1 Т огава Исус повика Рувимовите синове, Гадовите синове и половината от Манасиевото племе и им каза:

Then Joshua called the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh,

2 В ие изпълнихте всичко, което ви заповяда Господният слуга Моисей. Послушахте и мене за всичко, което ви заповядах.

and said unto them, Ye have kept all that Moses the servant of Jehovah commanded you, and have hearkened unto my voice in all that I commanded you:

3 П рез дългото време до днес не оставихте братята си, но изпълнихте своя дълг според заповедта на Господа, вашия Бог.

ye have not left your brethren these many days unto this day, but have kept the charge of the commandment of Jehovah your God.

4 И сега Господ, вашият Бог, успокои братята ви, както им беше обещал; затова, върнете се сега и идете по шатрите си в земята, която притежавате, която Господният слуга Моисей ви даде отвъд Йордан.

And now Jehovah your God hath given rest unto your brethren, as he spake unto them: therefore now turn ye, and get you unto your tents, unto the land of your possession, which Moses the servant of Jehovah gave you beyond the Jordan.

5 Н о внимавайте добре и изпълнявайте заповедите и закона, който Господният слуга Моисей ви заповяда. Да обичате Господа, вашия Бог, да ходите във всичките Му пътища, да пазите заповедите Му, да се привържете към Него и Му служите с цялото си сърце и цялата си душа.

Only take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of Jehovah commanded you, to love Jehovah your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.

6 И така, Исус ги благослови и ги разпусна; и те си отидоха по шатрите.

So Joshua blessed them, and sent them away; and they went unto their tents.

7 ( На половината от Манасиевото племе Моисей беше дал наследство във Васан; а на другата му половина Исус даде наследство между братята им отвъд Йордан, на запад). И така, Исус, когато ги разпускаше да си вървят по шатрите, ги благослови,

Now to the one half-tribe of Manasseh Moses had given inheritance in Bashan; but unto the other half gave Joshua among their brethren beyond the Jordan westward; moreover when Joshua sent them away unto their tents, he blessed them,

8 к ато им каза: Върнете се с много богатство по шатрите си, с много добитък, със сребро и злато, с мед и желязо и с много дрехи; и разделете с братята си плячката, взета от неприятелите ви.

and spake unto them, saying, Return with much wealth unto your tents, and with very much cattle, with silver, and with gold, and with brass, and with iron, and with very much raiment: divide the spoil of your enemies with your brethren.

9 И така, Рувимовите синове, Гадовите синове и половината от Манасиевото племе се отделиха от израелтяните от Сило, което е в Ханаанската земя, и тръгнаха, за да отидат в Галаадската земя - в земята, която беше тяхно притежание, придобито според Господнето слово чрез Моисей.

And the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh returned, and departed from the children of Israel out of Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan, to go unto the land of Gilead, to the land of their possession, whereof they were possessed, according to the commandment of Jehovah by Moses.

10 И когато дойдоха в Йорданската околност, която е в Ханаанската земя, Рувимовите синове, Гадовите синове и половината от Манасиевото племе издигнаха там жертвеник при Йордан, жертвеник с внушителни размери.

And when they came unto the region about the Jordan, that is in the land of Canaan, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh built there an altar by the Jordan, a great altar to look upon.

11 А израелтяните чуха да се говори: Ето, Рувимовите синове, Гадовите синове и половината от Манасиевото племе издигнали жертвеник в предната част на Ханаанската земя, в околността на Йордан, на страната, която принадлежи на израелтяните.

And the children of Israel heard say, Behold, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh have built an altar in the forefront of the land of Canaan, in the region about the Jordan, on the side that pertaineth to the children of Israel.

12 И когато израелтяните чуха това, цялото общество израелтяни се събра в Сило, за да отидат да воюват против тях.

And when the children of Israel heard of it, the whole congregation of the children of Israel gathered themselves together at Shiloh, to go up against them to war.

13 И зраелтяните пратиха до Рувимовите синове, до Гадовите синове и до половината от Манасиевото племе, в Галаадската земя, Финеес, син на свещеника Елеазар,

And the children of Israel sent unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the half-tribe of Manasseh, into the land of Gilead, Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest,

14 и с него десет началници, по един началник на бащиния дом за всяко Израелево племе, всеки от които беше глава на бащиния си дом между Израелевите хиляди.

and with him ten princes, one prince of a fathers' house for each of the tribes of Israel; and they were every one of them head of their fathers' houses among the thousands of Israel.

15 Т е дойдоха при Рувимовите синове, при Гадовите синове и при половината от Манасиевото племе в Галаадската земя и им казаха:

And they came unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the half-tribe of Manasseh, unto the land of Gilead, and they spake with them, saying,

16 Т ака казва цялото Господне общество: Какво е това престъпление, което извършихте против Израелевия Бог, и се отклонихте днес да следвате Господа, като сте си издигнали жертвеник, за да отстъпите днес от Него?

Thus saith the whole congregation of Jehovah, What trespass is this that ye have committed against the God of Israel, to turn away this day from following Jehovah, in that ye have builded you an altar, to rebel this day against Jehovah?

17 М алко ли ни беше грехът спрямо Фегор, от който и до днес не сме се очистили, макар че заради него напаст сполетя Господнето общество,

Is the iniquity of Peor too little for us, from which we have not cleansed ourselves unto this day, although there came a plague upon the congregation of Jehovah,

18 а вие днес искате да се отклоните от следване на Господа? Понеже днес отстъпвате от Господа, утре Той ще се разгневи против цялото Израелево общество.

that ye must turn away this day from following Jehovah? and it will be, seeing ye rebel to-day against Jehovah, that to-morrow he will be wroth with the whole congregation of Israel.

19 Н о ако земята, която е ваше притежание, е нечиста, тогава се преместете в земята, която е притежание на Господа, където стои Господнята скиния, и получете дял заедно с нас; само не отстъпвайте от Господа, нито се отделяйте от нас, като си издигнете друг жертвеник освен жертвеника на Господа, нашия Бог.

Howbeit, if the land of your possession be unclean, then pass ye over unto the land of the possession of Jehovah, wherein Jehovah's tabernacle dwelleth, and take possession among us: but rebel not against Jehovah, nor rebel against us, in building you an altar besides the altar of Jehovah our God.

20 А хан, Зараевият син, не извърши ли престъпление с обречените неща и не падна ли гняв върху цялото Израелево общество? Този човек не погина единствен поради беззаконието си.

Did not Achan the son of Zerah commit a trespass in the devoted thing, and wrath fell upon all the congregation of Israel? and that man perished not alone in his iniquity.

21 Т огава Рувимовите синове, Гадовите синове и половината от Манасиевото племе отговориха на Израелевите хилядоначалници:

Then the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh answered, and spake unto the heads of the thousands of Israel,

22 М огъщият Бог Йехова, могъщият Бог Йехова, Той знае - и Израел сам ще узнае! Ако сме сторили това, за да отстъпим или за да извършим престъпление против Господа, то нека Господ да не ни избави днес!

The Mighty One, God, Jehovah, the Mighty One, God, Jehovah, he knoweth; and Israel he shall know: if it be in rebellion, or if in trespass against Jehovah (save thou us not this day,)

23 Д али сме си издигнали жертвеник, за да не следваме Господа или за да принасяме върху него всеизгаряне и мирни жертви, нека сам Господ да отсъди.

that we have built us an altar to turn away from following Jehovah; or if to offer thereon burnt-offering or meal-offering, or if to offer sacrifices of peace-offerings thereon, let Jehovah himself require it;

24 Н ека Той сам види дали не е вярно точно обратното - не направихме ли това от предпазливост и нарочно, като си казвахме: Утре е възможно вашите синове да попитат нашите синове: Какво общо имате вие с Господа, Израелевия Бог?

and if we have not rather out of carefulness done this, and of purpose, saying, In time to come your children might speak unto our children, saying, What have ye to do with Jehovah, the God of Israel?

25 П онеже Господ е установил Йордан за граница между нас и вас, Рувимови синове и Гадови синове; вие нямате дял в Господа. Така вашите синове щяха да станат причина нашите синове да престанат да се боят от Господа.

for Jehovah hath made the Jordan a border between us and you, ye children of Reuben and children of Gad; ye have no portion in Jehovah: so might your children make our children cease from fearing Jehovah.

26 З атова си казахме: Нека се заемем да си издигнем жертвеник, не за всеизгаряне, нито за жертва,

Therefore we said, Let us now prepare to build us an altar, not for burnt-offering, nor for sacrifice:

27 а за да бъде свидетелство между нас и вас и между поколенията ни след нас, че ние имаме право да извършваме пред Господа служение на Него с всеизгарянията си, с жертвите си и с мирните си приноси, за да не могат утре вашите синове да кажат на нашите синове: Вие нямате дял в Господа.

but it shall be a witness between us and you, and between our generations after us, that we may do the service of Jehovah before him with our burnt-offerings, and with our sacrifices, and with our peace-offerings; that your children may not say to our children in time to come, Ye have no portion in Jehovah.

28 З атова си казахме: Ако се случи утре да говорят така на нас или на потомците ни, тогава ще отговорим: Вижте подобието на Господния жертвеник, който бащите ни издигнаха не за всеизгаряне, нито за жертва, а за да бъде свидетелство между нас и вас.

Therefore said we, It shall be, when they so say to us or to our generations in time to come, that we shall say, Behold the pattern of the altar of Jehovah, which our fathers made, not for burnt-offering, nor for sacrifice; but it is a witness between us and you.

29 Г оспод да не дава да отстъпим ние от Него и да престанем да Го следваме днес, като издигнем друг жертвеник за всеизгаряне, за принос и за жертва, освен жертвеника на Господа, нашия Бог, който е пред скинията Му.

Far be it from us that we should rebel against Jehovah, and turn away this day from following Jehovah, to build an altar for burnt-offering, for meal-offering, or for sacrifice, besides the altar of Jehovah our God that is before his tabernacle.

30 А свещеникът Финеес, началниците на обществото и Израелевите хилядоначалници, които бяха с него, като чуха думите, които говориха Рувимовите синове, Гадовите синове и Манасиевите синове, останаха много доволни.

And when Phinehas the priest, and the princes of the congregation, even the heads of the thousands of Israel that were with him, heard the words that the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the children of Manasseh spake, it pleased them well.

31 И Финеес, син на свещеника Елеазар, каза на Рувимовите синове, на Гадовите синове и на Манасиевите синове: Днес познахме, че Господ е сред нас, защото не извършихте това престъпление против Него. Чрез това избавихме израелтяните от Господнята ръка.

And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest said unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the children of Manasseh, This day we know that Jehovah is in the midst of us, because ye have not committed this trespass against Jehovah: now have ye delivered the children of Israel out of the hand of Jehovah.

32 Т огава Финеес, син на свещеника Елеазар, и началниците се върнаха от Рувимовите синове и от Гадовите синове, от Галаадската земя в Ханаанската земя при израелтяните и им донесоха известие.

And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, and the princes, returned from the children of Reuben, and from the children of Gad, out of the land of Gilead, unto the land of Canaan, to the children of Israel, and brought them word again.

33 И това нещо се видя добро на израелтяните; и те благословиха Бога и не говореха вече за отиване на бой против тях, за да разорят земята, където живееха Рувимовите синове и Гадовите синове.

And the thing pleased the children of Israel; and the children of Israel blessed God, and spake no more of going up against them to war, to destroy the land wherein the children of Reuben and the children of Gad dwelt.

34 А Рувимовите синове и Гадовите синове нарекоха жертвеника така: Това е свидетелство помежду ни, че Йехова е Бог.

And the children of Reuben and the children of Gad called the altar Ed: For, said they, it is a witness between us that Jehovah is God.
