1 F erice de cei integri în căile lor, care umblă după Legea Domnului.

Blessed are they that are perfect in the way, Who walk in the law of Jehovah.

2 F erice de cei ce păzesc mărturiile Lui şi-L caută din toată inima:

Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, That seek him with the whole heart.

3 a ceia nu săvârşesc nici o nedreptate şi umblă pe căile Lui.

Yea, they do no unrighteousness; They walk in his ways.

4 T u ne -ai dat orânduirile Tale, ca să fie păzite cu scumpătate.

Thou hast commanded us thy precepts, That we should observe them diligently.

5 O , de-ar ţinti căile mele să păzească orânduirile Tale!

Oh that my ways were established To observe thy statutes!

6 C ând urmez poruncile Tale, nu mă ruşinez.

Then shall I not be put to shame, When I have respect unto all thy commandments.

7 C ând voi ajunge să cunosc judecăţile Tale cele drepte, Te voi lăuda în curăţie de inimă.

I will give thanks unto thee with uprightness of heart, When I learn thy righteous judgments.

8 V oi păzi orânduirile Tale: nu mă părăsi de tot!

I will observe thy statutes: Oh forsake me not utterly. BETH.

9 C um îşi va păstra tânărul curată cărarea? Păzind Cuvântul Tău.

Wherewith shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed thereto according to thy word.

10 T e caut din toată inima mea: nu mă lăsa să mă abat de la poruncile Tale!

With my whole heart have I sought thee: Oh let me not wander from thy commandments.

11 S trâng cuvintele Tale în inima mea, ca să nu păcătuiesc împotriva Ta.

Thy word have I laid up in my heart, That I might not sin against thee.

12 B inecuvântat să fii Tu, Doamne! Învaţă-mă orânduirile Tale!

Blessed art thou, O Jehovah: Teach me thy statutes.

13 B uzele mele vestesc toate judecăţile rostite de gura Ta.

With my lips have I declared All the ordinances of thy mouth.

14 C ând împlinesc mărturiile Tale, mă bucur de parcă aş avea toate bogăţiile.

I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, As much as in all riches.

15 C uget la hotărârile Tale şi dau atenţie căilor Tale.

I will meditate on thy precepts, And have respect unto thy ways.

16 Î mi găsesc plăcerea în orânduirile Tale; nu voi uita Cuvântul Tău!

I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word. GIMEL.

17 R ăsplăteşte-i robului Tău cu viaţă şi voi păzi Cuvântul Tău!

Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live; So will I observe thy word.

18 D eschide-mi ochii, ca să văd minunile din Legea Ta!

Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold Wondrous things out of thy law.

19 E u sunt doar un străin pe pământ: nu-Ţi ascunde de mine poruncile Tale!

I am a sojourner in the earth: Hide not thy commandments from me.

20 S ufletul mi se topeşte de dor după judecăţile Tale, tot timpul.

My soul breaketh for the longing That it hath unto thine ordinances at all times.

21 T u-i mustri pe cei îngâmfaţi, pe cei blestemaţi, pe cei ce se rătăcesc de la poruncile Tale.

Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, That do wander from thy commandments.

22 Î ndepărtează de la mine ocara şi dispreţul, căci păzesc mărturiile Tale!

Take away from me reproach and contempt; For I have kept thy testimonies.

23 P rinţii stau şi vorbesc împotriva mea, dar robul Tău cugetă la orânduirile Tale.

Princes also sat and talked against me; But thy servant did meditate on thy statutes.

24 M ărturiile Tale sunt desfătarea mea, sunt sfetnicii mei.

Thy testimonies also are my delight And my counsellors. DALETH.

25 S ufletul meu este lipit de ţărână: înviorează-mă, după Cuvântul Tău!

My soul cleaveth unto the dust: Quicken thou me according to thy word.

26 M i-am cercetat căile şi Tu mi-ai răspuns: învaţă-mă orânduirile Tale!

I declared my ways, and thou answeredst me: Teach me thy statutes.

27 D eprinde-mă cu hotărârile Tale şi voi cugeta la minunile Tale!

Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: So shall I meditate on thy wondrous works.

28 S ufletul îmi plânge de întristare: ridică-mă, după Cuvântul Tău!

My soul melteth for heaviness: Strengthen thou me according unto thy word.

29 Ţ ine-mă departe de calea înşelăciunii; binevoieşte să mă înveţi Legea Ta!

Remove from me the way of falsehood; And grant me thy law graciously.

30 A leg calea credincioşiei; accept judecăţile tale.

I have chosen the way of faithfulness: Thine ordinances have I set before me.

31 M ă alipesc de mărturiile Tale: Doamne, nu mă lăsa să fiu dat de ruşine!

I cleave unto thy testimonies: O Jehovah, put me not to shame.

32 A lerg pe calea poruncilor Tale, căci Tu dai alinare inimii mele.

I will run the way of thy commandments, When thou shalt enlarge my heart. HE.

33 Î nvaţă-mă, Doamne, să trăiesc după orânduirile Tale, şi le voi respecta până la sfârşitul vieţii!

Teach me, O Jehovah, the way of thy statutes; And I shall keep it unto the end.

34 D ă-mi pricepere şi voi respecta Legea Ta, o voi păzi din toată inima mea!

Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; Yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

35 C ondu-mă pe cărarea poruncilor Tale, căci în aceasta îmi găsesc plăcerea!

Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; For therein do I delight.

36 A pleacă-mi inima spre mărturiile Tale şi nu spre câştigul mârşav!

Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, And not to covetousness.

37 A bate-mi privirea de la vederea lucrurilor deşarte; înviorează-mă pe calea Ta!

Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity, And quicken me in thy ways.

38 Î mplineşte-Ţi promisiunea făcută robului Tău şi celor ce se tem de Tine!

Confirm unto thy servant thy word, Which is in order unto the fear of thee.

39 D epărtează de la mine ocara ce mă-nspăimântă, căci judecăţile Tale sunt bune!

Turn away my reproach whereof I am afraid; For thine ordinances are good.

40 O , cât de mult tânjesc după hotărârile Tale: înviorează-mă după dreptatea Ta!

Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: Quicken me in thy righteousness. VAV.

41 S ă vină, Doamne, peste mine marea Ta îndurare şi mântuirea Ta din pricina promisiunii Tale!

Let thy lovingkindnesses also come unto me, O Jehovah, Even thy salvation, according to thy word.

42 A tunci îi voi putea răspunde celui ce mă ocărăşte, căci mă încred în Cuvântul Tău.

So shall I have an answer for him that reproacheth me; For I trust in thy word.

43 N u mă lăsa fără Cuvântul cel adevărat în gura mea, căci nădăjduiesc în judecăţile Tale!

And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; For I have hoped in thine ordinances.

44 V oi păzi Legea Ta întotdeauna şi pentru veci de veci!

So shall I observe thy law continually For ever and ever.

45 V oi umbla liber, căci caut hotărârile Tale.

And I shall walk at liberty; For I have sought thy precepts.

46 V oi vesti mărturiile Tale înaintea regilor şi nu mă voi ruşina.

I will also speak of thy testimonies before kings, And shall not be put to shame.

47 M ă voi desfăta cu poruncile Tale, pe care le iubesc.

And I will delight myself in thy commandments, Which I have loved.

48 Î mi ridic mâinile spre poruncile Tale, pe care le iubesc, şi cuget la orânduirile Tale.

I will lift up my hands also unto thy commandments, which I have loved; And I will meditate on thy statutes. ZAYIN.

49 A minteşte-Ţi de cuvântul spus robului Tău, în care m-ai făcut să nădăjduiesc!

Remember the word unto thy servant, Because thou hast made me to hope.

50 I ată ce-mi aduce mângâiere în suferinţă: promisiunea Ta care mă înviorează.

This is my comfort in my affliction; For thy word hath quickened me.

51 M ult mă mai batjocoresc cei mândri, dar eu nu mă abat de la Legea Ta.

The proud have had me greatly in derision: Yet have I not swerved from thy law.

52 Î mi amintesc de judecăţile Tale din vechime şi sunt mângâiat.

I have remembered thine ordinances of old, O Jehovah, And have comforted myself.

53 S unt cuprins de furie la vederea celor răi, a celor ce au părăsit Legea Ta.

Hot indignation hath taken hold upon me, Because of the wicked that forsake thy law.

54 Î n casa pribegiei mele mi-am făcut din orânduirile Tale cântări.

Thy statutes have been my songs In the house of my pilgrimage.

55 N oaptea îmi amintesc Numele Tău, Doamne! Voi păzi Legea Ta!

I have remembered thy name, O Jehovah, in the night, And have observed thy law.

56 A şa-mi doresc să fie, căci împlinesc hotărârile Tale.

This I have had, Because I have kept thy precepts. HHETH.

57 D oamne, Tu eşti moştenirea mea: am promis că voi păzi cuvintele Tale!

Jehovah is my portion: I have said that I would observe thy words.

58 T e rog din toată inima mea, îndură-te de mine, după promisiunea Ta!

I entreated thy favor with my whole heart: Be merciful unto me according to thy word.

59 C uget la căile mele, îmi îndrept paşii spre mărturiile Tale.

I thought on my ways, And turned my feet unto thy testimonies.

60 M ă grăbesc şi nu întârzii să împlinesc poruncile Tale.

I made haste, and delayed not, To observe thy commandments.

61 F uniile celor răi m-au înconjurat, dar eu nu uit Legea Ta.

The cords of the wicked have wrapped me round; But I have not forgotten thy law.

62 L a miezul nopţii mă trezesc să-Ţi aduc laude, din pricina judecăţilor Tale cele drepte.

At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee Because of thy righteous ordinances.

63 E u sunt prieten cu toţi cei ce se tem de Tine şi păzesc hotărârile Tale.

I am a companion of all them that fear thee, And of them that observe thy precepts.

64 D oamne, îndurarea Ta umple pământul: învaţă-mă orânduirile Tale!

The earth, O Jehovah, is full of thy lovingkindness: Teach me thy statutes. TETH.

65 T u faci bine robului Tău, Doamne, după Cuvântul Tău.

Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O Jehovah, according unto thy word.

66 Î nvaţă-mă să am cunoaştere şi pricepere, căci mă încred în poruncile Tale!

Teach me good judgment and knowledge; For I have believed in thy commandments.

67 Î nainte să fiu smerit, eu rătăceam; acum însă păzesc cuvintele Tale.

Before I was afflicted I went astray; But now I observe thy word.

68 T u eşti bun şi faci bine: învaţă-mă orânduirile Tale!

Thou art good, and doest good; Teach me thy statutes.

69 N işte îngâmfaţi m-au tencuit cu neadevăruri, dar eu împlinesc hotărârile Tale din toată inima.

The proud have forged a lie against me: With my whole heart will I keep thy precepts.

70 I nima lor este nesimţitoare ca grăsimea, dar eu îmi găsesc desfătarea în Legea Ta.

Their heart is as fat as grease; But I delight in thy law.

71 E bine că m-ai smerit, pentru că astfel am putut învăţa orânduirile Tale.

It is good for me that I have been afflicted; That I may learn thy statutes.

72 M ai mult preţuieşte pentru mine Legea gurii Tale, decât mii de şecheli de aur şi de argint.

The law of thy mouth is better unto me Than thousands of gold and silver. YODH.

73 M âinile Tale m-au făcut şi m-au întocmit. De aceea, dă-mi pricepere ca să pot învăţa poruncile Tale!

Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: Give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.

74 C ei ce se tem de Tine mă privesc şi se bucură, căci aştept împlinirea Cuvântului Tău.

They that fear thee shall see me and be glad, Because I have hoped in thy word.

75 D oamne, recunosc că judecăţile Tale sunt drepte şi că din credincioşie m-ai smerit.

I know, O Jehovah, that thy judgments are righteous, And that in faithfulness thou hast afflicted me.

76 F ă-mi parte de îndurarea Ta, pentru a fi mângâiat, după promisiunea pe care ai făcut-o robului Tău.

Let, I pray thee, thy lovingkindness be for my comfort, According to thy word unto thy servant.

77 S ă vină peste mine îndurările Tale şi voi trăi, căci îmi găsesc desfătarea în Legea Ta!

Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live; For thy law is my delight.

78 S ă fie făcuţi de râs cei îngâmfaţi, căci m-au defăimat prin minciuni! Cât despre mine, eu voi cugeta la hotărârile Tale!

Let the proud be put to shame; For they have overthrown me wrongfully: But I will meditate on thy precepts.

79 S ă se întoarcă spre mine cei ce se tem de Tine şi cei ce cunosc mărturiile Tale!

Let those that fear thee turn unto me; And they shall know thy testimonies.

80 F ie-mi inima integră în orânduirile Tale, şi atunci nu voi fi dat de ruşine!

Let my heart be perfect in thy statutes, That I be not put to shame. KAPH.

81 S ufletul meu tânjeşte după mântuirea Ta, aşteptând împlinirea Cuvântului Tău.

My soul fainteth for thy salvation; But I hope in thy word.

82 O chii îmi tânjesc după Tine, zicând: „Când mă vei mângâia?“

Mine eyes fail for thy word, While I say, When wilt thou comfort me?

83 D eşi am ajuns ca un burduf de vin în fum, eu tot nu voi părăsi orânduirile Tale.

For I am become like a wine-skin in the smoke; Yet do I not forget thy statutes.

84 C âte zile să mai aştepte robul Tău până îmi vei judeca prigonitorii?

How many are the days of thy servant? When wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?

85 C ei îngâmfaţi mi-au săpat gropi; ei nu lucrează după Legea Ta.

The proud have digged pits for me, Who are not according to thy law.

86 T oate poruncile Tale sunt demne de încredere! Ei mă prigonesc cu minciuni. Scapă-mă!

All thy commandments are faithful: They persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.

87 A proape că m-au prăpădit de pe pământ, dar eu nu părăsesc hotărârile Tale!

They had almost consumed me upon earth; But I forsook not thy precepts. LAMEDH.

88 Î nviorează-mă după îndurarea Ta, şi voi păzi mărturia gurii Tale!

Quicken me after thy lovingkindness; So shall I observe the testimony of thy mouth.

89 C uvântul Tău, Doamne, dăinuie pe vecie în ceruri.

For ever, O Jehovah, Thy word is settled in heaven.

90 C redincioşia Ta dăinuie de la o generaţie la alta; Tu ai întemeiat pământul şi el aşa rămâne.

Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: Thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.

91 A stăzi totul dăinuie prin judecăţile Tale, căci fiecare lucru Îţi este supus.

They abide this day according to thine ordinances; For all things are thy servants.

92 D acă Legea Ta nu ar fi desfătarea mea, aş pieri în suferinţa mea.

Unless thy law had been my delight, I should then have perished in mine affliction.

93 N iciodată nu voi uita hotărârile Tale, căci prin ele mă înviorezi.

I will never forget thy precepts; For with them thou hast quickened me.

94 S unt al Tău: mântuieşte-mă, căci eu caut să trăiesc după hotărârile Tale!

I am thine, save me; For I have sought thy precepts.

95 C ei răi mă aşteaptă ca să mă nimicească; eu însă iau aminte la mărturiile Tale.

The wicked have waited for me, to destroy me; But I will consider thy testimonies. MEM.

96 V ăd că tot ce este desăvârşit are un sfârşit; porunca Ta însă este de necuprins.

I have seen an end of all perfection; But thy commandment is exceeding broad.

97 C e mult iubesc eu Legea Ta! Toată ziua ea este desfătarea mea!

Oh how love I thy law! It is my meditation all the day.

98 P orunca Ta mă face mai înţelept decât duşmanii mei, căci întotdeauna aceasta este cu mine.

Thy commandments make me wiser than mine enemies; For they are ever with me.

99 S unt mai înţelept decât toţi învăţătorii mei, căci cuget la mărturiile Tale.

I have more understanding than all my teachers; For thy testimonies are my meditation.

100 S unt mai priceput decât cei cărunţi, căci împlinesc hotărârile Tale.

I understand more than the aged, Because I have kept thy precepts.

101 Î mi feresc picioarele de orice cale rea, ca să păzesc Cuvântul Tău.

I have refrained my feet from every evil way, That I might observe thy word.

102 N u mă îndepărtez de judecăţile Tale, căci Tu mă îndrumi.

I have not turned aside from thine ordinances; For thou hast taught me.

103 C e dulci sunt cuvintele Tale pentru cerul gurii mele, mai dulci decât mierea pentru gura mea.

How sweet are thy words unto my taste! Yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

104 S unt priceput din pricina hotărârilor Tale. De aceea urăsc toate cărările înşelătoare.

Through thy precepts I get understanding: Therefore I hate every false way. NUN.

105 C uvântul Tău este o candelă pentru picioarele mele şi o lumină pe cărarea mea.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And light unto my path.

106 A m jurat, şi voi împlini întocmai, că voi păzi judecăţile Tale cele drepte.

I have sworn, and have confirmed it, That I will observe thy righteous ordinances.

107 S unt atât de mâhnit: Doamne, înviorează-mă după Cuvântul Tău!

I am afflicted very much: Quicken me, O Jehovah, according unto thy word.

108 D oamne, primeşte ofranda gurii mele şi învaţă-mă judecăţile Tale!

Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill-offerings of my mouth, O Jehovah, And teach me thine ordinances.

109 M i-am pus viaţa în primejdie, dar nu voi părăsi Legea Ta!

My soul is continually in my hand; Yet do I not forget thy law.

110 C ei răi mi-au întins curse, dar eu nu mă voi rătăci de la hotărârile Tale.

The wicked have laid a snare for me; Yet have I not gone astray from thy precepts.

111 A m moştenit mărturiile Tale pe vecie, pentru că ele sunt bucuria inimii mele.

Thy testimonies have I taken as a heritage for ever; For they are the rejoicing of my heart.

112 M i-am dedicat inima ca să înfăptuiesc orânduirile Tale pentru totdeauna, până la sfârşit.

I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes For ever, even unto the end. SAMEKH.

113 Î i urăsc pe cei nestatornici, dar iubesc Legea Ta.

I hate them that are of a double mind; But thy law do I love.

114 T u eşti adăpostul şi scutul meu şi aştept să se împlinească Cuvântul Tău.

Thou art my hiding-place and my shield: I hope in thy word.

115 D epărtaţi-vă de mine, răufăcătorilor, ca să pot împlini poruncile Dumnezeului meu!

Depart from me, ye evil-doers, That I may keep the commandments of my God.

116 S prijină-mă după promisiunea Ta şi voi fi înviorat; nu mă da de ruşine din pricina nădejdii mele!

Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live; And let me not be ashamed of my hope.

117 Î ntăreşte-mă ca să fiu izbăvit, şi să privesc neîncetat la orânduirile Tale!

Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe, And shall have respect unto thy statutes continually.

118 T u-i îndepărtezi pe cei ce se rătăcesc de la orânduirile Tale, căci înşelătoria lor este zadarnică.

Thou hast set at nought all them that err from thy statutes; For their deceit is falsehood.

119 T u-i îndepărtezi pe cei răi de pe pământ ca pe zgură. De aceea iubesc eu mărturiile Tale.

Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: Therefore I love thy testimonies.

120 M i se înfioară carnea din pricina groazei Tale şi mă tem din pricina judecăţilor Tale.

My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; And I am afraid of thy judgments. AYIN.

121 J udec cu dreptate: nu mă da pe mâna asupritorilor mei!

I have done justice and righteousness: Leave me not to mine oppressors.

122 I a apărarea robului Tău, ca să nu mă mai asuprească cei îngâmfaţi!

Be surety for thy servant for good: Let not the proud oppress me.

123 M i se topesc ochii după mântuirea Ta şi după promisiunea Ta cea dreaptă.

Mine eyes fail for thy salvation, And for thy righteous word.

124 P oartă-te cu robul Tău după îndurarea Ta şi învaţă-mă orânduirile Tale!

Deal with thy servant according unto thy lovingkindness, And teach me thy statutes.

125 E u sunt robul Tău: învaţă-mă, şi voi cunoaşte mărturiile Tale!

I am thy servant; give me understanding, That I may know thy testimonies.

126 D oamne, este vremea să lucrezi, căci au încălcat Legea Ta.

It is time for Jehovah to work; For they have made void thy law.

127 P entru că iubesc poruncile Tale mai mult decât aurul şi argintul

Therefore I love thy commandments Above gold, yea, above fine gold.

128 ş i pentru că găsesc pe deplin drepte toate hotărârile Tale, de aceea urăsc toate cărările înşelătoare.

Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; And I hate every false way. PE.

129 M inunate sunt mărturiile Tale, de aceea sufletul meu le împlineşte.

Thy testimonies are wonderful; Therefore doth my soul keep them.

130 D ezvăluirea cuvintelor Tale aduce lumină şi dă pricepere celor neştiutori.

The opening of thy words giveth light; It giveth understanding unto the simple.

131 Î mi deschid gura şi oftez, căci tânjesc după poruncile Tale.

I opened wide my mouth, and panted; For I longed for thy commandments.

132 Î ntoarce-Te spre mine şi îndură-te de mine, după obiceiul Tău faţă de cei ce iubesc Numele Tău.

Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me, As thou usest to do unto those that love thy name.

133 Î ntăreşte-mi paşii după cuvintele Tale şi nu mă lăsa în stăpânirea vreunui necaz.

Establish my footsteps in thy word; And let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

134 I zbăveşte-mă de sub asuprirea omului şi-Ţi voi păzi hotărârile!

Redeem me from the oppression of man: So will I observe thy precepts.

135 F ă să lumineze faţa Ta peste robul Tău şi învaţă-mă orânduirile Tale.

Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; And teach me thy statutes.

136 O chii îmi varsă şiroaie de lacrimi, fiindcă oamenii nu păzesc Legea Ta.

Streams of water run down mine eyes, Because they observe not thy law. TSADHE.

137 D oamne, Tu eşti drept, iar judecăţile Tale sunt drepte!

Righteous art thou, O Jehovah, And upright are thy judgments.

138 T u porunceşti, iar mărturiile Tale sunt drepte şi pline de credincioşie!

Thou hast commanded thy testimonies in righteousness And very faithfulness.

139 S unt mistuit de râvnă, pentru că duşmanii mei uită cuvintele Tale.

My zeal hath consumed me, Because mine adversaries have forgotten thy words.

140 C uvintele Tale sunt bine încercate şi robul Tău le iubeşte.

Thy word is very pure; Therefore thy servant loveth it.

141 E u sunt mic şi neînsemnat, dar nu dau uitării hotărârile Tale.

I am small and despised; Yet do I not forget thy precepts.

142 D reptatea Ta rămâne dreptate pe vecie, şi Legea Ta rămâne adevărată.

Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, And thy law is truth.

143 E u am parte numai de necaz şi de strâmtorare, însă poruncile Tale rămân desfătarea mea.

Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me; Yet thy commandments are my delight.

144 M ărturiile Tale rămân drepte pe vecie. Dă-mi pricepere, ca să pot trăi!

Thy testimonies are righteous for ever: Give me understanding, and I shall live. QOPH.

145 S trig din toată inima; răspunde-mi, Doamne! Voi împlini orânduirile Tale.

I have called with my whole heart; answer me, O Jehovah: I will keep thy statutes.

146 T e chem; mântuieşte-mă, iar eu voi păzi mărturiile Tale.

I have called unto thee; save me, And I shall observe thy testimonies.

147 M ă trezesc înaintea zorilor ca să strig la Tine şi aştept să se împlinească cuvintele Tale.

I anticipated the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy words.

148 O chii îmi stau deschişi în timpul străjilor nopţii ca să cuget la cuvintele Tale.

Mine eyes anticipated the night-watches, That I might meditate on thy word.

149 A scultă-mi glasul, după bunătatea Ta, Doamne, după judecăţile Tale, înviorează-mă!

Hear my voice according unto thy lovingkindness: Quicken me, O Jehovah, according to thine ordinances.

150 S e apropie cei ce urmăresc nelegiuirea; ei s-au depărtat de Legea Ta.

They draw nigh that follow after wickedness; They are far from thy law.

151 D oamne, Tu eşti aproape, iar toate poruncile Tale sunt adevărate.

Thou art nigh, O Jehovah; And all thy commandments are truth.

152 C u mult timp în urmă am aflat de mărturiile Tale, căci le-ai statornicit pe vecie.

Of old have I known from thy testimonies, That thou hast founded them for ever. RESH.

153 I a aminte la necazul meu şi salvează-mă, căci nu am dat uitării Legea Ta!

Consider mine affliction, and deliver me; For I do not forget thy law.

154 A pără-mi pricina şi răscumpără-mă! Îndură-te de mine după promisiunea Ta!

Plead thou my cause, and redeem me: Quicken me according to thy word.

155 M ântuirea este departe de cei răi, deoarece ei nu caută să împlinească orânduirile Tale.

Salvation is far from the wicked; For they seek not thy statutes.

156 D oamne, multe sunt îndurările Tale! Înviorează-mă după judecăţile Tale!

Great are thy tender mercies, O Jehovah: Quicken me according to thine ordinances.

157 M ulţi sunt şi prigonitorii, şi duşmanii mei, dar de la mărturiile Tale eu tot nu mă abat!

Many are my persecutors and mine adversaries; Yet have I not swerved from thy testimonies.

158 M ă uit cu scârbă la cei necredincioşi, la cei ce nu păzesc cuvintele Tale.

I beheld the treacherous, and was grieved, Because they observe not thy word.

159 I a aminte, căci iubesc hotărârile Tale! Doamne, înviorează-mă după îndurarea Ta!

Consider how I love thy precepts: Quicken me, O Jehovah, according to thy lovingkindness.

160 N atura Cuvântului Tău este adevărul şi fiecare judecată a Ta este dreaptă pe vecie!

The sum of thy word is truth; And every one of thy righteous ordinances endureth for ever. SHIN.

161 N işte prinţi mă prigonesc pe nedrept, dar inima mea tremură doar la Cuvântul Tău!

Princes have persecuted me without a cause; But my heart standeth in awe of thy words.

162 E u mă bucur de cuvintele Tale ca cel ce a găsit multă pradă.

I rejoice at thy word, As one that findeth great spoil.

163 U răsc înşelătoria, n-o pot suferi, dar iubesc Legea Ta!

I hate and abhor falsehood; But thy law do I love.

164 T e laud de şapte ori pe zi, din pricina judecăţilor Tale celor drepte.

Seven times a day do I praise thee, Because of thy righteous ordinances.

165 C ei ce iubesc Legea Ta au parte de multă pace şi nimic nu îi poate face să se împiedice.

Great peace have they that love thy law; And they have no occasion of stumbling.

166 D oamne, nădăjduiesc în mântuirea Ta, împlinind poruncile Tale.

I have hoped for thy salvation, O Jehovah, And have done thy commandments.

167 S ufletul meu păzeşte mărturiile Tale şi le iubeşte mult.

My soul hath observed thy testimonies; And I love them exceedingly.

168 P ăzesc hotărârile şi mărturiile Tale, căci toate căile mele sunt înaintea Ta.

I have observed thy precepts and thy testimonies; For all my ways are before thee. TAV.

169 D oamne, fie ca strigătul meu să ajungă până la Tine: „Dă-mi pricepere după Cuvântul Tău!“

Let my cry come near before thee, O Jehovah: Give me understanding according to thy word.

170 F ie ca ruga mea să ajungă până la Tine: „Izbăveşte-mă după promisiunea Ta!“

Let my supplication come before thee: Deliver me according to thy word.

171 B uzele mele Te vor lăuda, căci m-ai învăţat orânduirile Tale!

Let my lips utter praise; For thou teachest me thy statutes.

172 L imba mea va cânta cuvintele Tale, căci toate poruncile Tale sunt drepte.

Let my tongue sing of thy word; For all thy commandments are righteousness.

173 M âna Ta să-mi vină în ajutor, căci hotărârile Tale le aleg.

Let thy hand be ready to help me; For I have chosen thy precepts.

174 D oamne, tânjesc după mântuirea Ta, iar Legea Ta este desfătarea mea.

I have longed for thy salvation, O Jehovah; And thy law is my delight.

175 F ie ca sufletul meu să trăiască şi atunci Te va lăuda, iar judecăţile Tale mă vor sprijini la aceasta.

Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; And let thine ordinances help me.

176 R ătăcesc ca o oaie pierdută! Caută-l pe robul Tău, căci eu nu am uitat poruncile Tale!

I have gone astray like a lost sheep; Seek thy servant; For I do not forget thy commandments.
