Blessed are they that are perfect in the way, Who walk in the law of Jehovah.

2 B em-aventurados os que guardam os seus testemunhos, que o buscam de todo o coração,

Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, That seek him with the whole heart.

3 q ue não praticam iniqüidade, mas andam nos caminhos dele!

Yea, they do no unrighteousness; They walk in his ways.

4 T u ordenaste os teus preceitos, para que fossem diligentemente observados.

Thou hast commanded us thy precepts, That we should observe them diligently.

5 O xalá sejam os meus caminhos dirigidos de maneira que eu observe os teus estatutos!

Oh that my ways were established To observe thy statutes!

6 E ntão não ficarei confundido, atentando para todos os teus mandamentos.

Then shall I not be put to shame, When I have respect unto all thy commandments.

7 L ouvar-te-ei com retidão de coração, quando tiver aprendido as tuas retas ordenanças.

I will give thanks unto thee with uprightness of heart, When I learn thy righteous judgments.

8 O bservarei os teus estatutos; não me desampares totalmente!

I will observe thy statutes: Oh forsake me not utterly. BETH.

9 C omo purificará o jovem o seu caminho? Observando-o de acordo com a tua palavra.

Wherewith shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed thereto according to thy word.

10 D e todo o meu coração tenho te buscado; não me deixes desviar dos teus mandamentos.

With my whole heart have I sought thee: Oh let me not wander from thy commandments.

11 E scondi a tua palavra no meu coração, para não pecar contra ti.

Thy word have I laid up in my heart, That I might not sin against thee.

12 B endito és tu, ó Senhor; ensina-me os teus estatutos.

Blessed art thou, O Jehovah: Teach me thy statutes.

13 C om os meus lábios declaro todas as ordenanças da tua boca.

With my lips have I declared All the ordinances of thy mouth.

14 R egozijo-me no caminho dos teus testemunhos, tanto como em todas as riquezas.

I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, As much as in all riches.

15 E m teus preceitos medito, e observo os teus caminhos.

I will meditate on thy precepts, And have respect unto thy ways.

16 D eleitar-me-ei nos teus estatutos; não me esquecerei da tua palavra.

I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word. GIMEL.

17 F aze bem ao teu servo, para que eu viva; assim observarei a tua palavra.

Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live; So will I observe thy word.

18 D esvenda os meus olhos, para que eu veja as maravilhas da tua lei.

Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold Wondrous things out of thy law.

19 S ou peregrino na terra; não escondas de mim os teus mandamentos.

I am a sojourner in the earth: Hide not thy commandments from me.

20 A minha alma se consome de anelos por tuas ordenanças em todo o tempo.

My soul breaketh for the longing That it hath unto thine ordinances at all times.

21 T u repreendeste os soberbos, os malditos, que se desviam dos teus mandamentos.

Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, That do wander from thy commandments.

22 T ira de sobre mim o opróbrio e o desprezo, pois tenho guardado os teus testemunhos.

Take away from me reproach and contempt; For I have kept thy testimonies.

23 P ríncipes sentaram-se e falavam contra mim, mas o teu servo meditava nos teus estatutos.

Princes also sat and talked against me; But thy servant did meditate on thy statutes.

24 O s teus testemunhos são o meu prazer e os meus conselheiros.

Thy testimonies also are my delight And my counsellors. DALETH.

25 A minha alma apega-se ao pó; vivifica-me segundo a tua palavra.

My soul cleaveth unto the dust: Quicken thou me according to thy word.

26 M eus caminhos te descrevi, e tu me ouviste; ensina-me os teus estatutos.

I declared my ways, and thou answeredst me: Teach me thy statutes.

27 F aze-me entender o caminho dos teus preceitos; assim meditarei nas tuas maravilhas.

Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: So shall I meditate on thy wondrous works.

28 A minha alma se consome de tristeza; fortalece-me segundo a tua palavra.

My soul melteth for heaviness: Strengthen thou me according unto thy word.

29 D esvia de mim o caminho da falsidade, e ensina-me benignidade a tua lei.

Remove from me the way of falsehood; And grant me thy law graciously.

30 E scolhi o caminho da fidelidade; diante de mim pus as tuas ordenanças.

I have chosen the way of faithfulness: Thine ordinances have I set before me.

31 A pego-me aos teus testemunhos, ó Senhor; não seja eu envergonhado.

I cleave unto thy testimonies: O Jehovah, put me not to shame.

32 P ercorrerei o caminho dos teus mandamentos, quando dilatares o meu coração.

I will run the way of thy commandments, When thou shalt enlarge my heart. HE.

33 E nsina-me, ó Senhor, o caminho dos teus estatutos, e eu o guardarei até o fim.

Teach me, O Jehovah, the way of thy statutes; And I shall keep it unto the end.

34 D á-me entendimento, para que eu guarde a tua lei, e a observe de todo o meu coração.

Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; Yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

35 F aze-me andar na vereda dos teus mandamentos, porque nela me comprazo.

Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; For therein do I delight.

36 I nclina o meu coração para os teus testemunhos, e não para a cobiça.

Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, And not to covetousness.

37 D esvia os meus olhos de contemplarem a vaidade, e vivifica-me no teu caminho.

Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity, And quicken me in thy ways.

38 C onfirma a tua promessa ao teu servo, que se inclina ao teu temor.

Confirm unto thy servant thy word, Which is in order unto the fear of thee.

39 D esvia de mim o opróbrio que temo, pois as tuas ordenanças são boas.

Turn away my reproach whereof I am afraid; For thine ordinances are good.

40 E is que tenho anelado os teus preceitos; vivifica-me por tua justiça.

Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: Quicken me in thy righteousness. VAV.

41 V enha também sobre mim a tua benignidade, ó Senhor, e a tua salvação, segundo a tua palavra.

Let thy lovingkindnesses also come unto me, O Jehovah, Even thy salvation, according to thy word.

42 A ssim terei o que responder ao que me afronta, pois confio na tua palavra.

So shall I have an answer for him that reproacheth me; For I trust in thy word.

43 D e minha boca não tires totalmente a palavra da verdade, pois tenho esperado nos teus juízos.

And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; For I have hoped in thine ordinances.

44 A ssim observarei de contínuo a tua lei, para sempre e eternamente;

So shall I observe thy law continually For ever and ever.

45 e andarei em liberdade, pois tenho buscado os teus preceitos.

And I shall walk at liberty; For I have sought thy precepts.

46 F alarei dos teus testemunhos perante os reis, e não me envergonharei.

I will also speak of thy testimonies before kings, And shall not be put to shame.

47 D eleitar-me-ei em teus mandamentos, que eu amo.

And I will delight myself in thy commandments, Which I have loved.

48 T ambém levantarei as minhas mãos para os teus mandamentos, que amo, e meditarei nos teus estatutos.

I will lift up my hands also unto thy commandments, which I have loved; And I will meditate on thy statutes. ZAYIN.

49 L embra-te da palavra dada ao teu servo, na qual me fizeste esperar.

Remember the word unto thy servant, Because thou hast made me to hope.

50 I sto é a minha consolação na minha angústia, que a tua promessa me vivifica.

This is my comfort in my affliction; For thy word hath quickened me.

51 O s soberbos zombaram grandemente de mim; contudo não me desviei da tua lei.

The proud have had me greatly in derision: Yet have I not swerved from thy law.

52 L embro-me dos teus juízos antigos, ó Senhor, e assim me consolo.

I have remembered thine ordinances of old, O Jehovah, And have comforted myself.

53 G rande indignação apoderou-se de mim, por causa dos ímpios que abandonam a tua lei.

Hot indignation hath taken hold upon me, Because of the wicked that forsake thy law.

54 O s teus estatutos têm sido os meus cânticos na casa da minha peregrinação.

Thy statutes have been my songs In the house of my pilgrimage.

55 D e noite me lembrei do teu nome, ó Senhor, e observei a tua lei.

I have remembered thy name, O Jehovah, in the night, And have observed thy law.

56 I sto me sucedeu, porque tenho guardado os teus preceitos.

This I have had, Because I have kept thy precepts. HHETH.

57 O Senhor é o meu quinhão; prometo observar as tuas palavras.

Jehovah is my portion: I have said that I would observe thy words.

58 D e todo o meu coração imploro o teu favor; tem piedade de mim, segundo a tua palavra.

I entreated thy favor with my whole heart: Be merciful unto me according to thy word.

59 Q uando considero os meus caminhos, volto os meus pés para os teus testemunhos.

I thought on my ways, And turned my feet unto thy testimonies.

60 A presso-me sem detença a observar os teus mandamentos.

I made haste, and delayed not, To observe thy commandments.

61 E nleiam-me os laços dos ímpios; mas eu não me esqueço da tua lei.

The cords of the wicked have wrapped me round; But I have not forgotten thy law.

62 Â meia-noite me levanto para dar-te graças, por causa dos teus retos juízos.

At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee Because of thy righteous ordinances.

63 C ompanheiro sou de todos os que te temem, e dos que guardam os teus preceitos.

I am a companion of all them that fear thee, And of them that observe thy precepts.

64 A terra, ó Senhor, está cheia da tua benignidade; ensina-me os teus estatutos.

The earth, O Jehovah, is full of thy lovingkindness: Teach me thy statutes. TETH.

65 T ens usado de bondade para com o teu servo, Senhor, segundo a tua palavra.

Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O Jehovah, according unto thy word.

66 E nsina-me bom juízo e ciência, pois creio nos teus mandamentos.

Teach me good judgment and knowledge; For I have believed in thy commandments.

67 A ntes de ser afligido, eu me extraviava; mas agora guardo a tua palavra.

Before I was afflicted I went astray; But now I observe thy word.

68 T u és bom e fazes o bem; ensina-me os teus estatutos.

Thou art good, and doest good; Teach me thy statutes.

69 O s soberbos forjam mentiras contra mim; mas eu de todo o coração guardo os teus preceitos.

The proud have forged a lie against me: With my whole heart will I keep thy precepts.

70 T orna-se-lhes insensível o coração como a gordura; mas eu me deleito na tua lei.

Their heart is as fat as grease; But I delight in thy law.

71 F oi-me bom ter sido afligido, para que aprendesse os teus estatutos.

It is good for me that I have been afflicted; That I may learn thy statutes.

72 M elhor é para mim a lei da tua boca do que milhares de ouro e prata.

The law of thy mouth is better unto me Than thousands of gold and silver. YODH.

73 A s tuas mãos me fizeram e me formaram; dá-me entendimento para que aprenda os teus mandamentos.

Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: Give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.

74 O s que te temem me verão e se alegrarão, porque tenho esperado na tua palavra.

They that fear thee shall see me and be glad, Because I have hoped in thy word.

75 B em sei eu, ó Senhor, que os teus juízos são retos, e que em tua fidelidade me afligiste.

I know, O Jehovah, that thy judgments are righteous, And that in faithfulness thou hast afflicted me.

76 S irva, pois, a tua benignidade para me consolar, segundo a palavra que deste ao teu servo.

Let, I pray thee, thy lovingkindness be for my comfort, According to thy word unto thy servant.

77 V enham sobre mim as tuas ternas misericórdias, para que eu viva, pois a tua lei é o meu deleite.

Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live; For thy law is my delight.

78 E nvergonhados sejam os soberbos, por me haverem subvertido sem causa; mas eu meditarei nos teus preceitos.

Let the proud be put to shame; For they have overthrown me wrongfully: But I will meditate on thy precepts.

79 V oltem-se para mim os que te temem, para que conheçam os teus testemunhos.

Let those that fear thee turn unto me; And they shall know thy testimonies.

80 S eja perfeito o meu coração nos teus estatutos, para que eu não seja envergonhado.

Let my heart be perfect in thy statutes, That I be not put to shame. KAPH.

81 D esfalece a minha alma, aguardando a tua salvação; espero na tua palavra.

My soul fainteth for thy salvation; But I hope in thy word.

82 O s meus olhos desfalecem, esperando por tua promessa, enquanto eu pergunto: Quando me consolarás tu?

Mine eyes fail for thy word, While I say, When wilt thou comfort me?

83 P ois tornei-me como odre na fumaça, mas não me esqueci dos teus estatutos.

For I am become like a wine-skin in the smoke; Yet do I not forget thy statutes.

84 Q uantos serão os dias do teu servo? Até quando não julgarás aqueles que me perseguem?

How many are the days of thy servant? When wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?

85 A briram covas para mim os soberbos, que não andam segundo a tua lei.

The proud have digged pits for me, Who are not according to thy law.

86 T odos os teus mandamentos são fiéis. Sou perseguido injustamente; ajuda-me!

All thy commandments are faithful: They persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.

87 Q uase que me consumiram sobre a terra, mas eu não deixei os teus preceitos.

They had almost consumed me upon earth; But I forsook not thy precepts. LAMEDH.

88 V ivifica-me segundo a tua benignidade, para que eu guarde os testemunhos da tua boca.

Quicken me after thy lovingkindness; So shall I observe the testimony of thy mouth.

89 P ara sempre, ó Senhor, a tua palavra está firmada nos céus.

For ever, O Jehovah, Thy word is settled in heaven.

90 A tua fidelidade estende-se de geração a geração; tu firmaste a terra, e firme permanece.

Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: Thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.

91 C onforme a tua ordenança, tudo se mantém até hoje, porque todas as coisas te obedecem.

They abide this day according to thine ordinances; For all things are thy servants.

92 S e a tua lei não fora o meu deleite, então eu teria perecido na minha angústia.

Unless thy law had been my delight, I should then have perished in mine affliction.

93 N unca me esquecerei dos teus preceitos, pois por eles me tens vivificado.

I will never forget thy precepts; For with them thou hast quickened me.

94 S ou teu, salva-me; pois tenho buscado os teus preceitos.

I am thine, save me; For I have sought thy precepts.

95 O s ímpios me espreitam para me destruírem, mas eu atento para os teus testemunhos.

The wicked have waited for me, to destroy me; But I will consider thy testimonies. MEM.

96 A toda perfeição vi limite, mas o teu mandamento é ilimitado.

I have seen an end of all perfection; But thy commandment is exceeding broad.

97 O h! quanto amo a tua lei! ela é a minha meditação o dia todo.

Oh how love I thy law! It is my meditation all the day.

98 O teu mandamento me faz mais sábio do que meus inimigos, pois está sempre comigo.

Thy commandments make me wiser than mine enemies; For they are ever with me.

99 T enho mais entendimento do que todos os meus mestres, porque os teus testemunhos são a minha meditação.

I have more understanding than all my teachers; For thy testimonies are my meditation.

100 S ou mais entendido do que os velhos, porque tenho guardado os teus preceitos.

I understand more than the aged, Because I have kept thy precepts.

101 R etenho os meus pés de todo caminho mau, a fim de observar a tua palavra.

I have refrained my feet from every evil way, That I might observe thy word.

102 N ão me aperto das tuas ordenanças, porque és tu quem me instrui.

I have not turned aside from thine ordinances; For thou hast taught me.

103 O h! quão doces são as tuas palavras ao meu paladar! mais doces do que o mel ã minha boca.

How sweet are thy words unto my taste! Yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

104 P elos teus preceitos alcanço entendimento, pelo que aborreço toda vereda de falsidade.

Through thy precepts I get understanding: Therefore I hate every false way. NUN.

105 L âmpada para os meus pés é a tua palavra, e luz para o meu caminho.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And light unto my path.

106 F iz juramento, e o confirmei, de guardar as tuas justas ordenanças.

I have sworn, and have confirmed it, That I will observe thy righteous ordinances.

107 E stou aflitíssimo; vivifica-me, ó Senhor, segundo a tua palavra.

I am afflicted very much: Quicken me, O Jehovah, according unto thy word.

108 A ceita, Senhor, eu te rogo, as oferendas voluntárias da minha boca, e ensina-me as tuas ordenanças.

Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill-offerings of my mouth, O Jehovah, And teach me thine ordinances.

109 E stou continuamente em perigo de vida; todavia não me esqueço da tua lei.

My soul is continually in my hand; Yet do I not forget thy law.

110 O s ímpios me armaram laço, contudo não me desviei dos teus preceitos.

The wicked have laid a snare for me; Yet have I not gone astray from thy precepts.

111 O s teus testemunhos são a minha herança para sempre, pois são eles o gozo do meu coração.

Thy testimonies have I taken as a heritage for ever; For they are the rejoicing of my heart.

112 I nclino o meu coração a cumprir os teus estatutos, para sempre, até o fim.

I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes For ever, even unto the end. SAMEKH.

113 A borreço a duplicidade, mas amo a tua lei.

I hate them that are of a double mind; But thy law do I love.

114 T u és o meu refúgio e o meu escudo; espero na tua palavra.

Thou art my hiding-place and my shield: I hope in thy word.

115 A partai-vos de mim, malfeitores, para que eu guarde os mandamentos do meu Deus.

Depart from me, ye evil-doers, That I may keep the commandments of my God.

116 A mpara-me conforme a tua palavra, para que eu viva; e não permitas que eu seja envergonhado na minha esperança.

Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live; And let me not be ashamed of my hope.

117 S ustenta-me, e serei salvo, e de contínuo terei respeito aos teus estatutos.

Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe, And shall have respect unto thy statutes continually.

118 D esprezas todos os que se desviam dos teus estatutos, pois a astúcia deles é falsidade.

Thou hast set at nought all them that err from thy statutes; For their deceit is falsehood.

119 D eitas fora, como escória, todos os ímpios da terra; pelo que amo os teus testemunhos.

Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: Therefore I love thy testimonies.

120 A rrepia-se-me a carne com temor de ti, e tenho medo dos teus juízos.

My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; And I am afraid of thy judgments. AYIN.

121 T enho praticado a retidão e a justiça; não me abandones aos meus opressores.

I have done justice and righteousness: Leave me not to mine oppressors.

122 F ica por fiador do teu servo para o bem; não me oprimem os soberbos.

Be surety for thy servant for good: Let not the proud oppress me.

123 O s meus olhos desfalecem ã espera da tua salvação e da promessa da tua justiça.

Mine eyes fail for thy salvation, And for thy righteous word.

124 T rata com o teu servo segundo a tua benignidade, e ensina-me os teus estatutos.

Deal with thy servant according unto thy lovingkindness, And teach me thy statutes.

125 S ou teu servo; dá-me entendimento, para que eu conheça os teus testemunhos.

I am thy servant; give me understanding, That I may know thy testimonies.

126 É tempo de agires, ó Senhor, pois eles violaram a tua lei.

It is time for Jehovah to work; For they have made void thy law.

127 P elo que amo os teus mandamentos mais do que o ouro, sim, mais do que o ouro fino.

Therefore I love thy commandments Above gold, yea, above fine gold.

128 P or isso dirijo os meus passos por todos os teus preceitos, e aborreço toda vereda de falsidade.

Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; And I hate every false way. PE.

129 M aravilhosos são os teus testemunhos, por isso a minha alma os guarda.

Thy testimonies are wonderful; Therefore doth my soul keep them.

130 A exposição das tuas palavras dá luz; dá entendimento aos simples.

The opening of thy words giveth light; It giveth understanding unto the simple.

131 A bro a minha boca e arquejo, pois estou anelante pelos teus mandamentos.

I opened wide my mouth, and panted; For I longed for thy commandments.

132 V olta-te para mim, e compadece-te de mim, conforme usas para com os que amam o teu nome.

Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me, As thou usest to do unto those that love thy name.

133 F irma os meus passos na tua palavra; e não se apodere de mim iniqüidade alguma.

Establish my footsteps in thy word; And let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

134 R esgata-me da opressão do homem; assim guardarei os teus preceitos.

Redeem me from the oppression of man: So will I observe thy precepts.

135 F aze resplandecer o teu rosto sobre o teu servo, e ensina-me os teus estatutos.

Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; And teach me thy statutes.

136 O s meus olhos derramam rios de lágrimas, porque os homens não guardam a tua lei.

Streams of water run down mine eyes, Because they observe not thy law. TSADHE.

137 J usto és, ó Senhor, e retos são os teus juízos.

Righteous art thou, O Jehovah, And upright are thy judgments.

138 O rdenaste os teus testemunhos com retidão, e com toda a fidelidade.

Thou hast commanded thy testimonies in righteousness And very faithfulness.

139 O meu zelo me consome, porque os meus inimigos se esquecem da tua palavra.

My zeal hath consumed me, Because mine adversaries have forgotten thy words.

140 A tua palavra é fiel a toda prova, por isso o teu servo a ama.

Thy word is very pure; Therefore thy servant loveth it.

141 P equeno sou e desprezado, mas não me esqueço dos teus preceitos.

I am small and despised; Yet do I not forget thy precepts.

142 A tua justiça é justiça eterna, e a tua lei é a verdade.

Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, And thy law is truth.

143 T ribulação e angústia se apoderaram de mim; mas os teus mandamentos são o meu prazer.

Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me; Yet thy commandments are my delight.

144 J ustos são os teus testemunhos para sempre; dá-me entendimento, para que eu viva.

Thy testimonies are righteous for ever: Give me understanding, and I shall live. QOPH.

145 C lamo de todo o meu coração; atende-me, Senhor! Eu guardarei os teus estatutos.

I have called with my whole heart; answer me, O Jehovah: I will keep thy statutes.

146 A ti clamo; salva-me, para que guarde os teus testemunhos.

I have called unto thee; save me, And I shall observe thy testimonies.

147 A ntecipo-me ã alva da manhã e clamo; aguardo com esperança as tuas palavras.

I anticipated the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy words.

148 O s meus olhos se antecipam

Mine eyes anticipated the night-watches, That I might meditate on thy word.

149 O uve a minha voz, segundo a tua benignidade; vivifica-me, ó Senhor, segundo a tua justiça.

Hear my voice according unto thy lovingkindness: Quicken me, O Jehovah, according to thine ordinances.

150 A proximam-se os que me perseguem maliciosamente; andam afastados da tua lei.

They draw nigh that follow after wickedness; They are far from thy law.

151 T u estás perto, Senhor, e todos os teus mandamentos são verdade.

Thou art nigh, O Jehovah; And all thy commandments are truth.

152 H á muito sei eu dos teus testemunhos que os fundaste para sempre.

Of old have I known from thy testimonies, That thou hast founded them for ever. RESH.

153 O lha para a minha aflição, e livra-me, pois não me esqueço da tua lei.

Consider mine affliction, and deliver me; For I do not forget thy law.

154 P leiteia a minha causa, e resgata-me; vivifica-me segundo a tua palavra.

Plead thou my cause, and redeem me: Quicken me according to thy word.

155 A salvação está longe dos ímpios, pois não buscam os teus estatutos.

Salvation is far from the wicked; For they seek not thy statutes.

156 M uitas são, Senhor, as tuas misericórdias; vivifica-me segundo os teus juízos.

Great are thy tender mercies, O Jehovah: Quicken me according to thine ordinances.

157 M uitos são os meus perseguidores e os meus adversários, mas não me desvio dos teus testemunhos.

Many are my persecutors and mine adversaries; Yet have I not swerved from thy testimonies.

158 V i os pérfidos, e me afligi, porque não guardam a tua palavra.

I beheld the treacherous, and was grieved, Because they observe not thy word.

159 C onsidera como amo os teus preceitos; vivifica-me, Senhor, segundo a tua benignidade.

Consider how I love thy precepts: Quicken me, O Jehovah, according to thy lovingkindness.

160 A soma da tua palavra é a verdade, e cada uma das tuas justas ordenanças dura para sempre.

The sum of thy word is truth; And every one of thy righteous ordinances endureth for ever. SHIN.

161 P ríncipes me perseguem sem causa, mas o meu coração teme as tuas palavras.

Princes have persecuted me without a cause; But my heart standeth in awe of thy words.

162 R egozijo-me com a tua palavra, como quem acha grande despojo.

I rejoice at thy word, As one that findeth great spoil.

163 O deio e abomino a falsidade; amo, porém, a tua lei.

I hate and abhor falsehood; But thy law do I love.

164 S ete vezes no dia te louvo pelas tuas justas ordenanças.

Seven times a day do I praise thee, Because of thy righteous ordinances.

165 M uita paz têm os que amam a tua lei, e não há nada que os faça tropeçar.

Great peace have they that love thy law; And they have no occasion of stumbling.

166 E spero, Senhor, na tua salvação, e cumpro os teus mandamentos.

I have hoped for thy salvation, O Jehovah, And have done thy commandments.

167 A minha alma observa os teus testemunhos; amo-os extremamente.

My soul hath observed thy testimonies; And I love them exceedingly.

168 O bservo os teus preceitos e os teus testemunhos, pois todos os meus caminhos estão diante de ti.

I have observed thy precepts and thy testimonies; For all my ways are before thee. TAV.

169 C hegue a ti o meu clamor, ó Senhor; dá-me entendimento conforme a tua palavra.

Let my cry come near before thee, O Jehovah: Give me understanding according to thy word.

170 C hegue ã tua presença a minha súplica; livra-me segundo a tua palavra.

Let my supplication come before thee: Deliver me according to thy word.

171 P rofiram louvor os meus lábios, pois me ensinas os teus estatutos.

Let my lips utter praise; For thou teachest me thy statutes.

172 C elebre a minha língua a tua palavra, pois todos os teus mandamentos são justos.

Let my tongue sing of thy word; For all thy commandments are righteousness.

173 E steja pronta a tua mão para me socorrer, pois escolhi os teus preceitos.

Let thy hand be ready to help me; For I have chosen thy precepts.

174 A nelo por tua salvação, ó Senhor; a tua lei é o meu prazer.

I have longed for thy salvation, O Jehovah; And thy law is my delight.

175 Q ue minha alma viva, para que te louve; ajudem-me as tuas ordenanças.

Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; And let thine ordinances help me.

176 D esgarrei-me como ovelha perdida; busca o teu servo, pois não me esqueço dos teus mandamentos.

I have gone astray like a lost sheep; Seek thy servant; For I do not forget thy commandments.
