1 L ăudaţi-L pe Domnul! Lăudaţi-L pe Domnul din ceruri, lăudaţi-L în înălţimi!

Praise Yah! Praise Yahweh from the heavens! Praise him in the heights!

2 L ăudaţi-L, toţi îngerii Lui, lăudaţi-L, toată oştirea Lui!

Praise him, all his angels! Praise him, all his army!

3 L ăudaţi-L, soare şi lună, lăudaţi-L, stele strălucitoare, toate!

Praise him, sun and moon! Praise him, all you shining stars!

4 L ăudaţi-L, ceruri preaînalte, şi voi, ape de deasupra cerurilor!

Praise him, you heavens of heavens, You waters that are above the heavens.

5 S ă laude Numele Domnului, căci El a poruncit şi acestea au fost făcute!

Let them praise Yahweh’s name, For he commanded, and they were created.

6 E l le-a aşezat la locul lor pe vecie printr-o lege pe care nu o va încălca.

He has also established them forever and ever. He has made a decree which will not pass away.

7 L ăudaţi-L pe Domnul, cei de pe pământ, monştri ai apelor şi toate adâncurile,

Praise Yahweh from the earth, you great sea creatures, and all depths!

8 f ulgerul şi grindina, zăpada şi ceaţa, vântul năprasnic ce-I împlineşte porunca,

Lightning and hail, snow and clouds; stormy wind, fulfilling his word;

9 m unţii şi toate dealurile, copacii roditori şi toţi cedrii,

mountains and all hills; fruit trees and all cedars;

10 f iarele şi toate vitele, târâtoarele şi păsările înaripate,

wild animals and all livestock; small creatures and flying birds;

11 r egii pământului şi toate neamurile, prinţii şi toţi demnitarii pământului,

kings of the earth and all peoples; princes and all judges of the earth;

12 t inerii şi tinerele, bătrânii şi copiii deopotrivă!

both young men and maidens; old men and children:

13 S ă laude cu toţii Numele Domnului, pentru că numai Numele Lui este înălţat, iar măreţia Lui este mai presus de pământ şi ceruri!

let them praise Yahweh’s name, for his name alone is exalted. His glory is above the earth and the heavens.

14 E l înalţă puterea poporului Său; aceasta este o pricină de laudă pentru credincioşii Săi, pentru fiii lui Israel, poporul care Îi este aproape. Lăudaţi-L pe Domnul!

He has lifted up the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near to him. Praise Yah!
