1 « Di Davide» Fammi giustizia, o Eterno, perché io ho camminato nella mia integrità e ho confidato nell'Eterno senza vacillare.

Judge me, Yahweh, for I have walked in my integrity. I have trusted also in Yahweh without wavering.

2 I nvestigami, o Eterno, e mettimi alla prova; purifica col fuoco la mia mente e il mio cuore.

Examine me, Yahweh, and prove me. Try my heart and my mind.

3 P oiché la tua benignità mi sta davanti agli occhi, e cammino nella tua verità.

For your loving kindness is before my eyes. I have walked in your truth.

4 N on mi siedo con uomini bugiardi e non vado con gli ipocriti.

I have not sat with deceitful men, neither will I go in with hypocrites.

5 I o odio l'Adunanza dei malvagi e non mi associo con gli empi.

I hate the assembly of evildoers, and will not sit with the wicked.

6 I o lavo le mie mani nell'Innocenza vado intorno al tuo altare o Eterno

I will wash my hands in innocence, so I will go about your altar, Yahweh;

7 p er proclamare ad alta voce la tua lode e per raccontare tutte le tue meraviglie.

that I may make the voice of thanksgiving to be heard, and tell of all your wondrous deeds.

8 O Eterno, io amo la dimora della tua casa e il luogo dove risiede la tua gloria.

Yahweh, I love the habitation of your house, the place where your glory dwells.

9 N on mettere l'anima mia assieme ai peccatori e non aggregarmi agli uomini di sangue,

Don’t gather my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloodthirsty men;

10 p erché nelle loro mani ci sono piani malvagi e la loro destra è colma di regali.

in whose hands is wickedness, their right hand is full of bribes.

11 M a io camminerò nella mia integrità, riscattami e abbi pietà di me.

But as for me, I will walk in my integrity. Redeem me, and be merciful to me.

12 I l mio piede sta fermo in luogo piano. Nelle assemblee io benedirò l'Eterno.

My foot stands in an even place. In the congregations I will bless Yahweh.
