложиха себе си да се заселят в Йерусалим.

And the people blessed all the men that willingly offered themselves to dwell in Jerusalem.

3 А ето главните мъже от областта, които се заселиха в Йерусалим (а в Юдейските градове се заселиха, всеки в притежанието си в градовете им, Израел, свещениците, левитите, нетинимите и потомците на Соломоновите слуги);

And these are the chiefs of the province that dwelt in Jerusalem; but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their cities, Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinim, and the children of Solomon's servants.

4 в Йерусалим се заселиха някои от Юдовите синове и от Вениаминовите синове. От Юдовите синове: Атайя, син на Озия, син на Амария, син на Сафатия, син на Маалалеил, от Фаресовите потомци;

And in Jerusalem dwelt some of the children of Judah and of the children of Benjamin. Of the children of Judah: Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalaleel, of the children of Pherez;

5 и Маасия, син на Варух, син на Холозея, син на Азайя, син на Адайя, син на Йоярив, син на Захария, син на Силония.

and Maaseiah the son of Baruch, the son of Col-hozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, the son of Shiloni.

6 В сички Фаресови потомци, които се заселиха в Йерусалим, бяха четиристотин шестдесет и осем храбри мъже.

All the children of Pherez that dwelt in Jerusalem were four hundred and sixty-eight valiant men.

7 А Вениаминовите синове бяха следните: Салу, син на Месулам, син на Йоад, син на Федайя, син на Колайя, син на Маасия, син на Итиил, син на Исая;

And these are the children of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Isaiah;

8 и с тях Гавай и Салай; деветстотин двадесет и осем души.

and after him, Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred and twenty-eight:

9 Й оил, Зехриевият син, беше надзирател над тях, а Юда, Сенуиният син, беше втори над града.

and Joel the son of Zicri was their overseer, and Judah the son of Senuah was second over the city.

10 О т свещениците: Едайя, Йояривовият син, Яхин,

Of the priests: Jedaiah Joiarib, Jachin,

11 С ерайя, син на Хелкия, син на Месулам, син на Садок, син на Мерайот, син на управителя на Божия дом Ахитов;

Seraiah the son of Hilkijah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of the house of God.

12 и братята им, които вършеха работата на дома; осемстотин двадесет и двама души; и Адайя, син на Ероам, син на Фелалия, син на Амсия, син на Захария, син на Пасхор, син на Мелхия;

And their brethren that did the work of the house, eight hundred and twenty-two; and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah;

13 и братята му, началници на бащини домове; двеста четиридесет и двама души; и Амасай, син на Азареил, син на Аазая, син на Месилемот, син на Емир;

and his brethren, chief fathers, two hundred and forty-two; and Amassai the son of Azareel, the son of Ahzai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer;

14 и братята им, силни и храбри мъже, сто двадесет и осем души; а Завдиил, син на Гедолим, беше надзирател над тях.

and their brethren, mighty men of valour, a hundred and twenty-eight: and their overseer was Zabdiel the son of Gedolim.

15 А от левитите: Семая, син на Асув, син на Азрикам, син на Асавия, син на Вуний;

And of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni;

16 и Саветай и Йозавад, от левитските началници, бяха над външните работи на Божия дом.

and Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the chiefs of the Levites, over the outward work of the house of God;

17 И Матания, син на Михей, син на Завдий, син на Асаф, който ръководеше славословието при молитвата, и Ваквукия, който беше вторият между братята си; и Авда, син на Самуя, син на Галал, син на Едутун.

and Mattaniah the son of Mica, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, the principal to begin the thanksgiving in prayer; and Bakbukiah, the second among his brethren; and Abda the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun:

18 В сички левити в святия град бяха двеста осемдесет и четири души.

all the Levites in the holy city were two hundred and eighty-four.

19 А вратарите: Акув, Талмон и братята им, които пазеха портите, бяха сто седемдесет и двама души.

And the doorkeepers, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren, that kept watch at the gates, were a hundred and seventy-two.

20 А останалите от Израел, свещениците и левитите, бяха по всичките Юдейски градове, всеки в наследството си.

And the residue of Israel, the priests, the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, every one in his inheritance.

21 Н етинимите се заселиха в Офил; а Сиха и Гесфа бяха над нетинимите.

And the Nethinim dwelt in Ophel; and Ziha and Gispa were over the Nethinim.

22 А надзирателят на левитите в Йерусалим беше Озий, син на Вания, син на Асавия, син на Матания, син на Михей, от Асафовите потомци, певците, над работата на Божия дом.

And the overseer of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Mica, of the sons of Asaph, the singers, for the work of the house of God.

23 З ащото имаше царска заповед за тях и определен дял за певците според нуждата на всеки ден.

For it was the king's commandment concerning them, and there was a settled portion for the singers, due for each day.

24 П етайя, син на Месизавеил, от потомците на Юдовия син Зара, беше помощник на царя във всичко, което се отнасяше до народа.

And Pethahiah the son of Meshezabeel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king's hand in all matters concerning the people.

25 А колкото до селата с нивите им, някои от Юдовите синове се заселиха в Кириат-арва и селата му, в Девон и селата му, и в Кавсеил и селата му,

And as to the hamlets in their fields, of the children of Judah dwelt in Kirjath-Arba and its dependent villages, and in Dibon and its dependent villages, and in Jekabzeel and its dependent villages,

26 и в Иисуя, Молада, Вет-фелет,

and in Jeshua, and in Moladah, and in Beth-phelet,

27 А сар-суал, Вирсавее и селата му,

and in Hazar-Shual, and in Beer-sheba and its dependent villages,

28 в Сиклаг, Мекона и селата му,

and in Ziklag, and in Meconah and its dependent villages;

29 в Ен-римон, Сарая, Ярмут,

and in En-Rimmon, and in Zorah, and in Jarmuth,

30 З аноя, Одолам и селата им, в Лахис и полетата му, и в Азика и селата му. Така се заселиха от Вирсавее до Еномовата долина.

Zanoah, Adullam, and their hamlets, in Lachish and its fields, in Azekah and its dependent villages: and they encamped from Beer-sheba unto the valley of Hinnom.

31 А Вениаминовите синове се заселиха от Гава нататък, в Михмас, Гайя, Ветил и селата му,

And the children of Benjamin from Geba in Michmash and Aija and Bethel, and their dependent villages,

32 в Анатот, Ноб, Анания,

in Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,

33 А сора, Рама, Гетаим,

Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,

34 А дид, Севоим, Невалат,

Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,

35 Л од, Оно и в долината на дърводелците.

Lod, and Ono, the valley of craftsmen.

36 А някои отреди от левитите се заселиха в Юда и във Вениамин.

And of the Levites there were divisions of Judah in Benjamin.
