1 D isse o Senhor a Moisés e a Arão:

Now the Lord spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

2 O s filhos de Israel acampar-se-ão, cada um junto ao seu estandarte, com as insígnias das casas de seus pais; ao redor, de frente para a tenda da revelação, se acamparão.

“ The sons of Israel shall camp, each by his own standard, with the banners of their fathers’ households; they shall camp around the tent of meeting at a distance.

3 A o lado oriental se acamparão os do estandarte do arraial de Judá, segundo os seus exércitos; e Nasom, filho de Aminadabe, será o príncipe dos filhos de Judá.

Now those who camp on the east side toward the sunrise shall be of the standard of the camp of Judah, by their armies, and the leader of the sons of Judah: Nahshon the son of Amminadab,

4 E o seu exército, os que foram contados deles, era de setenta e quatro mil e seiscentos.

and his army, even their numbered men, 74, 600.

5 J unto a eles se acamparão os da tribo de Issacar; e Netanel, filho de Zuar, será o príncipe dos filhos de Issacar.

Those who camp next to him shall be the tribe of Issachar, and the leader of the sons of Issachar: Nethanel the son of Zuar,

6 E o seu exército, os que foram contados deles, era de cinqüenta e quatro mil e quatrocentos.

and his army, even their numbered men, 54, 400.

7 D epois a tribo de Zebulom; e Eliabe, filho de Helom, será o príncipe dos filhos de Zebulom.

Then comes the tribe of Zebulun, and the leader of the sons of Zebulun: Eliab the son of Helon,

8 E o seu exército, os que foram contados deles, era de cinqüenta e sete mil e quatrocentos.

and his army, even his numbered men, 57, 400.

9 T odos os que foram contados do arraial de Judá eram cento e oitenta e seis mil e quatrocentos, segundo os seus exércitos. Esses marcharão primeiro.

The total of the numbered men of the camp of Judah: 186, 400, by their armies. They shall set out first.

10 O estandarte do arraial de Rúben segundo os seus exércitos, estará para a banda do sul; e Elizur, filho de Sedeur, será o príncipe dos filhos de Rúben.

“On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben by their armies, and the leader of the sons of Reuben: Elizur the son of Shedeur,

11 E o seu exército, os que foram contados deles, era de quarenta e seis mil e quinhentos.

and his army, even their numbered men, 46, 500.

12 J unto a ele se acamparão os da tribo de Simeão; e Selumiel, filho de Zurisadai, será o príncipe dos filhos de Simeão.

Those who camp next to him shall be the tribe of Simeon, and the leader of the sons of Simeon: Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai,

13 E o seu exército, os que foram contados deles, era de cinqüenta e nove mil e trezentos.

and his army, even their numbered men, 59, 300.

14 D epois a tribo de Gade; e Eliasafe, filho de Reuel, será o príncipe dos filhos de Gade.

Then comes the tribe of Gad, and the leader of the sons of Gad: Eliasaph the son of Deuel,

15 E o seu exército, os que foram contados deles, era de quarenta e cinco mil seiscentos e cinqüenta.

and his army, even their numbered men, 45, 650.

16 T odos os que foram contados do arraial de Rúben eram cento e cinqüenta e um mil quatrocentos e cinqüenta, segundo os seus exércitos. Esses marcharão em segundo lugar.

The total of the numbered men of the camp of Reuben: 151, 450 by their armies. And they shall set out second.

17 E ntão partirá a tenda da revelação com o arraial dos levitas no meio dos arraiais; como se acamparem, assim marcharão, cada um no seu lugar, segundo os seus estandartes.

“ Then the tent of meeting shall set out with the camp of the Levites in the midst of the camps; just as they camp, so they shall set out, every man in his place by their standards.

18 P ara a banda do ocidente estará o estandarte do arraial de Efraim, segundo os seus exércitos; e Elisama, filho de Amiúde, será o príncipe dos filhos de Efraim.

“On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim by their armies, and the leader of the sons of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud,

19 E o seu exército, os que foram contados deles, era de quarenta mil e quinhentos.

and his army, even their numbered men, 40, 500.

20 J unto a eles estará a tribo de Manassés; e Gamaliel, filho de Pedazur, será o príncipe dos filhos de Manassés.

Next to him shall be the tribe of Manasseh, and the leader of the sons of Manasseh: Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur,

21 E o seu exército, os que foram contados deles, era de trinta e dois mil e duzentos.

and his army, even their numbered men, 32, 200.

22 D epois a tribo de Benjamim; e Abidã, filho de Gideôni, será o príncipe dos filhos de Benjamim.

Then comes the tribe of Benjamin, and the leader of the sons of Benjamin: Abidan the son of Gideoni,

23 E o seu exército, os que foram contados deles, era de trinta e cinco mil e quatrocentos.

and his army, even their numbered men, 35, 400.

24 T odos os que foram contados o arraial de Efraim eram cento e oito mil e cem, segundo os seus exércitos. Esses marcharão em terceiro lugar.

The total of the numbered men of the camp of Ephraim: 108, 100, by their armies. And they shall set out third.

25 P ara a banda do norte estará o estandarte do arraial de Dã, segundo os seus exércitos; e Aiezer, filho de Amisadai, será o príncipe dos filhos de Dã.

“On the north side shall be the standard of the camp of Dan by their armies, and the leader of the sons of Dan: Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai,

26 E o seu exército, os que foram contados deles, era de sessenta e dois mil e setecentos.

and his army, even their numbered men, 62, 700.

27 J unto a eles se acamparão os da tribo de Aser; e Pagiel, filho de Ocrã, será o príncipe dos filhos de Aser.

Those who camp next to him shall be the tribe of Asher, and the leader of the sons of Asher: Pagiel the son of Ochran,

28 E o seu exército, os que foram contados deles, era de quarenta e um mil e quinhentos.

and his army, even their numbered men, 41, 500.

29 D epois a tribo de Naftali; e Airá, filho de Enã, será o príncipe dos filhos de Naftali.

Then comes the tribe of Naphtali, and the leader of the sons of Naphtali: Ahira the son of Enan,

30 E o seu exército, os que foram contados deles, era de cinqüenta e três mil e quatrocentos.

and his army, even their numbered men, 53, 400.

31 T odos os que foram contados do arraial de Dã eram cento e cinqüenta e sete mil e seiscentos. Esses marcharão em último lugar, segundo os seus estandartes.

The total of the numbered men of the camp of Dan was 157, 600. They shall set out last by their standards.”

32 S ão esses os que foram contados dos filhos de Israel, segundo as casas de seus pais; todos os que foram contados dos arraiais segundo os seus exércitos, eram seiscentos e três mil quinhentos e cinquenta.

These are the numbered men of the sons of Israel by their fathers’ households; the total of the numbered men of the camps by their armies, 603, 550.

33 O s levicampo consagrado; a possessão dele será do sacerdote. foram contados entre os filhos de Israel.

The Levites, however, were not numbered among the sons of Israel, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

34 A ssim fizeram os filhos de Israel, conforme tudo o que o Senhor ordenara a Moisés; acamparam-se segundo os seus estandartes, e marcharam, cada qual segundo as suas familias, segundo as casas de seus pais.

Thus the sons of Israel did; according to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so they camped by their standards, and so they set out, every one by his family according to his father’s household.
