1 Г осподнето слово, което дойде към моресетеца Михей в дните на Юдейските царе Йотам, Ахаз, Езекия, което той чу във видение за Самария и Йерусалим:

The word of Jehovah that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.

2 С лушайте, всички племена, и ти, земьо, и всичко, което има в теб; и нека Господ Йехова бъде свидетел против вас, Господ от святия Си храм.

Hear, ye peoples, all of you; hearken, O earth, and all that is therein: and let the Lord Jehovah be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple!

3 З ащото, ето, Господ излиза от мястото Си и като слезе, ще стъпи на земните височини.

For behold, Jehovah cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.

4 П ланините ще се стопят под Него и долините ще се разпукнат като восък пред огъня и като води, които се изливат по стръмнина.

And the mountains shall be melted under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, as waters poured down a steep place.

5 П оради нечестието на Яков е всичко това и поради греховете на Израелевия дом. Кое е нечестието на Яков? Не е ли Самария? И кои са високите места на Юдея? Не е ли Йерусалим?

For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. Whence is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? And whence are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?

6 З атова ще направя Самария като грамада камъни в нива, място за садене на лозе; ще изсипя камъните ѝ в долината и ще оголя основите ѝ.

Therefore will I make Samaria as a heap of the field, as plantings of a vineyard; and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will lay bare the foundations thereof.

7 В сичките ѝ ваяни идоли ще бъдат изпотрошени, всичките, дадени ѝ в заплата, ще бъдат изгорени в огън. Да! Всичките ѝ идоли ще погубя; защото ги е събрала като заплата за блудство и като заплата за блудство ще се върнат.

And all her graven images shall be beaten to pieces, and all her harlot-gifts shall be burned with fire, and all her idols will I make a desolation; for of the hire of a harlot hath she gathered, and to a harlot's hire shall they return.

8 З атова ще ридая и ще плача, ще ходя съблечен и гол; ще вия като чакалите и ще жалея като щраусите.

For this will I lament, and I will howl; I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the jackals, and mourning like the ostriches.

9 З ащото раната ѝ е неизцелима, тъй като дойде и до Юда, стигна до портата на народа Ми, до Йерусалим.

For her wounds are incurable; for it is come even unto Judah, it reacheth unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.

10 Н е възвестявайте това в Гет; никак не плачете; във Вит-арфа се оваляй в праха.

Tell it not in Gath, weep not at all; at Beth-le-aphrah roll thyself in the dust.

11 Б ягай, жителко на Сафир, срамно разголена; жителката на Саанан не е излязла; риданието на Вит-езил ще оттегли от вас своето покровителство.

Pass away, inhabitress of Shaphir, in nakedness shame. The inhabitress of Zaanan is not come forth for the lamentation of Beth-ezel: he will take from you its shelter.

12 З ащото жителката на Марот чезне в очакване на благоденствие, понеже зло слезе от Господа до йерусалимската порта.

For the inhabitress of Maroth waited anxiously for good; but evil hath come down from Jehovah unto the gate of Jerusalem.

13 В прегни бързия кон в колесницата, ти, жителко на Лахис, която беше първата причина за грях на сионовата дъщеря; защото в тебе бяха намерени Израелевите нечестия.

Bind the chariot to the swift steed, O inhabitress of Lachish: she was the beginning of sin to the daughter of Zion; for in thee were found the transgressions of Israel.

14 З атова ще дадеш прощални подаръци на Моресет-гет; домовете на Ахзив ще излъжат Израелевите царе.

Therefore shalt thou give parting-gifts to Moresheth-Gath: the houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.

15 О ще ще ти доведа един, който ще те владее, о, жителко на Мариса; Израелевата слава ще дойде и до Одолам.

I will yet bring unto thee an heir, O inhabitress of Mareshah; the glory of Israel shall come even unto Adullam.

16 О плешивей и острижи главата си за милите си деца; разшири плешивостта си като лешояд, защото бяха отведени от тебе в плен.

Make thee bald, and poll thee for the children of thy delights; enlarge thy baldness as the eagle, for they are gone into captivity from thee.
