1 С лушайте Мене, вие, които следвате правдата, които търсите Господа; погледнете към скалата, от която сте отсечени, и в дупката на ямата, от която сте изкопани.

Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek Jehovah: look unto the rock whence ye were hewn, and to the hold of the pit whence ye were digged.

2 П огледнете към баща си Авраам и към Сара, която ви е родила; защото, когато беше само един, го повиках, благослових го и го умножих.

Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you; for when he was but one I called him, and I blessed him, and made him many.

3 З ащото Господ ще утеши Сион, Той ще утеши всичките му запустели места и ще направи пустотата му като Едем и запустелостта му - като Господнята градина; веселие и радост ще се намери в него, славословие и глас на хваление.

For Jehovah hath comforted Zion; he hath comforted all her waste places, and hath made her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of Jehovah; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.

4 В нимавайте в Мене, народе Мой, и Ме слушайте, народе Мой; защото закон ще произлезе от Мен и Аз ще поставя правосъдието Си за светлина на народите.

Attend unto me, O my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall go forth from me, and I will establish my justice for a light of the peoples.

5 П равдата Ми наближава, спасението Ми се яви и мишците Ми ще съдят племената; островите ще ме чакат и ще уповават на десницата Ми.

My righteousness is near, my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the peoples; the isles shall wait for me, and on mine arm shall they trust.

6 П овдигнете очите си към небето и погледнете към земята долу, защото небето ще изчезне като дим и земята ще овехтее като дреха, и онези, които живеят на нея, подобно ще измрат; но Моето спасение ще трае довека и правдата Ми няма да се отмени.

Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath; for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment; and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

7 С лушайте Мене, вие, които знаете правда, народе, който имаш в сърцето си закона Ми; не се бой от укорите на хората, нито се смущавай от ругатните им.

Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye dismayed at their revilings.

8 З ащото молецът ще ги разяде като дреха и червеят ще ги разяде като вълна; но Моята правда ще пребъде довека и спасението Ми - от родове в родове.

For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool; but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation unto all generations.

9 С ъбуди се, събуди се, облечи се със сила, мишца Господня! Събуди се, както в древните дни, в отдавнашните родове! Не си ли ти, която си съсякла Раав и смъртоносно си пробола змея?

Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of Jehovah; awake, as in the days of old, the generations of ancient times. Is it not thou that didst cut Rahab in pieces, that didst pierce the monster?

10 Н е си ли ти, която си изсушила морето, водите на голямата бездна, и си направила морските дълбочини път за преминаването на изкупените?

Is it not thou that driedst up the sea, the waters of the great deep; that madest the depths of the sea a way for the redeemed to pass over?

11 И зкупените от Господа ще се върнат и ще дойдат с възклицание в Сион; вечно веселие ще бъде на главата им; ще придобият радост и веселие, а скръб и въздишане ще побегнат.

And the ransomed of Jehovah shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

12 А з, Аз съм, Който ви утешавам; кой си ти, че се боиш от смъртен човек и от човешки син, който ще стане като трева;

I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou art afraid of man that shall die, and of the son of man that shall be made as grass;

13 а си забравил Господа, Създателя си, Който разпростря небето и основа̀ земята, и непрестанно всеки ден се боиш от яростта на притеснителя, като че се приготвяше да изтреби? И къде е сега яростта на притеснителя?

and hast forgotten Jehovah thy Maker, that stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and fearest continually all the day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he maketh ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?

14 В ързаният в заточение скоро ще бъде развързан и няма да умре в ямата, нито ще се лиши от хляба си;

The captive exile shall speedily be loosed; and he shall not die and go down into the pit, neither shall his bread fail.

15 з ащото Аз съм Господ, твоят Бог, Който уталожвам морето, когато бучат вълните му; Господ на Силите е името Ми.

For I am Jehovah thy God, who stirreth up the sea, so that the waves thereof roar: Jehovah of hosts is his name.

16 В ложих словата Си в устата ти и те покрих в сянката на ръката Си, за да устроя небето, да основа земята и да кажа на Сион: Ти си Мой народ.

And I have put my words in thy mouth, and have covered thee in the shadow of my hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.

17 С ъбуди се, събуди се, стани, дъще йерусалимска, която си пила от ръката на Господа чашата на яростта Му; пила си и си изпразнила до дъно чашата на омайването.

Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, that hast drunk at the hand of Jehovah the cup of his wrath; thou hast drunken the bowl of the cup of staggering, and drained it.

18 О т всички синове, които е родила, няма кой да я води, нито има между всичките синове, които е отхранила, нито един, който да я държи за ръка.

There is none to guide her among all the sons whom she hath brought forth; neither is there any that taketh her by the hand among all the sons that she hath brought up.

19 Т ези две беди те сполетяха - кой ще те пожали? Разорение и погибел, глад и меч - как да те утеша?

These two things are befallen thee, who shall bemoan thee? desolation and destruction, and the famine and the sword; how shall I comfort thee?

20 С иновете ти примряха; лежат по всички кръстопътища, както антилопа в мрежа; пълни са с яростта Господня, с изобличението на твоя Бог.

Thy sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, as an antelope in a net; they are full of the wrath of Jehovah, the rebuke of thy God.

21 И така, слушай сега това, ти, наскърбена и пияна, но не с вино:

Therefore hear now this, thou afflicted, and drunken, but now with wine:

22 Т ака казва твоят Господ Йехова, твоят Бог, Който защитава делото на народа Си: Ето, взех от ръката ти чашата на омайването, дори до дъно - чашата на яростта Си; ти няма вече да я пиеш.

Thus saith thy Lord Jehovah, and thy God that pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thy hand the cup of staggering, even the bowl of the cup of my wrath; thou shalt no more drink it again:

23 А ще я сложа в ръката на мъчителите ти, които казаха на душата ти: Падни по очи, за да минем над теб; и ти си сложила гърба си като земя и като път за онези, които минават.

and I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee, that have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over; and thou hast laid thy back as the ground, and as the street, to them that go over.
