My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth.

3 E gli non permetterà che il tuo piede vacilli, colui che ti protegge non sonnecchierà.

He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber.

4 E cco, colui che protegge Israele non sonnecchia e non dorme.

Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 L 'Eterno è colui che ti protegge, l'Eterno è la tua ombra, egli è alla tua destra.

Yahweh is your keeper. Yahweh is your shade on your right hand.

6 D IO giorno il sole non ti colpirà, né la luna di notte.

The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

7 L 'Eterno ti custodirà da ogni male; egli custodirà la tua vita.

Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul.

8 L 'Eterno custodirà il tuo uscire e il tuo entrare ora e sempre.

Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more.
