5 D ar ei nici nu ştiu, nici nu pricep; umblă în întuneric; de aceea se clatină temeliile pământului.

6 E u am zis: „Sunteţi «dumnezei», fii ai Celui Preaînalt, cu toţii.

I said, “You are gods, all of you are sons of the Most High.

7 C u siguranţă, însă, veţi muri ca nişte oameni de rând şi veţi cădea ca orice alt conducător.“

Nevertheless you shall die like men, and fall like one of the rulers.”

8 R idică-Te, Dumnezeule, şi judecă pământul, căci Tu iei în stăpânire toate neamurile!
