1 З атръбете в Сион и надайте тревога на святия Ми хълм; нека се разтреперят всички жители на страната; защото иде денят Господен, защото е близо.

Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain; let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of Jehovah cometh, for it is at hand;

2 Д ен тъмен и мъглив, ден облачен и мрачен, като зората, която се разпростира върху планините; народ многоброен и силен, подобен на който не е имало отвека, нито след него ще има до годините на много поколения.

a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and gross darkness, as the dawn spread upon the mountains;—a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after them, to the years of generations and generations.

3 О гън изгаря пред тях и пламък опустошава след тях; земята пред тях е като Едемската градина, а зад тях е гола пустиня. Да! Нищо не се е отървало от тях.

A fire devoureth before them, and behind them a flame burneth; the land is as a garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness: yea, and nothing escapeth them.

4 В идът им е като вид на коне; и тичат като конници.

The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so they run.

5 К ато тропот от колесници се разнася, като скачат по върховете на хълмовете, като пръщене на огнен пламък, който поглъща тръстика, като шум на силен народ, опълчен на бой.

Like the noise of chariots, on the tops of the mountains, they leap; like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.

6 П ред тях племената се измъчват, всички лица побледняват.

Before them the peoples are in anguish: all faces turn pale.

7 Т е тичат като юнаци, като военни мъже се качват на стената и маршируват всеки в пътя си, без да развалят редовете си.

They run like mighty men; they climb the wall like men of war; and they march every one on his ways, and break not their ranks.

8 Н е се тласкат един друг; маршируват всеки в своя път; и даже като падат около оръжията, не спират вървежа си.

Neither doth one press upon another; they march every one in his path; and fall amid weapons, but are not wounded.

9 С пускат се върху града, тичат по стената, качват се по къщите, влизат през прозорците като крадци.

They spread themselves over the city; they run upon the wall; they climb up into the houses; they enter in by the windows like a thief.

10 З емята се тресе пред тях, небето трепери, слънцето и луната потъмняват и звездите оттеглят светенето си.

The earth quaketh before them; the heavens tremble; the sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining.

11 И Господ издава гласа Си пред тази Си войска; защото станът Му е много голям; защото е силен Онзи, Който изпълнява словото Си; защото денят Господен е велик и твърде страшен и кой може да го изтърпи? Призив за покаяние

And Jehovah uttereth his voice before his army; for his camp is very great; for strong is he that executeth his word: for the day of Jehovah is great and very terrible; and who can bear it?

12 Н о, казва Господ, даже и сега, обърнете се към Мене с цялото си сърце, с пост, плач и ридание;

Yet even now, saith Jehovah, turn to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning;

13 и разкъсайте сърцето си, а не дрехите си, и се обърнете към Господа, вашия Бог; защото е милостив и щедър, дълготърпелив и многомилостив и се разкайва за злото.

and rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto Jehovah your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great loving-kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

14 К ой знае дали Той няма да се върне и да се разкае, да остави благословение след Себе Си, колкото за хлебен принос и възлияние на Господа, вашия Бог?

Who knoweth? He might return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him, an oblation and a drink-offering for Jehovah your God?

15 З атръбете в Сион, осветете пост, свикайте тържествено събрание;

Blow the trumpet in Zion, hallow a fast, proclaim a solemn assembly;

16 с ъберете народа, осветете събранието, свикайте старейшините, съберете младенците и кърмачетата; нека излезе младоженецът от спалнята си и невястата от стаята си;

gather the people, hallow the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts; let the bridegroom go forth from his chamber, and the bride from her closet.

17 н ека плачат свещениците, служителите Господни, между преддверието на храма и олтар и нека кажат: Пощади, Господи, народа Си и не предавай наследството Си на позор, за да ги владеят народите. Защо да кажат между племената: Къде е техният Бог?

Let the priests, the ministers of Jehovah, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare, O Jehovah, thy people, and give not thine inheritance to reproach, that they should be a byword of the nations. Wherefore should they say among the peoples, Where is their God?

18 Т огава Господ поревнува за земята Си и се смили над народа Си.

Then Jehovah will be jealous for his land, and will have pity on his people.

19 И Господ отговори на народа Си: Ето, Аз ще ви пратя житото, виното и маслото и ще се наситите от тях, и няма вече да ви направя за позор между народите;

And Jehovah will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I send you corn, and new wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith; and I will no more make you a reproach among the nations.

20 а ще отдалеча от вас северната язва и ще я оттласна в безводна и пуста земя, с предната ѝ страна към източното море; а задната ѝ страна - към западното море; и воня ще излезе от нея, и смрад ще се издигне от нея, защото е извършила надути работи.

And I will remove far off from you him from the north, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, his face toward the eastern sea, and his rear toward the hinder sea; and his stench shall come up, and his ill odour shall come up, for he hath exalted himself to do great things.

21 Н е бой се, земьо; радвай се и се весели; защото Господ извърши велики дела.

—Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for Jehovah doeth great things.

22 Н е се плашете, полски животни; защото пасищата на целината поникват, защото дървото ражда плода си, смокинята и лозата дават силата си.

Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring; for the tree beareth its fruit; the fig-tree and the vine yield full increase.

23 И така, радвайте се и вие, сионови деца, и се веселете в Господа, вашия Бог; защото ви дава есенен дъжд със справедлива мярка и ви излива дъжд - есенен и пролетен - в първия месец.

And ye, children of Zion, be glad and rejoice in Jehovah your God; for he giveth you the early rain in due measure, and he causeth to come down for you the rain, the early rain, and the latter rain at the beginning.

24 Х арманите ще се напълнят с жито и линовете ще преливат от вино и масло.

And the floors shall be full of corn, and the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.

25 И ще ви върна годините, които изпояде скакалецът, червеят, бръмбарът и гъсеницата - Моята голяма войска, която пратих между вас.

And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmer-worm, my great army which I sent among you.

26 И ще ядете изобилно и ще се наситите, и ще хвалите името на Господа, вашия Бог, Който е постъпвал чудесно с вас; и народът Ми няма никога да се посрами.

And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of Jehovah your God, who hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

27 И ще познаете, че Аз съм сред Израел и че съм Господ, вашият Бог, и че няма друг; и народът Ми няма никога да се посрами. Обещание за изливане на Духа

And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I, Jehovah, your God, and there is none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

28 И след това ще излея Духа Си на всяка твар; и синовете ви и дъщерите ви ще пророкуват, старците ви ще виждат сънища, юношите ви ще виждат видения;

And it shall come to pass afterwards I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.

29 с ъщо и на слугите и на слугините ще изливам Духа Си в онези дни.

Yea, even upon the bondmen and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my Spirit.

30 И ще покажа чудеса на небето и на земята, кръв, огън и стълбове от дим.

And I will shew wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

31 С лънцето ще се превърне в тъмнина и луната - в кръв, преди да дойде великият и страшен ден Господен.

The sun shall be changed to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and terrible day of Jehovah come.

32 И всеки, който призове името Господне, ще се избави; защото в хълма Сион и в Йерусалим ще има избавени, както каза Господ, и между оцелелите - онези, които Господ ще повика.

And it shall be that whosoever shall call upon the name of Jehovah shall be saved: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as Jehovah hath said, and for the residue whom Jehovah shall call.
