1 S ave me, O God, by Your name; judge and vindicate me by Your mighty strength and power.

خَلِّصْنِي باسمِكَ يا اللهُ! وَبِقُوَّتِكَ العَظِيمَةِ أبْرِئْنِي وَاحْكُمْ لِي.

2 H ear my pleading and my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.

يا اللهُ اسْمَعْ صَلاتِي، وَإلَى كَلِماتِي انتَبِهْ.

3 F or strangers and insolent men are rising up against me, and violent men and ruthless ones seek and demand my life; they do not set God before them. Selah!

هاجَمَنِي غُرَباءٌ، أُناسٌ أقوِياءُ يُرِيدُونَ قَتلِي. لا يَضَعُونَ اللهَ أمامَ أعيُنِهِمْ. سِلاهْ

4 B ehold, God is my helper and ally; the Lord is my upholder and is with them who uphold my life.

ها هُوَ اللهُ مُعِينِي. الرَّبُّ حافِظُ حَياتِي.

5 H e will pay back evil to my enemies; in Your faithfulness put an end to them.

يُعاقِبُ أعدائِي بِحَسَبِ شَرِّهِمْ. أرِنِي يا اللهُ أمانَتَكَ وَدَمِّرْهُمْ.

6 W ith a freewill offering I will sacrifice to You; I will give thanks and praise Your name, O Lord, for it is good.

سَأُقَدِّمُ لَكَ ذَبائِحَ اختِيارِيَّةً، وَسَأحمَدُ اسْمَكَ الصّالِحَ يا اللهُ.

7 F or He has delivered me out of every trouble, and my eye has looked on my enemies.

لأنَّكَ أنقَذْتَنِي مِنْ كُلِّ ضِيقاتِي. وَأنا رَأيتُ ذَلِكَ بِعَينَيَّ!
