1 O God, my heart is fixed (steadfast, in the confidence of faith); I will sing, yes, I will sing praises, even with my glory!

Inima mea este pregătită, Dumnezeule; voi cânta şi voi suna din instrumentele mele. Trezeşte-te, suflet al meu!

2 A wake, harp and lyre; I myself will wake very early—I will waken the dawn!

Treziţi-vă, harfă şi liră! Voi trezi zorii.

3 I will praise and give thanks to You, O Lord, among the peoples; and I will sing praises unto You among the nations.

Doamne, Te voi lăuda printre popoare, Îţi voi cânta printre neamuri.

4 F or Your mercy and loving-kindness are great and high as the heavens! Your truth and faithfulness reach to the skies!

Căci îndurarea Ta este mai înaltă decât cerurile, iar credincioşia Ta este mai presus de nori!

5 B e exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let Your glory be over all the earth.

Fii înălţat, Dumnezeule, mai presus de ceruri şi fie slava Ta peste întreg pământul!

6 T hat Your beloved may be delivered, save with Your right hand and answer us!!

Pentru ca preaiubiţii Tăi să fie salvaţi, dă izbăvire prin dreapta Ta şi răspunde-mi!

7 G od has promised in His holiness: I will rejoice, I will distribute, dividing Shechem and the Valley of Succoth.

Dumnezeu a vorbit în sfinţenia Sa: „Voi triumfa, voi împărţi Şehemul şi voi măsura valea Sucot!

8 G ilead is Mine, Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is My stronghold and the defense of My head; Judah is My scepter and lawgiver.

Al Meu este Ghiladul, al Meu este şi Manase; Efraim este coiful Meu, iar Iuda – sceptrul Meu!

9 M oab is My washbasin; upon Edom My shoe I cast; over Philistia I shout.

Moab este vasul în care Mă spăl! Deasupra Edomului Îmi arunc încălţările, iar strigătele Mele de triumf se aud peste Filistia.“

10 W ho will bring me into the strong, fortified city ? Who will lead me into Edom?

Cine mă va conduce în cetatea fortificată? Cine mă va călăuzi până în Edom?

11 H ave You not cast us off, O God? And will You not go forth, O God, with our armies?

Oare nu Tu, Dumnezeule, Cel Care ne-ai respins? Oare nu Tu, Dumnezeule, Cel Care nu mai ieşi cu oştirile noastre?

12 G ive us help against the adversary, for vain is the help of man.

Dă-ne ajutor împotriva duşmanului, căci zadarnic este sprijinul dat de om!

13 T hrough and with God we shall do valiantly, for He it is Who shall tread down our adversaries.

Cu Dumnezeu vom fi biruitori şi El îi va călca în picioare pe duşmanii noştri.
