1 Т ака целият Израел се преброи по родословия; и ето, записани са в Книгата на Израелевите и Юдейските царе. Те бяха пленени във Вавилон поради беззаконията си.

So all Israel were listed by genealogies; and behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel. Judah was carried away captive to Babylon for their disobedience.

2 А първите жители, които се настаниха в притежанията им, в градовете им, бяха израелтяните, свещениците, левитите и нетинимите.

Now the first inhabitants who lived in their possessions in their cities were Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the Nethinim.

3 И в Йерусалим се заселиха от Юдовите синове, от Вениаминовите синове, от Ефремовите синове и от Манасиевите синове:

In Jerusalem lived of the children of Judah, of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim and Manasseh:

4 У тай, син на Амиуд, син на Амрия, който беше син на Имрия, Ваниевия син, от синовете на Фарес, Юдовия син;

Uthai the son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the children of Perez the son of Judah.

5 и от Шелаевите синове: първородният Асайя и синовете му;

Of the Shilonites: Asaiah the firstborn, and his sons.

6 и от Заровите синове: Еуил и братята им, шестстотин и деветдесет души;

Of the sons of Zerah: Jeuel and their brothers, six hundred ninety.

7 а от Вениаминовите синове: Салу, син на Месулам, син на Одуйя, Асенуевия син,

Of the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hassenuah,

8 Е вния, Ероамовият син, Ила, син на Озия, Михриевия син, и Месулам, син на Сефатия, син на Рагуил, Евниевия син;

and Ibneiah the son of Jeroham, and Elah the son of Uzzi, the son of Michri, and Meshullam the son of Shephatiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah;

9 и братята им, според семействата им деветстотин петдесет и шест души; всички тези мъже бяха началници на бащини домове според бащините им домове.

and their brothers, according to their generations, nine hundred fifty-six. All these men were heads of fathers’ households by their fathers’ houses.

10 А от свещениците: Едайя, Йоиарив, Яхин,

Of the priests: Jedaiah, Jehoiarib, Jachin,

11 и Азария, син на Хелкия, син на Месулам, който беше син на Садок, син на Мерайот, син на Ахитов, началник на Божия дом;

and Azariah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of God’s house;

12 и Адайя, син на Ероам, син на Пасхор, Мелхиевия син, и Маасай, син на Адиил, син на Язир, който беше син на Месулам, син на Месилемит, Емировия син,

and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah, and Maasai the son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer;

13 и братята им, началници на бащините им домове, хиляда седемстотин и шестдесет души, мъже, много способни за делото на службата в Божия дом.

and their brothers, heads of their fathers’ houses, one thousand seven hundred sixty; very able men for the work of the service of God’s house.

14 А от левитите: Семая, син на Асув, син на Азрикам, Асавиевия син, от Мерариевите потомци;

Of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;

15 и Ваквакар, Ерес, Галал и Матания, син на Михей, син на Зехрия, Асафовия син;

and Bakbakkar, Heresh, Galal, and Mattaniah the son of Mica, the son of Zichri, the son of Asaph,

16 и Авдий, син на Сомайя, син на Галал, Едутуновия син, и Варахия, син на Аса, син на Елкана, който се засели в селата на нетофатците.

and Obadiah the son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun, and Berechiah the son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, who lived in the villages of the Netophathites.

17 А вратарите бяха: Селум, Акув, Талмон, Ахиман и братята им; Селум беше началник;

The porters: Shallum, Akkub, Talmon, Ahiman, and their brothers (Shallum was the chief),

18 т е досега бяха вратари при царската източна врата за полковете на Левиевите потомци.

who previously served in the king’s gate eastward. They were the porters for the camp of the children of Levi.

19 А Селум, син на Коре, който беше син на Авиасаф, Коревия син, и братята му от бащиния му дом, Кореевите синове, бяха над работата на службата, пазачи на входовете на скинията; и бащите им са били стражи на входа на Господния стан;

Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brothers, of his father’s house, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent. Their fathers had been over the camp of Yahweh, keepers of the entry.

20 п реди това началник над тях беше Финеес, Елеазеровият син, с когото беше Господ;

Phinehas the son of Eleazar was ruler over them in time past, and Yahweh was with him.

21 а Захария, Меселемиевият син, беше пазач при входа на шатъра за срещане.

Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was porter of the door of the Tent of Meeting.

22 В сички онези, избрани за пазачи при входовете, бяха двеста и дванадесет души. Те, които Давид и ясновидецът Самуил бяха поставили на службата им, бяха преброени по родословия в селата си.

All these who were chosen to be porters in the thresholds were two hundred twelve. These were listed by genealogy in their villages, whom David and Samuel the seer ordained in their office of trust.

23 И така те и потомците им надзираваха портите на Господния дом, на дома на скинията, като пазеха поред.

So they and their children had the oversight of the gates of Yahweh’s house, even the house of the tent, by wards.

24 В ратарите бяха на четирите страни: на изток, запад, север и юг.

On the four sides were the porters, toward the east, west, north, and south.

25 А братята им, които бяха по селата си, трябваше да идват в определени времена, за да бъдат с тях по седем дни.

Their brothers, in their villages, were to come in every seven days from time to time to be with them:

26 З ащото тези левити, четиримата главни вратари, оставаха в службата си и надзираваха стаите и съкровищата на Божия дом.

for the four chief porters, who were Levites, were in an office of trust, and were over the rooms and over the treasuries in God’s house.

27 Т е и нощуваха около Божия дом, защото грижата за него беше възложена на тях и те трябваше да го отварят всяка сутрин.

They stayed around God’s house, because that duty was on them; and to their duty was its opening morning by morning.

28 А някои от тях бдяха над служебните съдове, защото по брой ги внасяха и по брой ги изнасяха.

Certain of them were in charge of the vessels of service; for these were brought in by count, and these were taken out by count.

29 О ще някои от тях бяха определени над другите вещи, над всичките свещени съдове, над чистото брашно, виното, елея, ливана и ароматите.

Some of them also were appointed over the furniture, and over all the vessels of the sanctuary, over the fine flour, the wine, the oil, the frankincense, and the spices.

30 А някои от свещеническото съсловие приготвяха благоуханното миро.

Some of the sons of the priests prepared the mixing of the spices.

31 А Мататия, който беше от левитите, първородният на корееца Серум, надзираваше печените в тава жертви.

Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, had the office of trust over the things that were baked in pans.

32 И други от братята им, от потомците на Каатовите синове, бяха над присъствените хлябове, за да ги приготвят всяка събота.

Some of their brothers, of the sons of the Kohathites, were over the show bread, to prepare it every Sabbath.

33 И змежду тях бяха певците, началниците на бащините домове на левитите, които живееха в стаите, свободни от друго служене, защото се упражняваха в работата си денем и нощем.

These are the singers, heads of fathers’ households of the Levites, who lived in the rooms and were free from other service; for they were employed in their work day and night.

34 Т ези бяха началници на бащините домове на левитите, началници според семействата им; те живееха в Йерусалим. Родословието на Саул

These were heads of fathers’ households of the Levites, throughout their generations, chief men. These lived at Jerusalem.

35 А в Гаваон се засели Гаваоновият баща Еил, името на чиято жена беше Мааха:

Jeiel the father of Gibeon, whose wife’s name was Maacah, lived in Gibeon with

36 а първородният му син беше Авдон, после Сур, Кис, Ваал, Нир, Надав,

his firstborn son Abdon, Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,

37 Г едор, Ахио, Захария и Макелот;

Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah, and Mikloth.

38 а Макелот роди Симеам; също и те се заселиха с братята си в Йерусалим, срещу братята си.

Mikloth became the father of Shimeam. They also lived with their brothers in Jerusalem, near their brothers.

39 А Нир роди Кис; Кис роди Саул; а Саул роди Йонатан, Мелхисуй, Авинадав и Есваал.

Ner became the father of Kish. Kish became the father of Saul. Saul became the father of Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Eshbaal.

40 А Йонатановият син беше Мерив-ваал; а Мерив-ваал роди Михей.

The son of Jonathan was Merib Baal. Merib Baal became the father of Micah.

41 А Михееви синове бяха: Фитон, Мелех, Терея

The sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tahrea, and Ahaz.

42 и Ахаз, който роди Яра; а Яра роди Алемет, Азмавет и Зимрий; а Зимрий роди Моса;

Ahaz became the father of Jarah. Jarah became the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri. Zimri became the father of Moza.

43 и Моса роди Виней; а негов син беше Рафайя; негов син - Елеас; и негов син - Асил.

Moza became the father of Binea; and Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son, and Azel his son.

44 А Асил имаше шестима синове, чиито имена са тези: Азрикам, Вохеру, Исмаил, Сеария, Авдий и Анан; те бяха Асилови синове.

Azel had six sons, whose names are these: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. These were the sons of Azel.
