1 L ord, You have been favorable and have dealt graciously with Your land; You have brought back the captives of Jacob.

ارضَ يا اللهُ عَنْ بَلَدِكَ، وَأرجِعْ مَنفِيِّي يَعْقُوبَ إلَى هَذِهِ الأرْضِ.

2 Y ou have forgiven and taken away the iniquity of Your people, You have covered all their sin. Selah!

انزَعْ إثمَ شَعبِكَ! امحُ جَميعَ خَطاياهُمْ! سِلاهْ

3 Y ou have withdrawn all Your wrath and indignation, You have turned away from the blazing anger.

كُفَّ عَنْ غَضَبِكَ! ارجِعْ عَنْ سَخَطِكَ عَلَينا!

4 R estore us, O God of our salvation, and cause Your anger toward us to cease.

يا اللهُ مُخَلِّصَنا، أرْجِعْنا إلَيْكَ، وَكُفَّ عَنْ غَضَبِكَ عَلَينا.

5 W ill You be angry with us forever? Will You prolong Your anger and spread it out to all generations?

هَلْ سَتَبقَى إلَى الأبَدِ غاضِباً مِنّا؟ هَلْ سَتُدِيمُ غَضَبَكَ جِيلاً بَعدَ جِيلٍ؟

6 W ill You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?

عُدْ إلَينا وَأحْيِنا لِكَي يَفرَحَ بِكَ شَعبُكَ!

7 S how us Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, and grant us Your salvation.

أرِنا يا اللهُ رَحْمَتَكَ! خَلِّصنا!

8 I will listen to what God the Lord will say, for He will speak peace to His people, to His saints (those who are in right standing with Him)—but let them not turn again to folly.

سَأسْمَعُ ما يَقُولُهُ اللهُ: «سَلامٌ لِشَعبِهِ وَأتقِيائِهِ! لِذَلِكَ لا يَنبَغي أنْ يَرجِعُوا إلَى طُرُقِهِمِ الحَمقاءِ.»

9 S urely His salvation is near to those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him, that glory may tabernacle and abide in our land.

وَسَيُنقِذُ أيضاً عَنْ قَرِيبٍ خائِفِيهِ. فَنَحيا بِكَرامَةٍ عَلَى أرْضِنا.

10 M ercy and loving-kindness and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

الرَّحْمَةُ وَالحَقُّ تَلاقَيا. البِرُّ وَالسَّلامُ تَعانَقا!

11 T ruth shall spring up from the earth, and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

مِنَ الأرْضِ سَيَنْبُتُ الحَقُّ، وَمِنَ السَّماءِ سَيَنزِلُ البِرُّ.

12 Y es, the Lord will give what is good, and our land will yield its increase.

اللهُ نَفسُهُ سَيُعطِينا خَيراً، وَأرْضُنا سَتُعطِي ثَمَرَها.

13 R ighteousness shall go before Him and shall make His footsteps a way in which to walk.

البِرُّ أمامَهُ سَيَسِيرُ، وَلِخُطُواتِهِ سَيُمَهِّدُ الطَّرِيقَ.
