1 И Господнето слово дойде към мен и каза:

And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

2 С ине човешки, насочи лицето си към Йерусалим и направи да капне словото ти към святите места, и пророкувай против Израелевата земя;

Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the sanctuaries, and prophesy against the land of Israel;

3 и кажи на Израелевата земя: Така казва Господ: Ето, Аз съм против теб и като изтегля меча Си от ножницата, ще изтребя от теб и праведния, и нечестивия.

and say to the land of Israel, Thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of its sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.

4 И така, понеже ще изтребя от теб и праведния, и нечестивия, затова мечът Ми ще излезе от ножницата си против всяка твар, от юг до север;

Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of its sheath against all flesh from the south to the north:

5 и всяка твар ще познае, че Аз, Господ, изтеглих меча Си от ножницата му; няма да се върне вече.

and all flesh shall know that I, Jehovah, have drawn forth my sword out of its sheath; it shall not return any more.

6 З атова ти, сине човешки, въздъхни; с превит кръст и с огорчение въздъхни пред тях.

Sigh therefore, thou son of man; with the breaking of thy loins and with bitterness shalt thou sigh before their eyes.

7 А когато те запитат: Защо въздишаш?, отговори: Поради известието, което иде; всяко сърце ще се стопи, всички ръце ще отслабват, всеки дух ще примре и всички колена ще станат като вода; ето, идва и ще се сбъдне, казва Господ Йехова.

And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt say, Because of the tidings, for it cometh; and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and it shall be done, saith the Lord Jehovah.

8 И Господнето слово дойде към мен и каза:

And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

9 С ине човешки, пророкувай: Така казва Господ: Кажи: Меч! Меч се остри, още се излъсква;

Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith Jehovah: Say, A sword, a sword, it is sharpened, and also furbished;

10 о стри се, за да извърши голямо клане; излъсква се, за да лъщи. И така, можем ли да се веселим? Това е жезълът на сина Ми, който презира всяко дърво.

it is sharpened that it may make a slaughter; it is furbished that it may be as lightning: shall we then make mirth? the rod of my son, it contemneth every tree.

11 Д аде се да се излъска, за да се държи в ръка; този меч е наострен и излъскан, за да се даде в ръката на погубителя.

And it is given to be furbished, that it may be handled: the sword, it is sharpened, yea, it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer.

12 И звикай и ридай, сине човешки, защото той е върху народа Ми, върху всички Израелеви първенци; ужас нападна народа Ми поради меча; затова, удари го по бедрото си.

Cry and wail, son of man; for it is upon my people, it is upon all the princes of Israel: they are delivered over to the sword with my people; smite therefore upon thy thigh.

13 З ащото има изпитание; и какво ако и презиращият жезъл не би съществувал вече, казва Господ Йехова?

For there is a trial; and what if even the rod that contemneth shall be no more? saith the Lord Jehovah.

14 И така, ти, сине човешки, пророкувай и изплескай с ръце; и нека мечът удвои, нека мечът утрои броя на ранените - той е мечът на ранените големци, който ще ви обсади отвред.

Thou therefore, son of man, prophesy, and smite thy hands together; and let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of the deadly wounded: it is the sword of the great one that is deadly wounded, which entereth into their chambers.

15 Н анесох ужаса на меча против всичките им порти, за да се стопи всяко сърце и за да се спъват по-често. Уви! Приго̀тви се, за да блести, нато̀чи се, за да коли.

I have set the threatening sword against all their gates, that their heart may melt, and their stumblings be multiplied: ah! it is made as lightning, it is pointed for slaughter.

16 С тегни се, мечо, нападни надясно; насочи се, нападни наляво; накъдето и да се обърне лицето ти.

Gather thee together, go to the right, set thyself in array, go to the left, whithersoever thy face is set.

17 И Аз ще плесна с ръце и ще удовлетворя яростта Си. Аз, Господ, изговорих това.

I will also smite my hands together, and I will cause my wrath to rest: I, Jehovah, have spoken it.

18 Г осподнето слово дойде пак към мен и каза:

The word of Jehovah came unto me again, saying,

19 П ри това, сине човешки, ти си определил два пътя, за да замине мечът на вавилонския цар; и двата ще излизат от същата земя; и направи показалец - направи го при началото на пътя за града.

Also, thou son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come; they twain shall come forth out of one land: and mark out a place, mark it out at the head of the way to the city.

20 О предели път, за да мине мечът в Рава на амонците и в укрепения Йерусалим в Юдея.

Thou shalt appoint a way for the sword to come to Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and to Judah in Jerusalem the fortified.

21 З ащото вавилонският цар се спря при разклонението на пътя, където започват двата пътя, за да гадае: разтърси стрелите, допита се до терафимите, прегледа черния дроб.

For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination: he shook the arrows to and fro, he consulted the teraphim, he looked in the liver.

22 В десницата му е жребият за Йерусалим, за да се поставят стеноломи, да се даде заповед за клане, да се издигне глас с възклицание, да се поставят стеноломи срещу портите, да се издигнат могили, да се съградят крепости.

In his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to set battering rams, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to set battering rams against the gates, to cast up mounds, to build forts.

23 Н о това ще бъде като суетно прорицание пред очите на онези, които им се заклеха; обаче той ще им напомни беззаконието, за да се хванат.

And it shall be unto them as a false divination in their sight, who have sworn oaths unto them; but he bringeth iniquity to remembrance, that they may be taken.

24 З атова така казва Господ Йехова: Понеже направихте да се помни беззаконието ви с откриването на престъпленията ви, така че да се явят греховете ви във всичките ви дела, понеже направихте себе си да бъдете спомнени, ще бъдете хванати в ръце.

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are uncovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand.

25 А ти, смъртоносно ранени, скверни княже Израелев, чийто ден е настъпил, когато беззаконието е стигнало до края си,

And thou, O deadly wounded wicked one, the prince of Israel, whose day is come, in the time of the iniquity of the end,

26 т ака казва Господ Йехова: Снеми митрата и свали короната; тя няма вече да бъде такава, възвиси смирения, а смири възвисения.

thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Remove the mitre, and take off the crown; this shall be no more the same; exalt that which is low, and abase that which is high.

27 А з ще я катурна, катурна, катурна, а и това няма да трае, докато дойде онзи, на когото принадлежи; и на него ще я дам.

I will overturn, overturn, overturn it: this also shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.

28 И ти, сине човешки, пророкувай: Така казва Господ Йехова за амонците и за тяхното укоряване. Кажи: Меч, меч е изтеглен - излъскан, за да коли, и блестящ, за да изтреби,

And thou, son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah concerning the children of Ammon, and concerning their reproach; and say thou, A sword, a sword is drawn, for the slaughter it is furbished, to cause it to devour, that it may be as lightning;

29 д окато те виждат за тебе суетно видение и докато предричат за тебе лъжа, от което ще бъдеш прострян на врата на смъртно ранените нечестивци, чийто ден е настъпил, когато беззаконието е стигнало до края си.

while they see for thee false visions, while they divine lies unto thee, to lay thee upon the necks of the wicked that are deadly wounded, whose day is come in the time of the iniquity of the end.

30 В ърни го в ножницата му. На мястото, където си бил създаден, в родната ти земя ще те съдя.

Cause it to return into its sheath. In the place where thou wast created, in the land of thy birth, will I judge thee.

31 Щ е излея негодуванието Си върху тебе, с огнения Си гняв ще духна върху теб и ще те предам в ръцете на озверели мъже, които са способни да те погубят.

And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee; I will blow upon thee with the fire of my wrath; and I will deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, skilful to destroy.

32 Щ е станеш гориво за огън; кръвта ти ще бъде сред земята ти; няма да има вече спомен за тебе; защото Аз, Господ, изговорих това.

Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I, Jehovah, have spoken it.
