1 O sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have wrought salvation for Him.

Cântaţi Domnului un cântec nou, căci El a făcut minuni. Mâna lui cea dreaptă şi braţul Lui cel sfânt I-au adus victorie!

2 T he Lord has made known His salvation; His righteousness has He openly shown in the sight of the nations.

Domnul Îşi face cunoscută mântuirea; Îşi descoperă dreptatea înaintea neamurilor.

3 H e has remembered His mercy and loving-kindness, His truth and His faithfulness toward the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have witnessed the salvation of our God.

El Şi-a amintit de îndurarea şi de credincioşia promisă casei lui Israel; toate marginile pământului au văzut mântuirea Dumnezeului nostru.

4 M ake a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth and sing for joy, yes, sing praises!

Strigaţi către Domnul, toţi locuitorii pământului! Chiuiţi, strigaţi de bucurie, cântaţi!

5 S ing praises to the Lord with the lyre, with the lyre and the voice of melody.

Cântaţi Domnului cu lira, cu lira şi cu cântece din gură,

6 W ith trumpets and the sound of the horn make a joyful noise before the King, the Lord!

cu trâmbiţe şi cu sunet de corn, strigaţi înaintea Împăratului, a Domnului!

7 L et the sea roar, and all that fills it, the world, and those who dwell in it!

Să vuiască marea şi tot ce este în ea, lumea şi toţi locuitorii ei!

8 L et the rivers clap their hands; together let the hills sing for joy

Râurile să bată din palme, munţii să strige de bucurie cu toţii

9 B efore the Lord, for He is coming to judge the earth; with righteousness will He judge the world, and the peoples with equity.

înaintea Domnului, Care vine să judece pământul. El va judeca lumea cu dreptate şi popoarele cu nepărtinire!
