1 Б ратя, моето сърдечно желание и молбата ми към Бога е за спасението на Израел.

Brethren, the delight of my own heart and my supplication which to God for them is for salvation.

2 З ащото свидетелствам за тях, че те имат ревност за Бога, само че не е според съвършеното знание.

For I bear them witness that they have zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.

3 П онеже, като не познават правдата, която е от Бога, и искат да утвърдят своята собствена правда, те не се покориха на Божията правда.

For they, being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.

4 П онеже Христос изпълнява целта на закона, за да се оправдае всеки, който вярва. Спасението е за всички

For Christ is end of law for righteousness to every one that believes.

5 З ащото Моисей пише, че човек, който върши правдата, която е чрез пазенето на закона, ще живее чрез нея.

For Moses lays down in writing the righteousness which is of the law, The man who has practised those things shall live by them.

6 А правдата, която е чрез вяра, говори така: "Да не кажеш в сърцето си: Кой ще се възкачи на небето, т. е. да свали Христос?,

But the righteousness of faith speaks thus: Do not say in thine heart, Who shall ascend to the heavens? that is, to bring Christ down;

7 и ли: Кой ще слезе в бездната, т. е. да въздигне Христос от мъртвите?"

or, Who shall descend into the abyss? that is, to bring up Christ from among dead.

8 Н о какво казва тя? Казва, че "словото е близо до тебе, в устата ти и в сърцето ти", т. е. словото на вярата, което проповядваме.

But what says it? The word is near thee, in thy mouth and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach:

9 З ащото ако изповядаш с устата си,че Исус е Господ, и повярваш със сърцето си, че Бог Го е възкресил от мъртвите, ще се спасиш.

that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from among dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 З ащото със сърце вярва човек и се оправдава, а с уста прави изповед и се спасява.

For with heart is believed to righteousness; and with mouth confession made to salvation.

11 З ащото Писанието казва: "Никой, който вярва в Него, няма да се посрами."

For the scripture says, No one believing on him shall be ashamed.

12 П онеже няма разлика между юдеин и грък, защото същият Господ е Господ на всички, богат към всички, които Го призовават.

For there is no difference of Jew and Greek; for the same Lord of all rich towards all that call upon him.

13 З ащото "всеки, който призове Господнето име, ще се спаси".

For every one whosoever, who shall call on the name of the Lord, shall be saved.

14 К ак обаче ще призоват Този, в Когото не са повярвали? И как ще повярват в Този, за Когото не са чули? А как ще чуят без проповедник?

How then shall they call upon him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe on him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without one who preaches?

15 И как ще проповядват, ако не бъдат пратени? Както е писано: "Колко са прекрасни краката на тези, които благовестват доброто!"

and how shall they preach unless they have been sent? according as it is written, How beautiful the feet of them that announce glad tidings of peace, of them that announce glad tidings of good things!

16 Н о не всички послушаха благовестието; защото Исая казва: "Господи, кой е повярвал в известеното от нас?"

But they have not all obeyed the glad tidings. For Esaias says, Lord, who has believed our report?

17 И така, вярата е от слушане, а слушането - от Христовото слово.

So faith then by a report, but the report by God's word.

18 Н о казвам: Те не са ли чули? Наистина, чули са: "По цялата земя се разнесе гласът им, и думите им - до краищата на вселената."

But I say, Have they not heard? Yea, surely, Their voice has gone out into all the earth, and their words to the extremities of the habitable world.

19 Н о пак казвам: Израел не е ли разбрал? Разбрал е, защото първо Моисей казва: "Аз ще ви раздразня до ревнуване с тези, които не са народ; с народ непросветен ще ви разгневя";

But I say, Has not Israel known? First, Moses says, I will provoke you to jealousy through not a nation: through a nation without understanding I will anger you.

20 а Исая се осмелява да каже: "Намерен бях от онези, които не Ме търсеха; явен станах на тези, които не питаха за Мен";

But Esaias is very bold, and says, I have been found by those not seeking me; I have become manifest to those not inquiring after me.

21 а за Израел казва: "Простирах ръцете Си цял ден към народ непокорен и опак."

But unto Israel he says, All the day long I have stretched out my hands unto a people disobeying and opposing.
