1 И в онова време великият княз Михаил, който се застъпва за твоя народ, ще се повдигне; и ще настане време на страдание, каквото никога не е имало, откакто народ съществува до онова време; и в онова време твоят народ ще се отърве - всеки, който бъде намерен записан в книгата. And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who standeth for the children of thy people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

2 Т огава мнозина от спящите в пръстта на земята ще се събудят - едни за вечен живот, а други - за срам и вечно презрение.

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

3 Р азумните ще сияят със светлината на простора, както и онези, които обръщат мнозина в правда - като звездите до вечни векове.

And they that are wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

4 А ти, Данииле, затвори думите и запечатай книгата до края на времето, когато мнозина ще я изследват и знанието за нея ще се умножава.

But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

5 Т огава, като погледнах, аз, Даниил, ето, стояха двама други - един на брега отсам реката и един на брега оттам реката.

Then I, Daniel, looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on the brink of the river on this side, and the other on the brink of the river on that side.

6 Е диният каза на облечения в ленени дрехи човек, който беше над водата на реката: Докога ще се чака за края на тези чудеса?

And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

7 И чух облечения в ленени дрехи човек, който беше над водата на реката, когато издигна десницата си и левицата си към небето и се закле в Онзи, Който живее довека, че това ще бъде след време, времена и половина време и че всичко това ще се изпълни, когато ще са свършили със смазването на силата на святия народ.

And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when they have made an end of breaking in pieces the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

8 И аз чух, но не разбрах. Тогава казах: Господарю мой, как ще завърши всичко това?

And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my lord, what shall be the issue of these things?

9 А той отговори: Иди си, Данииле; защото думите са затворени и запечатани до края на времето.

And he said, Go thy way, Daniel; for the words are shut up and sealed till the time of the end.

10 М нозина ще се чистят и избелят и ще бъдат опитани; а нечестивите ще вършат нечестие и никой от нечестивите няма да разбере; но разумните ще разберат.

Many shall purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined; but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand; but they that are wise shall understand.

11 И от времето, когато бъде премахната вечната жертва и бъде поставена мерзостта, която докарва запустение, ще има хиляда двеста и деветдесет дни.

And from the time that the continual burnt-offering shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand and two hundred and ninety days.

12 Б лажен, който изтърпи и стигне до хиляда триста тридесет и петте дни.

Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

13 Н о ти си иди, докато настане краят; и ще се успокоиш и в края на дните ще застанеш в дела си.

But go thou thy way till the end be; for thou shalt rest, and shalt stand in thy lot, at the end of the days.
