1 A nd Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

Domnul i-a zis lui Moise:

2 S peak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall accomplish a vow, the persons shall be for Jehovah by thy estimation.

„Spune-le israeliţilor: «Când un om va închina Domnului anumite persoane printr-un jurământ deosebit, să o facă după evaluarea ta;

3 A nd thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.

dacă este vorba despre un bărbat cu vârsta cuprinsă între douăzeci şi şaizeci de ani, atunci evaluarea ta să fie de cincizeci de şecheli de argint, după şechelul Lăcaşului.

4 A nd if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels.

Dacă este o femeie, atunci evaluarea ta să fie de treizeci de şecheli.

5 A nd if it be from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

Dacă are între cinci şi douăzeci de ani, evaluarea ta să fie de douăzeci de şecheli pentru un băiat şi de zece şecheli pentru o fată.

6 A nd if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver.

Dacă are între o lună şi cinci ani, evaluarea ta să fie de cinci şecheli de argint pentru un băiat şi de trei şecheli de argint pentru o fetiţă.

7 A nd if it be from sixty years old and upward; if it be a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

Dacă omul are şaizeci de ani sau mai mult, atunci evaluarea ta pentru un bărbat să fie de cincisprezece şecheli, iar pentru o femeie să fie de zece şecheli.

8 B ut if he be poorer than thy estimation, then he shall be set before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to the ability of him that vowed shall the priest value him.

Dacă este prea sărac ca să poată plăti evaluarea ta, atunci să se ducă la preot şi preotul să-i facă o altă evaluare; preotul să facă o evaluare potrivit cu mijloacele pe care le are cel ce a făcut jurământul.

9 A nd if it be a beast, whereof men offer an oblation unto Jehovah, all that any man giveth of such unto Jehovah shall be holy.

Dacă este vorba de animale care pot fi aduse ca jertfe Domnului, tot ceea ce va fi oferit Domnului va fi considerat sfânt.

10 H e shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and if he shall at all change beast for beast, then both it and that for which it is changed shall be holy.

Nu va avea voie să înlocuiască animalul şi nici să schimbe unul bun pe altul rău sau unul rău pe altul bun; dacă un animal este înlocuit cu un altul, atunci şi unul, şi celălalt vor fi consideraţi sfinţi.

11 A nd if it be any unclean beast, of which they do not offer an oblation unto Jehovah, then he shall set the beast before the priest;

Dacă este vorba de un animal necurat, care nu poate fi adus ca jertfă Domnului, animalul să fie adus înaintea preotului.

12 a nd the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: as thou the priest valuest it, so shall it be.

Preotul să-l evalueze să vadă dacă e bun sau rău; va rămâne la evaluarea făcută de preot.

13 B ut if he will indeed redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part thereof unto thy estimation.

Dacă vrea să-l răscumpere, să mai adauge o cincime la evaluarea lui.

14 A nd when a man shall sanctify his house to be holy unto Jehovah, then the priest shall estimate it, whether it be good or bad: as the priest shall estimate it, so shall it stand.

Dacă un om Îi va închina Domnului locuinţa sa, preotul s-o evalueze să vadă dacă e bună sau rea; va rămâne la evaluarea făcută de preot.

15 A nd if he that sanctified it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be his.

Dacă cel care şi-a închinat Domnului locuinţa vrea să o răscumpere, va trebui să adauge o cincime la evaluarea ei şi va fi a lui.

16 A nd if a man shall sanctify unto Jehovah part of the field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the sowing thereof: the sowing of a homer of barley shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver.

Dacă un om Îi va închina Domnului o parcelă de pământ din moşia lui, evaluarea ei să fie făcută ţinând cont de sămânţa necesară cultivării ei: cincizeci de şecheli de argint la un homer de sămânţă de orz.

17 I f he sanctify his field from the year of jubilee, according to thy estimation it shall stand.

Dacă va închina ogorul în anul de veselie, acesta să rămână la evaluarea ta,

18 B ut if he sanctify his field after the jubilee, then the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain unto the year of jubilee; and an abatement shall be made from thy estimation.

dar dacă va închina ogorul după anul de veselie, atunci preotul să-i socotească preţul în funcţie de anii care mai rămân până la anul de veselie, după care să-l scadă din evaluarea ta.

19 A nd if he that sanctified the field will indeed redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him.

Dacă cel care închină ogorul, va dori vreodată să-l răscumpere, atunci va trebui să adauge o cincime la preţul evaluării tale şi ogorul va fi al lui.

20 A nd if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more:

Dar dacă nu va dori să-şi răscumpere ogorul sau dacă îl va vinde altui om, atunci nu va mai putea fi răscumpărat.

21 b ut the field, when it goeth out in the jubilee, shall be holy unto Jehovah, as a field devoted; the possession thereof shall be the priest's.

În anul de veselie, când ogorul va fi eliberat, el va fi pus deoparte pentru Domnul ca un ogor închinat Lui; el va fi proprietatea preotului.

22 A nd if he sanctify unto Jehovah a field which he hath bought, which is not of the field of his possession;

Dacă cineva închină Domnului un ogor pe care l-a cumpărat, care nu este parte din moşia lui,

23 t hen the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation unto the year of jubilee: and he shall give thine estimation in that day, as a holy thing unto Jehovah.

preotul să socotească cât trebuie să fie preţul până la anul de veselie, iar el să plătească în aceeaşi zi evaluarea ta, ca un lucru închinat Domnului.

24 I n the year of jubilee the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land belongeth.

În anul de veselie ogorul acela să fie dat înapoi celui de la care fusese cumpărat, din moşia căruia făcea parte.

25 A nd all thy estimations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.

Toate evaluările să fie făcute după şechelul Lăcaşului, care are douăzeci de ghere.

26 O nly the firstling among beasts, which is made a firstling to Jehovah, no man shall sanctify it; whether it be ox or sheep, it is Jehovah's.

Nimeni nu va putea închina Domnului întâiul născut al animalelor, deoarece el aparţine deja Domnului ca întâi născut; fie bou, fie oaie, este al Domnului.

27 A nd if it be of an unclean beast, then he shall ransom it according to thine estimation, and shall add unto it the fifth part thereof: or if it be not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to thy estimation.

Dacă este vorba însă de un animal necurat, atunci să-l răscumpere după evaluarea ta şi să adauge o cincime la ea; dacă nu va fi răscumpărat, să fie vândut după evaluarea ta.

28 N otwithstanding, no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto Jehovah of all that he hath, whether of man or beast, or of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy unto Jehovah.

Nici un lucru oferit Domnului spre nimicire, pe care un om îl poate închina Domnului din tot ce are, fie om, fie animal, fie vreun ogor din moşia lui, nu va putea fi vândut sau răscumpărat; tot ce va fi închinat astfel va fi considerat preasfânt pentru Domnul.

29 N o one devoted, that shall be devoted from among men, shall be ransomed; he shall surely be put to death.

Nici un om dat spre nimicire nu va putea fi răscumpărat, ci va fi omorât.

30 A nd all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is Jehovah's: it is holy unto Jehovah.

Toate zeciuielile din pământ, fie din sămânţa pământului, fie din rodul pomilor, sunt ale Domnului; ele sunt închinate Domnului.

31 A nd if a man will redeem aught of his tithe, he shall add unto it the fifth part thereof.

Dacă un om va dori să răscumpere ceva din zeciuiala sa, să mai adauge o cincime la ea.

32 A nd all the tithe of the herd or the flock, whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto Jehovah.

Toate zeciuielile din cirezi sau din turme, tot ce va trece pe sub toiagul păstorului să fie închinat Domnului.

33 H e shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he change it at all, then both it and that for which it is changed shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.

Să nu se cerceteze dacă animalul este bun sau rău şi nici să nu se înlocuiască; dacă-l va înlocui cineva, atunci ambele animale vor fi sfinte, atât animalul înlocuit, cât şi celălalt şi nu vor putea fi răscumpărate.»“

34 T hese are the commandments, which Jehovah commanded Moses for the children of Israel in mount Sinai.

Acestea sunt poruncile pe care Domnul i le-a dat lui Moise pe muntele Sinai, pentru poporul Israel.
