1 V oi cânta îndurarea şi judecata, Ţie Îţi voi cânta, Doamne!

I will sing of lovingkindness and justice: Unto thee, O Jehovah, will I sing praises.

2 V oi fi cu luare aminte la calea integrităţii. Când vei veni la mine? Voi umbla în integritatea inimii mele, în mijlocul casei mele.

I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way: Oh when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

3 N u voi pune nici o nelegiuire înaintea ochilor mei! Urăsc pe cei ce s-au abătut; el nu se va lipi de mine!

I will set no base thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; It shall not cleave unto me.

4 I nima pervertită se va îndepărta de mine. Nu vreau să cunosc răul!

A perverse heart shall depart from me: I will know no evil thing.

5 P e cel ce-şi bârfeşte semenul în ascuns îl voi reduce la tăcere; pe cel cu ochii trufaşi şi cu inima îngâmfată nu-l voi suferi.

Whoso privily slandereth his neighbor, him will I destroy: Him that hath a high look and a proud heart will I not suffer.

6 O chii mei vor fi asupra credincioşilor din ţară, ca ei să locuiască cu mine; cel ce umblă pe calea integrităţii îmi va sluji.

Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: He that walketh in a perfect way, he shall minister unto me.

7 C el ce săvârşeşte înşelăciunea nu va locui în casa mea; cel ce spune minciuni nu va sta în preajma mea.

He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: He that speaketh falsehood shall not be established before mine eyes.

8 Î n fiecare dimineaţă îi voi nimici pe toţi cei răi din ţară, ca să stârpesc din cetatea Domnului pe toţi aceia care săvârşesc nelegiuirea.

Morning by morning will I destroy all the wicked of the land; To cut off all the workers of iniquity from the city of Jehovah.
