1 L ord, You have been favorable and have dealt graciously with Your land; You have brought back the captives of Jacob.

5 W ill You be angry with us forever? Will You prolong Your anger and spread it out to all generations?

Oare să te fi mâniat Tu pe noi pe vecie? Vei continua Tu să te mânii din generaţie în generaţie?

6 W ill You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?

Oare să nu ne înviorezi Tu din nou, ca astfel poporul Tău să se bucure iarăşi de Tine?

7 S how us Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, and grant us Your salvation.

Doamne, arată-ne iarăşi îndurarea Ta! Dă-ne din nou mântuirea Ta!

8 I will listen to what God the Lord will say, for He will speak peace to His people, to His saints (those who are in right standing with Him)—but let them not turn again to folly.

Eu voi asculta ce vorbeşte Dumnezeu, Domnul, căci El promite pacea poporului Său şi credincioşilor Săi, numai ei să nu se întoarcă la nebunie.

9 S urely His salvation is near to those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him, that glory may tabernacle and abide in our land.

Într-adevăr, mântuirea Lui este aproape de cei ce se tem de El, pentru ca slava să locuiască în ţara noastră.

10 M ercy and loving-kindness and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

Îndurarea şi credincioşia se întâlnesc, iar dreptatea şi pacea se sărută.

11 T ruth shall spring up from the earth, and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

Adevărul răsare din pământ, iar dreptatea priveşte din ceruri.

12 Y es, the Lord will give what is good, and our land will yield its increase.

Da, Domnul dă ceea ce este bun, iar pământul nostru îşi dă rodul.

13 R ighteousness shall go before Him and shall make His footsteps a way in which to walk.

Dreptatea merge înaintea Lui şi pregăteşte calea pentru paşii Săi.
