1 С ловото, което дойде към Йеремия за целия Юдейски народ, в четвъртата година на Юдейския цар Йоаким, Йосиевия син, която година беше и първа на вавилонския цар Навуходоносор,

The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, the king of Judah (that is, the first year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon),

2 к оето слово пророк Йеремия изговори на целия Юдейски народ и на всичките йерусалимски жители, като каза:

which Jeremiah the prophet spoke unto all the people of Judah and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying:

3 О т тринадесетата година на Юдейския цар Йосия, Амоновия син, дори до днес, тези двадесет и три години Господнето слово идваше към мен; и аз ви говорих, като ставах рано и говорех; но вие не послушахте.

From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon, the king of Judah, even unto this day, these three and twenty years, the word of Jehovah hath come unto me, and I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye have not hearkened.

4 Г оспод прати до вас всичките Си слуги, пророците, като ставаше рано и ги пращаше (но не послушахте, нито приклонихте ухо да послушате),

And Jehovah hath sent unto you all his servants the prophets, rising early and sending; but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear,

5 и те казаха: Върнете се сега всеки от лошия си път и от злите си дела и населявайте земята, която Господ даде на вас и на бащите ви отвека и довека;

when they said, Turn again now every one from his evil way, and from the wickedness of your doings, and dwell in the land that Jehovah hath given unto you and to your fathers from of old even for ever.

6 и не отивайте след други богове, за да им служите и да им се кланяте, и не Ме разгневявайте с делата на ръцете си; и Аз няма да ви сторя зло.

And go not after other gods, to serve them and to worship them; and provoke me not to anger with the work of your hands; and I will do you no hurt.

7 Н о вие не Ме послушахте, казва Господ, като Ме разгневявахте с делата на ръцете си за собственото си зло.

But ye have not hearkened unto me, saith Jehovah; that ye might provoke me to anger with the work of your hands, to your own hurt.

8 З атова така казва Господ на Силите: Понеже не послушахте думите Ми,

Therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Because ye have not listened to my words,

9 е то, Аз ще изпратя и ще взема всички северни родове, казва Господ, също и слугата Ми Навуходоносор, вавилонския цар, и ще ги доведа против тази земя и против нейните жители, и против всички тези околни народи; ще ги обрека на изтребление и ще ги направя за учудване и за подсвиркване, и ще ги превърна във вечна пустота.

behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, saith Jehovah, and to Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about; and I will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and a hissing, and perpetual wastes.

10 П ри това ще направя да престане между тях гласът на веселието и гласът на радостта, гласът на младоженеца и гласът на невястата, шумът на мелницата и светенето на светилото.

And I will cause to perish from them the voice of mirth and the voice of joy, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones and the light of the lamp.

11 И цялата тази земя ще бъде пуста и за учудване; и тези народи ще робуват на вавилонския цар седемдесет години.

And this whole land shall become a waste, an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.

12 А когато се свършат седемдесетте години, Аз ще накажа вавилонския цар и онзи народ за беззаконието им, казва Господ, също и Халдейската земя, която ще превърна във вечна пустота.

And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, I will visit on the king of Babylon and on that nation, saith Jehovah, their iniquity, and on the land of the Chaldeans, and I will make it perpetual desolations.

13 И ще докарам върху онази земя всичките неща, които съм говорил против нея, всичко, което има писано в тази книга, което Йеремия пророкува против всички народи.

And I will bring upon that land all my words which I have pronounced against it, all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah hath prophesied against all the nations.

14 З ащото много народи и велики царе ще поробят и тях; Аз ще им въздам според делата им и според работата на ръцете им.

For many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of them also; and I will recompense them according to their deeds, and according to the work of their hands.

15 З ащото така ми каза Господ, Израелевият Бог: Вземи от ръката Ми тази чаша с виното на яростта Ми и напой от нея всички народи, до които те пращам.

For thus hath Jehovah the God of Israel said unto me: Take the cup of the wine of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations to whom I send thee to drink it.

16 И като пият, ще политат и обезумяват поради меча, който ще изпратя сред тях.

And they shall drink, and reel to and fro, and be mad, because of the sword that I will send among them.

17 Т огава взех чашата от ръката на Господа и напоих всички народи, при които ме беше изпратил Господ, а именно:

And I took the cup at Jehovah's hand, and made all the nations to drink, to whom Jehovah had sent me:

18 Й ерусалим и Юдейските градове с царете им, и първенците им, за да ги превърна в пустота и за да станат за учудване, подсвиркване и проклятие, както са днес;

Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them a waste, an astonishment, a hissing, and a curse, as it is this day;

19 е гипетския цар фараон, със слугите му, първенците му и целия му народ;

Pharaoh king of Egypt, and his servants, and his princes, and all his people;

20 в сички разноплеменни народи, всички царе на земята Уз и всички царе на Филистимската земя, с Аскалон, Газа, Акарон и останалите от Азот;

and all the mingled people, and all the kings of the land of Uz, and all the kings of the land of the Philistines, and Ashkelon, and Gazah, and Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod;

21 Е дом, Моав и амонците;

Edom, and Moab, and the children of Ammon;

22 и всички тирски царе, всички сидонски царе и царете на островите оттатък морето;

and all the kings of Tyre, and all the kings of Zidon, and the kings of the isles that are beyond the sea;

23 Д едана, Тема, Вуза и всички, които си стрижат издадените части на косата:

Dedan, and Tema, and Buz, and all that have the corners cut off;

24 в сички арабски царе и всички царе на разноплеменните народи, които населяват пустинята;

and all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the mingled people that dwell in the desert;

25 в сички зимрийски царе, всички еламски царе и всички мидски царе;

and all the kings of Zimri, and all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of the Medes;

26 в сички северни царе - близките и далечните, едни с други, и всички царства на света, които са по лицето на земята, а царят на Сесах ще пие след тях.

and all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another; and all the kingdoms of the world, which are upon the face of the earth; and the king of Sheshach shall drink after them.

27 З атова ще им кажеш: Така казва Господ на Силите, Израелевият Бог: Пийте и се опийте, повръщайте, паднете и не ставайте вече, поради меча, който ще изпратя сред вас.

And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Drink, and be drunken, and vomit, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword that I will send among you.

28 И ако откажат да вземат чашата от ръката ти и да пият, тогава ще им кажеш: Така казва Господ на Силите: Непременно ще пиете;

And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup from thy hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Ye shall certainly drink.

29 з ащото, ето, Аз докарвам зло, като започвам от града, който се нарича по Моето име; та вие ли ще останете съвсем ненаказани? Няма да останете ненаказани, защото Аз ще призова меч върху всички земни жители, казва Господ на Силите.

For behold, I begin to bring evil on the city that is called by my name, and should ye be altogether unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished; for I call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith Jehovah of hosts.

30 З атова ти пророкувай против тях всички тези неща, като им кажеш: Господ ще изреве отгоре и ще издаде гласа Си от святото Си обиталище; ще изреве силно против паството Си; ще извика като онези, които тъпчат грозде, против всички жители на света.

And thou, prophesy unto them all these words, and say unto them, Jehovah will roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he will mightily roar upon his dwelling-place, he will give a shout, as they that tread, against all the inhabitants of the earth.

31 Е котът ще стигне и до краищата на света, защото Господ има съд с народите; Той ще се съди с всяка твар, ще предаде нечестивите на меч, казва Господ.

The noise shall come to the end of the earth: for Jehovah hath a controversy with the nations, he entereth into judgment with all flesh; as for the wicked, he will give them up to the sword, saith Jehovah.

32 Т ака казва Господ на Силите: Ето, зло ще излезе от народ към народ и голям ураган ще се повдигне от краищата на земята.

Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great storm shall be raised up from the uttermost parts of the earth.

33 В онзи ден убитите от Господа ще лежат от единия до другия край на земята; няма да бъдат оплакани, нито прибрани, нито погребани; ще бъдат за тор по повърхността на земята.

And the slain of Jehovah shall at that day from end of the earth even unto the end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the face of the ground.

34 Р идайте, пастири, и извикайте, и вие, началници на стадото, валяйте се в пръстта; защото напълно настана времето, за да бъдете заклани и разпръснати, и ще паднете като отбран съд.

Howl, ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves, noble ones of the flock: for the days of your slaughter are accomplished, and I will disperse you; and ye shall fall like a precious vessel.

35 И пастирите няма да имат средство за избягване, нито началниците на стадото - за избавление.

And refuge shall perish from the shepherds, and escape from the noble ones of the flock.

36 Г лас на вопъл от пастирите и виене от началниците на стадото! - Защото Господ опустошава пасбището им.

There shall be a voice of the cry of the shepherds, and a howling of the noble ones of the flock: for Jehovah layeth waste their pasture;

37 И мирните кошари занемяха от пламенния гняв на Господа.

and the peaceable enclosures shall be desolated, because of the fierce anger of Jehovah.

38 Т ой е оставил убежището Си като лъв. Да! Земята им стана за учудване от лютостта на опустошителя и от яростния Му гняв.

He hath forsaken his covert as a young lion; for their land is a desolation because of the fierceness of the oppressor, and because of his fierce anger.
