Now these were the sons of David, that were born unto him in Hebron: the first-born, Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess; the second, Daniel, of Abigail the Carmelitess;

2 A bsalom, al treilea, fiul Maacăi, fiica lui Talmai, regele Gheşurului; Adonia, al patrulea, fiul Haghitei;

the third, Absalom the son of Maacah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur; the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith;

3 Ş efatia, al cincilea, fiul lui Abital; Itream, al şaselea, fiul soţiei lui David numite Egla;

the fifth, Shephatiah of Abital; the sixth, Ithream by Eglah his wife:

4 ş ase fii i s-au născut la Hebron. El a domnit acolo timp de şapte ani şi şase luni, iar la Ierusalim a domnit timp de treizeci şi trei de ani.

six were born unto him in Hebron; and there he reigned seven years and six months. And in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years;

5 F iii care i s-au născut la Ierusalim au fost: Şamua, Şobab, Natan, Solomon – în total patru – născuţi din Batşeba, fiica lui Amiel,

and these were born unto him in Jerusalem: Shimea, and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four, of Bath-shua the daughter of Ammiel;

6 a poi Ibhar, Elişua, Elifelet,

and Ibhar, and Elishama, and Eliphelet,

7 N ogah, Nefeg, Iafia,

and Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia,

8 E lişama, Eliada şi Elifelet – în total nouă.

and Elishama, and Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine.

9 T oţi aceştia au fost fiii lui David, în afară de fiii născuţi de ţiitoare. Tamar era sora lor. Regii lui Iuda

All these were the sons of David, besides the sons of the concubines; and Tamar was their sister.

10 U rmaşii lui Solomon au fost: Roboam; fiul său, Abia; fiul său, Asa; fiul său, Iehoşafat;

And Solomon's son was Rehoboam, Abijah his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,

11 f iul său, Iehoram; fiul său, Ahazia; fiul său, Ioaş;

Joram his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son,

12 f iul său, Amaţia; fiul său, Azaria; fiul său, Iotam;

Amaziah his son, Azariah his son, Jotham his son,

13 f iul său, Ahaz; fiul său, Ezechia; fiul său, Manase;

Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son,

14 f iul său, Amon; fiul său, Iosia.

Amon his son, Josiah his son.

15 F iii lui Iosia au fost: Iohanan, întâiul lui născut; Iehoiachim, al doilea născut; Zedechia, al treilea născut; Şalum, al patrulea născut.

And the sons of Josiah: the first-born Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum.

16 U rmaşii lui Iehoiachim au fost: fiul său, Iehoiachin, şi fiul acestuia, Zedechia. Urmaşii lui David după exil

And the sons of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, Zedekiah his son.

17 U rmaşii lui Iehoiachin au fost: Asir, – cu fiul lui, Şealtiel, –

And the sons of Jeconiah, the captive: Shealtiel his son,

18 a poi Malchiram, Pedaia, Şenaţar, Iekamia, Hoşama şi Nedabia.

and Malchiram, and Pedaiah, and Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.

19 F iii lui Pedaia au fost: Zerub-Babel şi Şimei. Fiii lui Zerub-Babel au fost: Meşulam şi Hanania, – Şelomit era sora lor, –

And the sons of Pedaiah: Zerubbabel, and Shimei. And the sons of Zerubbabel: Meshullam, and Hananiah; and Shelomith was their sister;

20 a poi Haşuba, Ohel, Berechia, Hasadia şi Iuşab-Hesed – în total cinci.

and Hashubah, and Ohel, and Berechiah, and Hasadiah, Jushab-hesed, five.

21 U rmaşii lui Hanania au fost: Pelatia, Isaia; fiul acestuia din urmă, Refaia; fiul acestuia, Arnan; fiul acestuia, Obadia; fiul acestuia, Şecania.

And the sons of Hananiah: Pelatiah, and Jeshaiah; the sons of Rephaiah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of Obadiah, the sons of Shecaniah.

22 U rmaşii lui Şecania au fost Şemaia şi fiii lui Şemaia: Hatuş, Igal, Bariah, Nearia şi Şafat – în total şase.

And the sons of Shecaniah: Shemaiah. And the sons of Shemaiah: Hattush, and Igal, and Bariah, and Neariah, and Shaphat, six.

23 F iii lui Nearia au fost: Elioenai, Ezechia şi Azrikam – în total trei.

And the sons of Neariah: Elioenai, and Hizkiah, and Azrikam, three.

24 F iii lui Elioenai au fost: Hodaiva, Eliaşib, Pelaia, Akub, Iohanan, Delaia şi Anani – în total şapte.

And the sons of Elioenai: Hodaviah, and Eliashib, and Pelaiah, and Akkub, and Johanan, and Delaiah, and Anani, seven.
