1 T he Lord reigns, let the peoples tremble! He sits above the cherubim, let the earth quake!

اللهُ مَلِكٌ. فَلِتَرتَعِدِ الشُّعُوبُ خَوفاً! يَجلِسُ عَلَى مَلائِكَةِ الكَرُوبِيمَ. وَلِذا فَلْتَهتَزِّ الأرْضُ أمامَهُ.

2 T he Lord is great in Zion, and He is high above all the peoples.

اللهُ عَظِيمٌ فِي صِهْيَوْنَ! مُمَجَّدٌ هُوَ فَوقَ كُلِّ الشُّعُوبِ!

3 L et them confess and praise Your great name, awesome and reverence inspiring! It is holy, and holy is He!

لَيتَ الشُّعُوبَ تُعَظِّمُ اسْمَكَ المَهُوبَ! قُدُّوسٌ هُوَ!

4 T he strength of the king who loves righteousness and equity You establish in uprightness; You execute justice and righteousness in Jacob (Israel).

أيُّها المَلِكُ الجَبّارُ الَّذِي يُحِبُّ العَدلَ، أنتَ رَسَّختَ الإنصافَ، وَحَكَمْتَ بالعَدلِ وَالبِرَّ فِي يَعقُوبَ!

5 E xtol the Lord our God and worship at His footstool! Holy is He!

مَجِّدُوا إلَهَنا ، وَانحَنُوا عِندَ مَوضِعِ قَدَمَيهِ، قُدُّوسٌ هُوَ.

6 M oses and Aaron were among His priests, and Samuel was among those who called upon His name; they called upon the Lord, and He answered them.

كانَ مُوسَى وَهارُونُ مِنْ بَينِ كَهَنَتِهِ، وَصَمُوئِيلُ مِنْ بَينِ مَنْ دَعُوا بِاسْمِهِ، دَعَوْا اللهَ فَاستَجابَ لَهُمْ!

7 H e spoke to them in the pillar of cloud; they kept His testimonies and the statutes that He gave them.

كَلَّمَهُمْ مِنْ خِلالِ عَمُودِ النّارِ وَعَمُودِ الدُّخانِ. وَحَفِظُوا العَهدَ وَالشَّرِيعَةَ اللّذَيْنِ أعطاهُما لَهُمْ.

8 Y ou answered them, O Lord our God; You were a forgiving God to them, although avenging their evildoing and wicked practices.

أنْتَ استَجَبْتَ لَهُمْ يا اللهُ إلَهُنا! أظْهَرتَ لَهُمْ أنَّكَ إلَهٌ غَفُورٌ وَعاقَبْتَهُمْ عَلَى أفْعالِهِمِ الشِّرِيرَةِ.

9 E xtol the Lord our God and worship at His holy hill, for the Lord our God is holy!

مَجِّدُوا اللهَ إلَهَنا، وَانحَنُوا نَحوَ جَبَلِهِ المُقَدَّسِ! لأنَّ اللهَ إلَهَنا قُدُّوسٌ!
