1 O sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth!

Cântaţi Domnului un cântec nou, cântaţi Domnului, toţi locuitorii pământului!

2 S ing to the Lord, bless (affectionately praise) His name; show forth His salvation from day to day.

Cântaţi Domnului, binecuvântaţi-I Numele! Vestiţi în fiecare zi mântuirea Lui!

3 D eclare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all the peoples.

Istorisiţi printre neamuri slava Lui şi printre toate popoarele – minunile Lui!

4 F or great is the Lord and greatly to be praised; He is to be reverently feared and worshiped above all gods.

Căci mare este Domnul şi vrednic de laudă, El este mai de temut decât toţi zeii.

5 F or all the gods of the nations are idols, but the Lord made the heavens.

Toţi zeii popoarelor sunt doar nişte idoli, dar Domnul a făcut cerurile.

6 H onor and majesty are before Him; strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.

Măreţia şi strălucirea sunt înaintea feţei Lui, iar puterea şi slava – în Lăcaşul Lui.

7 A scribe to the Lord, O you families of the peoples, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.

Familii ale popoarelor, daţi Domnului, daţi Domnului slavă şi cinstiţi - I puterea!

8 G ive to the Lord the glory due His name; bring an offering and come into His courts.

Daţi Domnului slava cuvenită Numelui Său! Aduceţi un dar şi veniţi în curţile Lui!

9 O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness; tremble before and reverently fear Him, all the earth.

Închinaţi-vă Domnului cu podoabe sfinte! Tremuraţi înaintea Lui, voi, de pe întreg pământul!

10 S ay among the nations that the Lord reigns; the world also is established, so that it cannot be moved; He shall judge and rule the people righteously and with justice.

Spuneţi printre neamuri: „ Domnul împărăţeşte! De aceea lumea stă neclintită şi nu poate fi clătinată. El va judeca popoarele cu nepărtinire.“

11 L et the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and all the things which fill it;

Să se bucure cerurile şi să se înveselească pământul! Să vuiască marea şi tot ce este în ea!

12 L et the field be exultant, and all that is in it! Then shall all the trees of the wood sing for joy

Să tresalte câmpia şi tot ce este pe ea! Atunci toţi copacii pădurii vor striga de bucurie

13 B efore the Lord, for He comes, for He comes to judge and govern the earth! He shall judge the world with righteousness and justice and the peoples with His faithfulness and truth.

înaintea Domnului, căci El vine, vine să judece pământul, să judece lumea cu dreptate şi popoarele după credincioşia Sa.
