1 A nd it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;

În cea de-a opta zi, Moise i-a convocat pe Aaron, pe fiii săi şi pe cei din sfatul bătrânilor lui Israel.

2 a nd he said unto Aaron, Take thee a calf of the herd for a sin-offering, and a ram for a burnt-offering, without blemish, and offer them before Jehovah.

El i-a zis lui Aaron: „Ia un viţel pentru o jertfă pentru păcat şi un berbec fără meteahnă pentru o ardere de tot şi adu-i înaintea Domnului.

3 A nd unto the children of Israel thou shalt speak, saying, Take ye a he-goat for a sin-offering; and a calf and a lamb, both a year old, without blemish, for a burnt-offering;

Iar israeliţilor să le spui să ia un ţap pentru o jertfă pentru păcat, un viţel şi un miel de un an, fără meteahnă, pentru o ardere de tot,

4 a nd an ox and a ram for peace-offerings, to sacrifice before Jehovah; and a meal-offering mingled with oil: for to-day Jehovah appeareth unto you.

un bou şi un berbec pentru o jertfă de pace şi să-i aducă înaintea Domnului; de asemenea, să aducă şi un dar de mâncare amestecat cu ulei, căci astăzi li Se va arăta Domnul. “

5 A nd they brought that which Moses commanded before the tent of meeting: and all the congregation drew near and stood before Jehovah.

Israeliţii au adus în faţa Cortului Întâlnirii ce a poruncit Moise şi toată adunarea s-a apropiat şi a stat înaintea Domnului.

6 A nd Moses said, This is the thing which Jehovah commanded that ye should do: and the glory of Jehovah shall appear unto you.

Moise le-a zis: „Acesta este lucrul pe care Domnul vi l-a poruncit să-l faceţi, pentru ca slava Domnului să vi se arate.“

7 A nd Moses said unto Aaron, Draw near unto the altar, and offer thy sin-offering, and thy burnt-offering, and make atonement for thyself, and for the people; and offer the oblation of the people, and make atonement for them; as Jehovah commanded.

Apoi Moise i-a zis lui Aaron: „Apropie-te de altar şi adu jertfa pentru păcatul tău şi arderea ta de tot şi fă ispăşire pentru tine şi pentru popor; după aceea, adu şi jertfa poporului şi fă ispăşire pentru el, aşa cum a poruncit Domnul. “

8 S o Aaron drew near unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin-offering, which was for himself.

Aaron s-a apropiat de altar şi a înjunghiat viţelul adus ca jertfă pentru păcat; acesta era pentru el.

9 A nd the sons of Aaron presented the blood unto him; and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar:

Fiii lui Aaron i-au adus sângele, iar el a luat cu degetul din sânge şi a uns coarnele altarului; restul sângelui l-a turnat la baza altarului.

10 b ut the fat, and the kidneys, and the caul from the liver of the sin-offering, he burnt upon the altar; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

Dar grăsimea, rinichii şi membrana ficatului de la jertfa pentru păcat le-a ars pe altar, aşa cum i-a poruncit Domnul lui Moise.

11 A nd the flesh and the skin he burnt with fire without the camp.

Carnea şi pielea le-a ars în afara taberei.

12 A nd he slew the burnt-offering; and Aaron's sons delivered unto him the blood, and he sprinkled it upon the altar round about.

Apoi a înjunghiat arderea de tot. Fiii lui Aaron i-au adus sângele şi el l-a stropit pe altar, de jur împrejur.

13 A nd they delivered the burnt-offering unto him, piece by piece, and the head: and he burnt them upon the altar.

I-au adus arderea de tot tăiată în bucăţi, cu tot cu cap, şi el le-a ars pe altar.

14 A nd he washed the inwards and the legs, and burnt them upon the burnt-offering on the altar.

A spălat măruntaiele şi picioarele şi le-a ars pe altar, deasupra arderii de tot.

15 A nd he presented the people's oblation, and took the goat of the sin-offering which was for the people, and slew it, and offered it for sin, as the first.

După aceea Aaron a adus jertfa poporului. A luat ţapul care trebuia adus ca jertfă pentru păcatul poporului, l-a înjunghiat, după care l-a adus ca jertfă pentru păcat, ca şi pe cea dintâi jertfă.

16 A nd he presented the burnt-offering, and offered it according to the ordinance.

A adus apoi arderea de tot şi a jertfit-o potrivit poruncii.

17 A nd he presented the meal-offering, and filled his hand therefrom, and burnt it upon the altar, besides the burnt-offering of the morning.

A adus darul de mâncare, a luat un pumn de făină din el şi a ars-o pe altar, pe lângă arderea de tot de dimineaţă.

18 H e slew also the ox and the ram, the sacrifice of peace-offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron's sons delivered unto him the blood, which he sprinkled upon the altar round about,

După aceea a înjunghiat boul şi berbecul ca jertfă de pace pentru popor. Fiii lui Aaron i-au adus sângele şi el l-a stropit pe altar, de jur împrejur.

19 a nd the fat of the ox and of the ram, the fat tail, and that which covereth the inwards, and the kidneys, and the caul of the liver:

I-au adus apoi grăsimea boului şi a berbecului: grăsimea cozilor, grăsimea de pe măruntaie, rinichii şi grăsimea de pe ei, membranele de pe ficaţi.

20 a nd they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat upon the altar:

Au pus grăsimea deasupra piepţilor, iar Aaron a ars această grăsime pe altar.

21 a nd the breasts and the right thigh Aaron waved for a wave-offering before Jehovah; as Moses commanded.

După aceea, a legănat piepţii şi spata dreaptă ca jertfă legănată înaintea Domnului, aşa cum a poruncit Moise.

22 A nd Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people, and blessed them; and he came down from offering the sin-offering, and the burnt-offering, and the peace-offerings.

Aaron şi-a ridicat mâinile spre popor şi l-a binecuvântat. Apoi Aaron s-a coborât din locul în care a adus jertfa pentru păcat, arderea de tot şi jertfa de pace.

23 A nd Moses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of Jehovah appeared unto all the people.

Moise şi Aaron au intrat în Cortul Întâlnirii, iar când au ieşit, au binecuvântat poporul. Atunci slava Domnului s-a arătat întregului popor.

24 A nd there came forth fire from before Jehovah, and consumed upon the altar the burnt-offering and the fat: and when all the people saw it, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

Un foc a ieşit dinaintea Domnului şi a mistuit arderea de tot şi grăsimea de pe altar. Tot poporul a văzut lucrul acesta, a chiuit de bucurie şi a căzut cu faţa la pământ.
