1 И като свика дванадесетте, даде им сила и власт над всички бесове и да изцеляват болести.

And he called the twelve together, and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.

2 И ги изпрати да проповядват Божието царство и да изцеляват болните.

And he sent them forth to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

3 И сус им каза: Не вземайте нищо за път - нито тояга, нито торба, нито хляб, нито пари, нито да имате по две ризи.

And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staff, nor wallet, nor bread, nor money; neither have two coats.

4 И в която къща влезете, там отсядайте и оттам тръгвайте на път.

And into whatsoever house ye enter, there abide, and thence depart.

5 И ако някои не ви приемат, когато излизате от онзи град, отърсете и праха от краката си за свидетелство против тях.

And as many as receive you not, when ye depart from that city, shake off the dust from your feet for a testimony against them.

6 И те тръгнаха и отиваха по селата, и проповядваха благовестието, и изцеляваха навсякъде.

And they departed, and went throughout the villages, preaching the gospel, and healing everywhere.

7 А четвъртовластникът Ирод чу за всичко, което ставало, и беше в недоумение; защото някои казваха, че Йоан е възкръснал от мъртвите;

Now Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was done: and he was much perplexed, because that it was said by some, that John was risen from the dead;

8 д руги пък, че Илия се е явил; а други, че един от старовременните пророци е възкръснал.

and by some, that Elijah had appeared; and by others, that one of the old prophets was risen again.

9 И Ирод каза: Йоан аз обезглавих; но Кой е Този, за Когото слушам такива неща? И желаеше да Го види. Нахранването на пет хиляди души

And Herod said, John I beheaded: but who is this, about whom I hear such things? And he sought to see him.

10 И като се върнаха апостолите, разказаха на Исус всичко, което бяха извършили; и Той ги отведе и се оттегли насаме в уединено място близо до един град, наречен Витсаида.

And the apostles, when they were returned, declared unto him what things they had done. And he took them, and withdrew apart to a city called Bethsaida.

11 А множествата, като разбраха това, отидоха след Него; и Той ги посрещна с готовност и им говореше за Божието царство, и изцеляваше онези, които имаха нужда от изцеление.

But the multitudes perceiving it followed him: and he welcomed them, and spake to them of the kingdom of God, and them that had need of healing he cured.

12 И когато денят започна да преваля, дванадесетте се приближиха и Му казаха: Разпусни множеството, за да отидат в околните села и колиби да нощуват и да си намерят храна, защото тук сме в уединено място.

And the day began to wear away; and the twelve came, and said unto him, Send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages and country round about, and lodge, and get provisions: for we are here in a desert place.

13 Н о Той им каза: Дайте им вие да ядат. А те отвърнаха: Нямаме повече от пет хляба и две риби, освен да отидем и да купим храна за всички тези хора?

But he said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they said, We have no more than five loaves and two fishes; except we should go and buy food for all this people.

14 ( Защото имаше около пет хиляди мъже.) И каза на учениците Си: Накарайте ги да насядат на групи по петдесет души.

For they were about five thousand men. And he said unto his disciples, Make them sit down in companies, about fifty each.

15 Т е направиха така и накараха всички да насядат.

And they did so, and made them all sit down.

16 А Той взе петте хляба и двете риби и погледна към небето, и ги благослови; и като ги разчупи, даваше на учениците да сложат пред народа.

And he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and brake; and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude.

17 И ядоха, и всички се наситиха; и вдигнаха останалите им къшеи - дванадесет коша. Петър изповядва кой е Исус

And they ate, and were all filled: and there was taken up that which remained over to them of broken pieces, twelve baskets.

18 И когато Той се молеше насаме и учениците бяха с Него, ги попита ги: Според както говорят хората, Кой съм Аз?

And it came to pass, as he was praying apart, the disciples were with him: and he asked them, saying, Who do the multitudes say that I am?

19 А те отговориха: Едни казват, че си Йоан Кръстител; а други - Илия; трети пък - че един от старовременните пророци е възкръснал.

And they answering said, John the Baptist; but others say, Elijah; and others, that one of the old prophets is risen again.

20 Т огава им каза: А вие какво казвате: Кой съм Аз? Петър Му отговори: Ти си Божият Помазаник.

And he said unto them, But who say ye that I am? And Peter answering said, The Christ of God.

21 А Той им заръча и заповяда да не говорят с никого за това, като каза:

But he charged them, and commanded them to tell this to no man;

22 Ч овешкият Син трябва много да пострада и да бъде отхвърлен от старейшините, главните свещеници и книжниците, да бъде убит и на третия ден да бъде възкресен. Следване на Исус Христос

saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up.

23 К аза още и на всички: Ако някой иска да дойде след Мене, нека се отрече от себе си, нека носи кръста си всеки ден и нека Ме следва.

And he said unto all, If any man would come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

24 З ащото, който иска да спаси живота си, ще го изгуби; а който изгуби живота си заради Мене, той ще го спаси.

For whosoever would save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

25 П онеже каква полза за човек, ако спечели целия свят, а изгуби или ощети себе си?

For what is a man profited, if he gain the whole world, and lose or forfeit his own self?

26 З ащото ако се срамува някой от Мен и от думите Ми, то и Човешкият Син ще се срамува от него, когато дойде в Своята слава и в славата на Отца и на Своите ангели.

For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in his own glory, and the glory of the Father, and of the holy angels.

27 А ви казвам наистина, има някои от тук стоящите, които никак няма да вкусят смърт, докато не видят Божието царство. Преображение

But I tell you of a truth, There are some of them that stand here, who shall in no wise taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.

28 И около осем дни след като каза това, Той взе със Себе Си Петър, Йоан и Яков и се качи на планината да се моли.

And it came to pass about eight days after these sayings, that he took with him Peter and John and James, and went up into the mountain to pray.

29 И като се молеше, видът на лицето Му се измени и облеклото Му стана бяло и блестящо.

And as he was praying, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment became white and dazzling.

30 И , ето, двама мъже говореха с Него; те бяха Моисей и Илия,

And behold, there talked with him two men, who were Moses and Elijah;

31 к оито се явиха в слава и говориха за смъртта Му, с която Му предстоеше да завърши живота Си в Йерусалим.

who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he was about to accomplish at Jerusalem.

32 А Петър и онези, които бяха с него, ги беше налегнал сън; но когато се разбудиха, видяха славата Му и двамата мъже, които стояха с Него.

Now Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: but when they were fully awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.

33 И когато те се разделиха с Него, Петър каза на Исус: Наставнико, добре е да сме тук; и нека направим три шатри: за Теб една, за Моисей една и една за Илия, без да знае какво казва.

And it came to pass, as they were parting from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah: not knowing what he said.

34 А докато казваше това, дойде облак и ги засени; и учениците се изплашиха, като влязоха в облака.

And while he said these things, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud.

35 И от облака дойде глас, който каза: Този е Моят Син, Моят Избраник; Него слушайте.

And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my Son, my chosen: hear ye him.

36 И когато престана гласът, Исус остана сам. И те замълчаха и през онези дни не казваха на никого нищо от това, което бяха видели. Изцелението на бесноватия младеж

And when the voice came, Jesus was found alone. And they held their peace, and told no man in those days any of the things which they had seen.

37 А на следващия ден, когато слязоха от планината, посрещна Го голямо множество.

And it came to pass, on the next day, when they were come down from the mountain, a great multitude met him.

38 И , ето, един човек от множеството извика: Учителю, моля Ти се, погледни милостиво на сина ми, защото ми е единствено дете.

And behold, a man from the multitude cried, saying, Teacher, I beseech thee to look upon my son; for he is mine only child:

39 И , ето, прихваща го някакъв дух и той изведнъж закрещява и духът го сгърчва така, че той се запеня, и като го разтерзава, едва го напуска.

and behold, a spirit taketh him, and he suddenly crieth out; and it teareth him that he foameth, and it hardly departeth from him, bruising him sorely.

40 П омолих Твоите ученици да го изгонят, но не можаха.

And I besought thy disciples to cast it out; and they could not.

41 И сус отговори: О, роде невярващ и извратен! Докога ще бъда с вас и ще ви търпя? Доведи сина си тук.

And Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you, and bear with you? bring hither thy son.

42 И още докато се приближаваше, бесът го тръшна и сгърчи силно; а Исус смъмра нечистия дух, изцели момчето и го върна на баща му.

And as he was yet a coming, the demon dashed him down, and tare him grievously. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.

43 И всички се удивляваха на Божието величие. А докато всички се чудеха на това, което правеше, Той каза на учениците Си: Предсказание за съда

And they were all astonished at the majesty of God. But while all were marvelling at all the things which he did, he said unto his disciples,

44 В ложете в ушите си тези думи: Човешкият Син ще бъде предаден в човешки ръце.

Let these words sink into your ears: for the Son of man shall be delivered up into the hands of men.

45 Н о те не разбраха смисъла на тези думи; те бяха скрити от тях, за да не ги разберат; а се бояха да Го попитат за тези думи. Спорът между учениците за първенство

But they understood not this saying, and it was concealed from them, that they should not perceive it; and they were afraid to ask him about this saying.

46 И между тях възникна пререкание кой от тях ще бъде най-големият.

And there arose a reasoning among them, which of them was the greatest.

47 А Исус, като прозря мисълта на сърцето им, взе едно детенце, постави го при Себе Си и им каза:

But when Jesus saw the reasoning of their heart, he took a little child, and set him by his side,

48 К ойто приеме това детенце в Мое име, Мене приема; и който приеме Мене, приема Този, Който Ме е изпратил; защото, който е най-малък между всички вас, той е най-голям. "Който не е против вас, е на ваша страна"

and said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this little child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same is great.

49 А Йоан се обърна към Него и каза: Наставнико, видяхме един човек да изгонва бесове в Твое име; и му забранихме, защото не върви с нас.

And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out demons in thy name; and we forbade him, because he followeth not with us.

50 А Исус му каза: Не му забранявайте; защото, който не е против вас, е на ваша страна. На път за Йерусалим. Негостоприемството на самаряните

But Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against you is for you.

51 И когато се навършваха дните да бъде взет от света, Той тръгна по пътя към Йерусалим.

And it came to pass, when the days were well-nigh come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,

52 И изпрати пред Себе Си пратеници, които отидоха и влязоха в едно самарянско село да приготвят стая за Него.

and sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him.

53 Н о там не Го приеха, защото имаше вид на пътник за Йерусалим.

And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he were going to Jerusalem.

54 К ато видяха това учениците Му Яков и Йоан, казаха: Господи, искаш ли да заповядаме да падне огън от небето и да ги изтреби както направи и Илия?

And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we bid fire to come down from heaven, and consume them?

55 А Той се обърна и ги смъмра и каза: Вие не знаете на какъв дух сте; защото Човешкият Син не е дошъл да погуби човешки души, но да спаси.

But he turned, and rebuked them.

56 И отидоха в друго село. Какви трябва да са последователите на Исус Христос

And they went to another village.

57 А като вървяха по пътя, един човек Му каза: Ще Те следвам, където и да идеш.

And as they went on the way, a certain man said unto him, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.

58 И сус му каза: Лисиците си имат леговища и небесните птици гнезда, а Човешкият Син няма къде глава да подслони.

And Jesus said unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the heaven have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

59 А на друг каза: Върви след Мен. А той отвърна: Господи, позволи ми първо да отида и да погреба баща си.

And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

60 Н о Той му каза: Остави мъртвите да погребат своите мъртъвци, а ти иди и прогласявай Божието царство.

But he said unto him, Leave the dead to bury their own dead; but go thou and publish abroad the kingdom of God.

61 А друг каза: Ще дойда след Тебе, Господи, но първо ми позволи да се сбогувам с домашните си.

And another also said, I will follow thee, Lord; but first suffer me to bid farewell to them that are at my house.

62 А Исус му каза: Никой, който е сложил ръката си на ралото и гледа назад, не е годен за Божието царство.

But Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
