1 A nd Jesus, getting into a boat, crossed to the other side and came to His own town.

Atunci Isus S-a suit în barcă, a traversat înapoi marea şi S-a dus în cetatea Lui.

2 A nd behold, they brought to Him a man paralyzed and prostrated by illness, lying on a sleeping pad; and when Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralyzed man, Take courage, son; your sins are forgiven and the penalty remitted.

Şi iată că nişte oameni au adus la El un paralitic întins pe un pat. Când le-a văzut Isus credinţa, i-a zis paraliticului: „Îndrăzneşte, fiule! Păcatele îţi sunt iertate!“

3 A nd behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, This man blasphemes!

Atunci unii cărturari şi-au zis în ei înşişi: „Acest Om blasfemiază!“

4 B ut Jesus, knowing ( seeing) their thoughts, said, Why do you think evil and harbor malice in your hearts?

Isus însă, cunoscându-le gândurile, a zis: „De ce gândiţi lucruri rele în inimile voastre?

5 F or which is easier: to say, Your sins are forgiven and the penalty remitted, or to say, Get up and walk?

Căci ce este mai uşor a spune: «Păcatele îţi sunt iertate!» sau a spune: «Ridică-te şi umblă!»?

6 B ut in order that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins and remit the penalty, He then said to the paralyzed man, Get up! Pick up your sleeping pad and go to your own house.

Dar ca să ştiţi că Fiul Omului are pe pământ autoritatea de a ierta păcatele...“, şi atunci i-a zis paraliticului: „Ridică-te, ia-ţi patul şi du-te acasă!“

7 A nd he got up and went away to his own house.

Şi el s-a ridicat şi s-a dus acasă.

8 W hen the crowds saw it, they were struck with fear and awe; and they recognized God and praised and thanked Him, Who had given such power and authority to men.

Mulţimile s-au înfricoşat când au văzut lucrul acesta şi L-au slăvit pe Dumnezeu, Cel Care a le-dat oamenilor o astfel de autoritate. Chemarea lui Matei; Isus stă la masă cu „păcătoşii“

9 A s Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s office; and He said to him, Be My disciple. And he rose and followed Him.

Plecând mai departe de acolo, Isus a văzut un om, numit Matei, şezând la masa unde se colectau taxele şi i-a zis: „Urmează-Mă!“. El s-a ridicat şi L-a urmat.

10 A nd as Jesus reclined at table in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat (reclined) with Him and His disciples.

În timp ce Isus stătea la masă în casa lui Matei, iată că mulţi colectori de taxe şi păcătoşi au venit să ia masa împreună cu El şi cu ucenicii Săi.

11 A nd when the Pharisees saw this, they said to His disciples, Why does your Master eat with tax collectors and those sinful?

Când au văzut fariseii lucrul acesta, i-au întrebat pe ucenicii lui Isus: – De ce mănâncă Învăţătorul vostru cu colectorii de taxe şi cu păcătoşii?

12 B ut when Jesus heard it, He replied, Those who are strong and well (healthy) have no need of a physician, but those who are weak and sick.

Însă Isus i-a auzit şi le-a zis: – Nu cei sănătoşi au nevoie de doctor, ci cei bolnavi.

13 G o and learn what this means: I desire mercy '> readiness to help those in trouble] and not sacrifice and sacrificial victims. For I came not to call and invite the righteous (those who are upright and in right standing with God), but sinners (the erring ones and all those not free from sin).

Duceţi-vă să învăţaţi ce înseamnă: „Milă doresc, nu jertfă!“ Căci Eu n-am venit să-i chem pe cei drepţi, ci pe cei păcătoşi. Întrebarea ucenicilor lui Ioan despre post

14 T hen the disciples of John came to Jesus, inquiring, Why is it that we and the Pharisees fast often,, but Your disciples do not fast?

Atunci ucenicii lui Ioan au venit la El şi L-au întrebat: – De ce noi şi fariseii postim des, iar ucenicii Tăi nu postesc deloc?

15 A nd Jesus replied to them, Can the wedding guests mourn while the bridegroom is still with them? The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast.

Isus le-a răspuns: – Se pot jeli nuntaşii atâta vreme cât mirele este cu ei? Vor veni însă zilele când mirele va fi luat de la ei şi atunci vor posti.

16 A nd no one puts a piece of cloth that has not been shrunk on an old garment, for such a patch tears away from the garment and a worse rent (tear) is made.

Nimeni nu pune o bucată de pânză nouă la o haină veche, căci peticul se va desprinde din haină şi ruptura se va face mai mare.

17 N either is new wine put in old wineskins; for if it is, the skins burst and are torn in pieces, and the wine is spilled and the skins are ruined. But new wine is put into fresh wineskins, and so both are preserved.

Şi nimeni nu pune vinul nou în burdufuri vechi. Dacă face aşa, burdufurile se vor crăpa, vinul se va vărsa şi burdufurile vor fi distruse. Ci vinul nou se pune în burdufuri noi şi astfel se păstrează amândouă. Vindecarea unei femei şi învierea unei fetiţe

18 W hile He was talking this way to them, behold, a ruler entered and, kneeling down, worshiped Him, saying, My daughter has just now died; but come and lay Your hand on her, and she will come to life.

În timp ce Isus spunea aceste lucruri, a venit unul dintre conducătorii sinagogii, I s-a închinat şi I-a zis: „Fiica mea tocmai a murit, dar vino şi pune-Ţi mâna peste ea şi va trăi!“

19 A nd Jesus got up and accompanied him, with His disciples.

Isus S-a ridicat şi a plecat în urma lui împreună cu ucenicii Săi.

20 A nd behold, a woman who had suffered from a flow of blood for twelve years came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His garment;

Şi iată că o femeie, care de doisprezece ani avea o scurgere de sânge, a venit prin spate şi s-a atins de marginea hainei Lui.

21 F or she kept saying to herself, If I only touch His garment, I shall be restored to health.

Căci îşi zicea: „Dacă aş putea măcar să mă ating de haina Lui, voi fi vindecată!“

22 J esus turned around and, seeing her, He said, Take courage, daughter! Your faith has made you well. And at once the woman was restored to health.

Isus S-a întors şi a văzut-o. El i-a zis: „Îndrăzneşte, fiică! Credinţa ta te-a vindecat!“ Şi femeia a fost vindecată chiar în ceasul acela.

23 A nd when Jesus came to the ruler’s house and saw the flute players and the crowd making an uproar and din,

Când a ajuns Isus în casa conducătorului sinagogii şi i-a văzut pe cei ce cântau de jale la fluier şi mulţimea tulburată,

24 H e said, Go away; for the girl is not dead but sleeping. And they laughed and jeered at Him.

le-a zis: „Plecaţi, pentru că fetiţa n-a murit, ci doarme!“ Ei însă râdeau de El.

25 B ut when the crowd had been ordered to go outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose.

După ce mulţimea a fost scoasă afară, Isus a intrat înăuntru, a luat-o pe fetiţă de mână şi ea s-a ridicat.

26 A nd the news about this spread through all that district.

Vestea despre această întâmplare s-a răspândit în tot ţinutul acela. Vindecarea a doi orbi şi a unui mut

27 A s Jesus passed on from there, two blind men followed Him, shouting loudly, Have pity and mercy on us, Son of David!

Când a plecat de acolo, s-au luat după El doi orbi care strigau şi ziceau: – Ai milă de noi, Fiul lui David!

28 W hen He reached the house and went in, the blind men came to Him, and Jesus said to them, Do you believe that I am able to do this? They said to Him, Yes, Lord.

După ce a intrat Isus în casă, orbii s-au apropiat de El, iar El i-a întrebat: – Credeţi că pot face lucrul acesta? – Da, Doamne, I-au răspuns ei.

29 T hen He touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith and trust and reliance be it done to you;

Atunci El le-a atins ochii şi le-a zis: – Să vi se facă după credinţa voastră!

30 A nd their eyes were opened. And Jesus earnestly and sternly charged them, See that you let no one know about this.

Şi ochii lor au fost deschişi. Isus le-a atras atenţia şi le-a zis: – Vedeţi să nu ştie nimeni!

31 B ut they went off and blazed and spread His fame abroad throughout that whole district.

Dar ei au ieşit şi au răspândit vestea despre El în tot ţinutul acela.

32 A nd while they were going away, behold, a dumb man under the power of a demon was brought to Jesus.

În timp ce plecau ei, iată că au adus la Isus un om mut, care era demoniac.

33 A nd when the demon was driven out, the dumb man spoke; and the crowds were stunned with bewildered wonder, saying, Never before has anything like this been seen in Israel.

După ce a fost scos demonul din el, mutul a început să vorbească. Mulţimile se mirau şi ziceau: „Niciodată nu s-a mai văzut aşa ceva în Israel!“

34 B ut the Pharisees said, He drives out demons through and with the help of the prince of demons.

Însă fariseii ziceau: „El scoate demonii cu ajutorul conducătorului demonilor!“ Lucrători puţini pentru un seceriş atât de mare

35 A nd Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the good news (the Gospel) of the kingdom and curing all kinds of disease and every weakness and infirmity.

Isus călătorea prin toate cetăţile şi satele, dând învăţătură în sinagogile lor, predicând Evanghelia Împărăţiei şi vindecând orice boală şi orice neputinţă.

36 W hen He saw the throngs, He was moved with pity and sympathy for them, because they were bewildered (harassed and distressed and dejected and helpless), like sheep without a shepherd.

Când a văzut El mulţimile, I s-a făcut milă de ele, pentru că erau necăjite şi neajutorate ca nişte oi care nu au păstor.

37 T hen He said to His disciples, The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the laborers are few.

Atunci le-a zis ucenicilor Săi: „Secerişul este mare, dar lucrătorii sunt puţini!

38 S o pray to the Lord of the harvest to force out and thrust laborers into His harvest.

Rugaţi-L deci pe Domnul secerişului să trimită lucrători la secerişul Său!“
