1 D oamne, către Tine strig! Stânca mea, nu rămâne surd la strigătul meu, ca nu cumva, tăcând faţă de mine, să mă asemăn cu cei care se coboară în groapă!

To you, Yahweh, I call. My rock, don’t be deaf to me; lest, if you are silent to me, I would become like those who go down into the pit.

2 A scultă glasul rugilor mele, atunci când strig către Tine după ajutor, atunci când îmi ridic mâinile spre Locul Tău Preasfânt!

Hear the voice of my petitions, when I cry to you, when I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place.

3 N u mă condamna împreună cu cei răi, împreună cu răufăcătorii, cu cei ce vorbesc de pace semenului lor, dar în inima lor este numai răutate.

Don’t draw me away with the wicked, with the workers of iniquity who speak peace with their neighbors, but mischief is in their hearts.

4 R ăsplăteşte-le după faptele lor, după răutatea lucrărilor lor; după faptele mâinilor lor să le răsplăteşti! Întoarce asupra lor răsplata cuvenită!

Give them according to their work, and according to the wickedness of their doings. Give them according to the operation of their hands. Bring back on them what they deserve.

5 P entru că ei nu iau aminte la lucrările Domnului şi la faptele mâinilor Lui, El îi va dărâma şi nu îi va mai zidi la loc!

Because they don’t respect the works of Yahweh, nor the operation of his hands, he will break them down and not build them up.

6 B inecuvântat să fie Domnul, căci El a ascultat glasul rugilor mele!

Blessed be Yahweh, because he has heard the voice of my petitions.

7 D omnul este tăria mea şi scutul meu! În El mi se încrede inima, şi sunt ajutat. De aceea inima mea chiuie de bucurie şi-I aduc mulţumiri prin cântecele mele!

Yahweh is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him.

8 D omnul este tăria poporului Său! El este fortăreaţă izbăvitoare pentru unsul Său.

Yahweh is their strength. He is a stronghold of salvation to his anointed.

9 M ântuieşte-Ţi poporul! Binecuvântează-Ţi moştenirea! Păstoreşte-i şi sprijină-i pe vecie!

Save your people, and bless your inheritance. Be their shepherd also, and bear them up forever.
