7 a nd Seth lived after he begat Enosh eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:

8 a nd all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.

23 a nd all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:

24 a nd Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

25 A nd Methuselah lived a hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:

Methuselah visse centottantasette anni e generò Lamek.

26 a nd Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters.

Dopo aver generato Lamek, Methuselah visse settecentottantadue anni e generò figli e figlie.

27 A nd all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.

Così tutto il tempo che Methuselah visse fu di novecentosessantanove anni; poi morì.

28 A nd Lamech lived a hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:

Lamek visse centottantadue anni e generò un figlio;

29 a nd he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, which cometh because of the ground which Jehovah hath cursed.

30 A nd Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:

31 A nd all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.

Così tutto il tempo che Lamek visse fu di settecentosettantasette anni; poi morì.

32 A nd Noah was five hundred years old: And Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Noè, all'eta' di cinquecento anni, generò Sem, Cam e Jafet.
