1 L ăudaţi-L pe Domnul! Lăudaţi, slujitori ai Domnului, lăudaţi Numele Domnului!

Praise ye Jehovah. Praise, O ye servants of Jehovah, Praise the name of Jehovah.

2 N umele Domnului să fie binecuvântat, de acum şi până-n veci!

Blessed be the name of Jehovah From this time forth and for evermore.

3 D e la răsăritul soarelui şi până la apusul lui, binecuvântat fie Numele Domnului!

From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same Jehovah's name is to be praised.

4 D omnul este înălţat mai presus de toate neamurile, mai presus de ceruri este slava Lui.

Jehovah is high above all nations, And his glory above the heavens.

5 C ine este ca Domnul, Dumnezeul nostru, Cel Ce tronează din înălţime

Who is like unto Jehovah our God, That hath his seat on high,

6 ş i totuşi Se apleacă privind spre ceruri şi spre pământ?

That humbleth himself to behold The things that are in heaven and in the earth?

7 E l îl ridică din pulbere pe cel sărman şi îl înalţă din gunoi pe cel nevoiaş,

He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, And lifteth up the needy from the dunghill;

8 c a să-l aşeze la un loc cu cei de neam ales, cu cei de neam ales din poporul Său.

That he may set him with princes, Even with the princes of his people.

9 E l îi dă celei sterpe o familie, face din ea o mamă veselă în mijlocul copiilor ei. Lăudaţi-L pe Domnul!

He maketh the barren woman to keep house, And to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye Jehovah.
