1 P raise ye Jehovah. Praise, O ye servants of Jehovah, Praise the name of Jehovah.

Sia benedetto il nome dell'Eterno ora e sempre.

3 F rom the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same Jehovah's name is to be praised.

Dal sorgere del sole fino al suo tramonto sia lodato il nome dell'Eterno.

4 J ehovah is high above all nations, And his glory above the heavens.

L'Eterno è eccelso su tutte le nazioni, la sua gloria è al di sopra dei cieli.

5 W ho is like unto Jehovah our God, That hath his seat on high,

Chi è simile all'Eterno, il nostro DIO che abita nei luoghi altissimi.

6 T hat humbleth himself to behold The things that are in heaven and in the earth?

che si abbassa a guardare le cose che sono nei cieli e sulla terra?

7 H e raiseth up the poor out of the dust, And lifteth up the needy from the dunghill;

Egli rialza il misero dalla polvere e solleva il bisognoso dalla spazzatura.

8 T hat he may set him with princes, Even with the princes of his people.

9 H e maketh the barren woman to keep house, And to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye Jehovah.
