1 C ei ce se încred în Domnul sunt ca muntele Sion care nu poate fi clătinat, ci va sta pe vecie.

Those who trust in Yahweh are as Mount Zion, which can’t be moved, but remains forever.

2 C um sunt munţii împrejurul Ierusalimului, aşa este Domnul împrejurul poporului Său de acum şi până-n veci.

As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so Yahweh surrounds his people from this time forward and forever more.

3 T oiagul celui rău nu va stăpâni partea celor drepţi, pentru ca cei drepţi să nu-şi întindă mâinile spre nedreptate.

For the scepter of wickedness won’t remain over the allotment of the righteous; so that the righteous won’t use their hands to do evil.

4 F ă bine, Doamne, celor buni şi celor drepţi în inimile lor!

Do good, Yahweh, to those who are good, to those who are upright in their hearts.

5 C ât despre cei care se întorc la căile lor sucite, Domnul îi va îndepărta ca pe făcătorii de rele. Pacea să fie peste Israel!

But as for those who turn aside to their crooked ways, Yahweh will lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be on Israel.
