1 Н а племето на Юдовите синове според семействата им се падна по жребий земята до Едом; пустинята Цин на юг беше южната ѝ граница.

And the lot for the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families was unto the border of Edom, even to the wilderness of Zin southward, at the uttermost part of the south.

2 Ю жната им граница започваше от най-далечния край на Соленото море, от залива, който се простира към Негев;

And their south border was from the uttermost part of the Salt Sea, from the bay that looketh southward;

3 и продължаваше към Негев до склона на Акравим, преминаваше в Цин, изкачваше се на юг от Кадис-варни, преминаваше край Есрон, изкачваше се в Адар, завиваше към Карка,

and it went out southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and went up by the south of Kadesh-barnea, and passed along by Hezron, and went up to Addar, and turned about to Karka;

4 п реминаваше до Асмон и достигаше до Египетския поток. Границата свършваше при морето. Това е южната им граница.

and it passed along to Azmon, and went out at the brook of Egypt; and the goings out of the border were at the sea: this shall be your south border.

5 А източната граница беше Соленото море до устието на Йордан. И границата на северната част започваше от залива на морето при устието на Йордан;

And the east border was the Salt Sea, even unto the end of the Jordan. And the border of the north quarter was from the bay of the sea at the end of the Jordan;

6 п родължаваше до Ветагла и преминаваше на север от Ветарава. Границата се изкачваше до камъка на Воан, Рувимовия потомък.

and the border went up to Beth-hoglah, and passed along by the north of Beth-arabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben;

7 О т долината Ахор границата възлизаше към Девир и завиваше на север към Галгал срещу нагорнището на Адумим, който е на юг от потока, преминаваше към водите на Енсемес и свършваше до извора Рогил.

and the border went up to Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, that is over against the ascent of Adummim, which is on the south side of the river; and the border passed along to the waters of En-shemesh, and the goings out thereof were at En-rogel;

8 Г раницата възлизаше през долината на Еномовия син, на юг от Евус (това е Йерусалим), и минаваше по върха на хълма, който е на запад срещу еномската долина, в северния край на долината на рафаимите;

and the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the side of the Jebusite southward (the same is Jerusalem); and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the uttermost part of the vale of Rephaim northward;

9 и от върха на хълма границата завиваше до извора на водата Нефтоя и стигаше до градовете на ефронската планина; после се отправяше към Ваала (която е Кириат-иарим).

and the border extended from the top of the mountain unto the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of mount Ephron; and the border extended to Baalah (the same is Kiriath-jearim);

10 О т Ваала границата завиваше на запад към сиирската планина, минаваше край северната страна на планината Ярим (която е Хасалон), слизаше във Ветсемес и минаваше през Тамна;

and the border turned about from Baalah westward unto mount Seir, and passed along unto the side of mount Jearim on the north (the same is Chesalon), and went down to Beth-shemesh, and passed along by Timnah;

11 п осле границата излизаше на север от Акарон и се отправяше към Сикрон, минаваше през планината Ваал и стигаше до Явнеил. Границата свършваше при морето.

and the border went out unto the side of Ekron northward; and the border extended to Shikkeron, and passed along to mount Baalah, and went out at Jabneel; and the goings out of the border were at the sea.

12 А западната граница беше край Голямото море и пределите му. Тези бяха околовръстните граници на Юдовите синове според семействата им.

And the west border was to the great sea, and the border thereof. This is the border of the children of Judah round about according to their families.

13 И според заповяданото от Господа на Исус той даде на Халев, Ефониевия син, за дял между Юдовите синове града на Арва, Енаковия баща, който град е Хеврон.

And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a portion among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of Jehovah to Joshua, even Kiriath-arba, which Arba was the father of Anak (the same is Hebron).

14 А Халев прогони от там тримата Енакови сина: Сесай, Ахиман и Талмай.

And Caleb drove out thence the three sons of Anak: Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.

15 О ттам отиде против жителите на Девир (а името на Девир преди беше Кириат-сефер).

And he went up thence against the inhabitants of Debir: now the name of Debir beforetime was Kiriath-sepher.

16 И Халев каза: Който порази Кириат-сефер и го превземе, на него ще дам дъщеря си Ахса за жена.

And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kiriath-sepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife.

17 П ревзе го Готониил, син на Кенез, Халевовия брат; и той му даде дъщеря си Ахса за жена.

And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife.

18 И като отиваше, тя му внуши да поиска от баща ѝ нива; и така, като слезе от осела, Халев ѝ каза: Какво ти е?

And it came to pass, when she came unto him, that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she alighted from off her ass; and Caleb said, What wouldest thou?

19 А тя отвърна: Дай ми благословение; понеже си ми дал южна земя, дай ми и водни извори. И той ѝ даде горните и долните извори.

And she said, Give me a blessing; for that thou hast set me in the land of the South, give me also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs and the nether springs.

20 Т ова е наследството на племето на Юдовите синове според семействата им.

This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families.

21 Н ай-крайните градове във владение на племето на Юдовите синове, граничещи с Едом на юг, бяха: Кавсеил, Едар, Ягур,

And the uttermost cities of the tribe of the children of Judah toward the border of Edom in the South were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur,

22 К ина, Димона, Адада,

and Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah,

23 К адес, Асор, Итнан,

and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan,

24 З иф, Телем, Ваалот,

Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth,

25 А сор-адата, Кириот, Есрон (който е Асор),

and Hazor-hadattah, and Kerioth-hezron (the same is Hazor),

26 А мам, Сема, Молада,

Amam, and Shema, and Moladah,

27 А саргада, Есемон, Ветфалет,

and Hazar-gaddah, and Heshmon, and Beth-pelet,

28 А сар-суал, Вирсавее, Визиотия,

and Hazar-shual, and Beer-sheba, and Biziothiah,

29 В аал, Иим, Асем,

Baalah, and Iim, and Ezem,

30 Е лтолад, Хесил, Хорма,

and Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah,

31 С иклаг, Мадмана, Сансана,

and Ziklag, and Madmannah, and Sansannah,

32 Л еваот, Силеим, Аин и Римон; всичките градове заедно със селата им бяха двадесет и девет.

and Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon: all the cities are twenty and nine, with their villages.

33 В равнината бяха: Естаол, Сараа, Асна,

In the lowland, Eshtaol, and Zorah, and Ashnah,

34 З аноа, Енганим, Тапфуа, Инам,

and Zanoah, and En-gannim, Tappuah, and Enam,

35 Я рмут, Одолам, Сохо, Азика,

Jarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah,

36 С агарим, Адитаим, Гедира и Гедиротаим; четиринадесет града заедно със селата им;

and Shaaraim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim; fourteen cities with their villages.

37 С енан, Адаса, Мигдалгад,

Zenan, and Hadashah, and Migdal-gad,

38 Д алаан, Масфа, Йоктеил,

and Dilean, and Mizpeh, and Joktheel,

39 Л ахис, Васкат, Еглон,

Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon,

40 Х авон, Лахмас, Хитлис,

and Cabbon, and Lahmam, and Chitlish,

41 Г едирот, Вет-дагон, Наама и Макида; шестнадесет града заедно със силата им;

and Gederoth, Beth-dagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah; sixteen cities with their villages.

42 Л ивна, Етер, Асан,

Libnah, and Ether, and Ashan,

43 Е фта, Асена, Несив,

and Iphtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib,

44 К еила, Ахзив и Мариса; девет града заедно със селата им;

and Keilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah; nine cities with their villages.

45 А карон и заселищата му заедно със селата му;

Ekron, with its towns and its villages;

46 о т Акарон до морето всичките градове, които са близо до Азот, заедно със селата им;

from Ekron even unto the sea, all that were by the side of Ashdod, with their villages.

47 А зот и заселищата му заедно със селата му, Газа и заселищата му заедно със селата му, до Египетския поток и Голямото море с пределите му.

Ashdod, its towns and its villages; Gaza, its towns and its villages; unto the brook of Egypt, and the great sea, and the border thereof.

48 А в хълмистите места: Самир, Ятир, Сохо,

And in the hill-country, Shamir, and Jattir, and Socoh,

49 Д ана, Кириат-сана (който е Девир),

and Dannah, and Kiriath-sannah (the same is Debir),

50 А нав, Естемо, Аним,

and Anab, and Eshtemoh, and Anim,

51 Г есен, Олон и Гило; единадесет града заедно със селата им;

and Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh; eleven cities with their villages.

52 А рав, Дума, Есан,

Arab, and Dumah, and Eshan,

53 Я нум, Вет-тапфуа, Афека,

and Janim, and Beth-tappuah, and Aphekah,

54 Х умата, Кириат-арва (който е Хеврон) и Сиор; девет града заедно със селата им;

and Humtah, and Kiriath-arba (the same is Hebron), and Zior; nine cities with their villages.

55 М аон, Кармил, Зиф, Юта,

Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Jutah,

56 Е зраел, Йокдеам, Заноа,

and Jezreel, and Jokdeam, and Zanoah,

57 А каин, Гаваа и Тамна; десет града заедно със селата им;

Kain, Gibeah, and Timnah; ten cities with their villages.

58 А лул, Ветсур, Гедор,

Halhul, Beth-zur, and Gedor,

59 М аарат, Ветанот и Елтекон; шест града заедно със селата им;

and Maarath, and Beth-anoth, and Eltekon; six cities with their villages.

60 К ириат-ваал (който е Кириат-иарим) и Рава; два града заедно със селата им.

Kiriath-baal (the same is Kiriath-jearim), and Rabbah; two cities with their villages.

61 В пустинята: Ветарава, Мидин, Сехаха,

In the wilderness, Beth-arabah, Middin, and Secacah,

62 Н ивсан, Градът на солта и Енгади; шест града заедно със селата им.

and Nibshan, and the City of Salt, and En-gedi; six cities with their villages.

63 А Юдовите синове не можаха да изгонят йевусейците, които населяваха Йерусалим; а йевусейците живееха в Йерусалим с Юдовите синове - и така живеят до днес.

And as for the Jebusites, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out: but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day.
