1 P raise ye Jehovah. Praise, O ye servants of Jehovah, Praise the name of Jehovah.

Lăudaţi-L pe Domnul! Lăudaţi, slujitori ai Domnului, lăudaţi Numele Domnului!

2 B lessed be the name of Jehovah From this time forth and for evermore.

Numele Domnului să fie binecuvântat, de acum şi până-n veci!

3 F rom the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same Jehovah's name is to be praised.

De la răsăritul soarelui şi până la apusul lui, binecuvântat fie Numele Domnului!

4 J ehovah is high above all nations, And his glory above the heavens.

Domnul este înălţat mai presus de toate neamurile, mai presus de ceruri este slava Lui.

5 W ho is like unto Jehovah our God, That hath his seat on high,

Cine este ca Domnul, Dumnezeul nostru, Cel Ce tronează din înălţime

6 T hat humbleth himself to behold The things that are in heaven and in the earth?

şi totuşi Se apleacă privind spre ceruri şi spre pământ?

7 H e raiseth up the poor out of the dust, And lifteth up the needy from the dunghill;

El îl ridică din pulbere pe cel sărman şi îl înalţă din gunoi pe cel nevoiaş,

8 T hat he may set him with princes, Even with the princes of his people.

ca să-l aşeze la un loc cu cei de neam ales, cu cei de neam ales din poporul Său.

9 H e maketh the barren woman to keep house, And to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye Jehovah.

El îi dă celei sterpe o familie, face din ea o mamă veselă în mijlocul copiilor ei. Lăudaţi-L pe Domnul!
