1 L ord, You have been favorable and have dealt graciously with Your land; You have brought back the captives of Jacob.

Señor, tú has sido propicio a tu tierra: has hecho volver a Jacob de su cautividad,

2 Y ou have forgiven and taken away the iniquity of Your people, You have covered all their sin. Selah!

has perdonado la iniquidad de tu pueblo, has perdonado todos sus pecados,

3 Y ou have withdrawn all Your wrath and indignation, You have turned away from the blazing anger.

has reprimido completamente tu enojo, has alejado de ti el ardor de tu ira.

4 R estore us, O God of our salvation, and cause Your anger toward us to cease.

¡Ahora restáuranos, Dios de nuestra salvación! ¡Deja ya de estar airado contra nosotros!

5 W ill You be angry with us forever? Will You prolong Your anger and spread it out to all generations?

¿Acaso vas a estar enojado con nosotros siempre? ¿Mantendrás tu ira de una generación a otra?

6 W ill You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?

¿Acaso no volverás a darnos vida, para que este pueblo tuyo se regocije en ti?

7 S how us Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, and grant us Your salvation.

Señor, ¡danos muestras de tu misericordia! ¡Concédenos tu salvación!

8 I will listen to what God the Lord will say, for He will speak peace to His people, to His saints (those who are in right standing with Him)—but let them not turn again to folly.

Escucharé lo que Dios el Señor va a decir; va a hablar de paz a su pueblo y a sus santos, para que no caigan en la locura.

9 S urely His salvation is near to those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him, that glory may tabernacle and abide in our land.

Su salvación está cerca de quienes le temen, para que su gloria se asiente en nuestra tierra.

10 M ercy and loving-kindness and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

Se encontrarán la misericordia y la verdad, se besarán la justicia y la paz.

11 T ruth shall spring up from the earth, and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

Desde la tierra brotará la verdad, y desde los cielos observará la justicia.

12 Y es, the Lord will give what is good, and our land will yield its increase.

Además, el Señor nos dará buenas cosas, y nuestra tierra producirá buenos frutos.

13 R ighteousness shall go before Him and shall make His footsteps a way in which to walk.

Delante de él irá la justicia, para abrirle paso y señalarle el camino.
