1 N ow I introduce and commend to you our sister Phoebe, a deaconess of the church at Cenchreae,

أُوصِيكُمْ خَيراً بِأُختِنا فِيبِي، وَهِيَ مُعَيَّنَةٌ فِي خِدمَةٍ خاصَّةٍ فِي كَنِيسَةِ كَنْخَرِيا.

2 T hat you may receive her in the Lord, as saints (God’s people) ought to receive one another. And help her in whatever matter she may require assistance from you, for she has been a helper of many including myself.

أُوصِيكُمْ أنْ تُرَحِّبُوا بِها فِي الرَّبِّ بِطَرِيقَةٍ تَليقُ بِكُمْ كَمُؤمِنِينَ مُقَدَّسينَ، وَأنْ تُساعِدُوها فِي أيِّ شَيءٍ قَدْ تَحتاجُ إلَيهِ. فَقَدْ كانَتْ هِيَ نَفسُها عَوناً لِكَثِيرِينَ وَلِيْ أنا أيضاً.

3 G ive my greetings to Prisca and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus,

سَلِّمُوا عَلَى بِرِيسْكِلّا وَأكِيلا شَرِيكَيَّ فِي الخِدمَةِ فِي المَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ،

4 W ho risked their lives for my life. To them not only I but also all the churches among the Gentiles give thanks.

اللَّذينِ خاطَرا بِحَياتِهِما مِنْ أجلِيْ. وَأنا لَستُ وَحدِي الَّذِي يَشكُرُهُما، بَلْ أيضاً كُلُّ الكَنائِسِ فِي الأُمَمِ الأُخرَىْ.

5 a lso to the church in their house. Greet my beloved Epaenetus, who was a firstfruit (first convert) to Christ in Asia.

سَلِّمُوا أيضاً عَلَى أعضاءِ الكَنِيسَةِ الَّذِينَ يَجتَمِعُونَ فِي بَيتِهِما. سَلِّمُوا عَلَى أبَيْنِتُوسَ حَبيبيْ الَّذِي كانَ أوَّلَ المُهتَدِينَ إلَى المَسِيحِ فِي أسِيّا.

6 G reet Mary, who has worked so hard among you.

سَلِّمُوا عَلَى مَريَمَ الَّتِي تَعِبَتْ كَثِيراً مِنْ أجلِكُمْ.

7 R emember me to Andronicus and Junias, my tribal kinsmen and once my fellow prisoners. They are men held in high esteem among the apostles, who also were in Christ before I was.

سَلِّمُوا عَلَى أنْدَرُونِكُوسَ وَيُونِياسَ قَريبَيَّ، وَرَفِيقَيَّ فِي السِّجنِ. وَهُما خادِمانِ بارِزانِ بَينَ الرُّسُلِ، وَقَدْ آمَنا بِالمَسِيحِ قَبلِي.

8 R emember me to Ampliatus, my beloved in the Lord.

سَلِّمُوا عَلَى أمْبِلِياسَ حَبِيبِيْ فِي الرَّبِّ.

9 S alute Urbanus, our fellow worker in Christ, and my dear Stachys.

سَلِّمُوا عَلَى أُورْبانُوسَ شَرِيكِنا فِي خِدمَةِ المَسِيحِ، وَعَلَى إسْتاخِيسَ حَبيبيْ.

10 G reet Apelles, that one tried and approved in Christ (the Messiah). Remember me to those who belong to the household of Aristobulus.

سَلِّمُوا عَلَى أبَلِّسَ الَّذِي بَرهَنَ عَلَى أصالَةِ إيمانِهِ فِي المَسِيحِ. سَلِّمُوا عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ عائِلَةِ أرِسْتُوبُولُوسَ.

11 G reet my tribal kinsman Herodion, and those in the Lord who belong to the household of Narcissus.

سَلِّمُوا عَلَى هِيرُودِيُونَ قَريبيْ. سَلِّمُوا عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ عائِلَةِ نَرْكِسُّوسَ الَّذِينَ يَنتَمُونَ إلَى الرَّبِّ.

12 S alute those workers in the Lord, Tryphaena and Tryphosa. Greet my dear Persis, who has worked so hard in the Lord.

سَلِّمُوا عَلَى تَرِيفَيْنا وَتَرِيفُوسا العامِلَتَينِ بِجِدٍّ لِلرَّبِّ. سَلِّمُوا عَلَى بَرْسِيْسَ المَحْبوبَةِ، الَّتِي تَعِبَتْ كَثِيراً لِلرَّبِّ.

13 R emember me to Rufus, eminent in the Lord, also to his mother a mother to me as well.

سَلِّمُوا عَلَى رُوفُسَ، ذَلِكَ المُؤمِنِ المُتَمَيِّزِ، وَعَلَى أُمِّهِ الَّتِي هِيَ بِمَثابَةِ أُمٍّ لِي أنا أيضاً.

14 G reet Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermes, Patrobas, Hermas, and the brethren who are with them.

سَلِّمُوا عَلَى أسِينْكِرِيتُسَ وَفلِيغُونَ وَهَرْماسَ وَبَتْرُوباسَ وَهَرْمِيسَ وَالإخوَةِ الَّذِينَ مَعَهُمْ.

15 G reet Philologus, Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympas, and all the saints who are with them.

سَلِّمُوا عَلَى فِيلُولُوغُسَ وَجُوليا وَنِيرِيُوسَ وَأُختِهِ، وَأُولُمْباسَ، وعَلَىْ جَمِيعِ المُؤمِنِينَ المُقَدَّسينَ الَّذِينَ مَعَهُمْ.

16 G reet one another with a holy (consecrated) kiss. All the churches of Christ (the Messiah) wish to be remembered to you.

سَلِّمُوا بَعضُكُمْ عَلَى بَعضٍ بِقُبلَةٍ مُقَدَّسَةٍ. تُسَلِّمُ عَلَيكُمْ جَمِيعُ كَنائِسِ المَسِيحِ.

17 I appeal to you, brethren, to be on your guard concerning those who create dissensions and difficulties and cause divisions, in opposition to the doctrine (the teaching) which you have been taught. avoid them.

وَأحُثُّكُمْ أيُّها الإخوَةُ عَلَى أنْ تَكُونُوا حَذِرِيْنَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ يُسَبِّبُونَ الانقِساماتِ وَيَضَعُونَ فِي طَرِيقِ النّاسِ مَعاثِرَ، عَلَى عَكسِ التَّعلِيمِ الَّذِي أخَذتُمُوهُ. فَتَجَنَّبُوا هَؤُلاءِ.

18 F or such persons do not serve our Lord Christ but their own appetites and base desires, and by ingratiating and flattering speech, they beguile the hearts of the unsuspecting and simpleminded.

إنَّهُمْ لا يَخدِمُونَ رَبَّنا يَسُوعَ المَسِيحَ، بَلْ يَخدِمُونَ شَهَواتِهِمْ. وَهُمْ يَخدَعُونَ قُلُوبَ البُسَطاءِ بِكَلامِهِمُ المَعسُولِ وَتَمَلُّقِهِمْ.

19 F or while your loyalty and obedience is known to all, so that I rejoice over you, I would have you well versed and wise as to what is good and innocent and guileless as to what is evil.

لَقَدْ وَصَلَ خَبَرُ طاعَتِكُمْ إلَى الجَمِيعِ. لِهَذا أنا مَسرُورٌ جِدّاً مِنكُمْ. لَكِنِّي أُرِيدُكُمْ أنْ تَكُونُوا حُكَماءَ فِي عَمَلِ الخَيْرِ، وَأبرِياءَ فِي ما يَتَعَلَّقُ بِالشَّرِّ.

20 A nd the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) be with you.

وَاللهُ الَّذِي هُوَ مَصدَرُ كُلِّ سَلامٍ سَيَسحَقُ إبلِيسَ قَرِيباً تَحتَ أقدامِكُمْ. لِتَكُنْ مَعَكُمْ نِعمَةُ رَبِّنا يَسُوعَ المَسِيحِ.

21 T imothy, my fellow worker, wishes to be remembered to you, as do Lucius and Jason and Sosipater, my tribal kinsmen.

يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيكُمْ تِيمُوثاوُسَ شَرِيكِيَ فِي العَمَلِ. كَما يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيكُمْ لُوكِيُوسُ وَياسُونُ، وَسُوسِيبابْرُسُ أقرِبائي.

22 I , Tertius, the writer of this letter, greet you in the Lord.

وَأنا تَرْتِيُوسُ مُدَوِّنُ هَذِهِ الرِّسالَةِ، أُسَلِّمُ عَلَيكُمْ فِي الرَّبِّ.

23 G aius, who is host to me and to the whole church here, greets you. So do Erastus, the city treasurer, and our brother Quartus.

يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيكُمْ غايُسُ مُضِيفِي وَمُضِيفُ الكَنِيسَةِ كُلِّها هُنا. يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيكُمْ أمِينُ صُندُوقِ المَدِينَةِ أراستُسُ، وَأخُونا كَوارْتُسُ.

24 T he grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) be with you all. Amen (so be it).

لِتَكُنْ نِعْمَةُ رَبَّنا يَسوعَ المَسيحِ مَعَكُمْ جَمِيعاً. آمينَ.

25 N ow to Him Who is able to strengthen you in the faith which is in accordance with my Gospel and the preaching of (concerning) Jesus Christ (the Messiah), according to the revelation (the unveiling) of the mystery of the plan of redemption which was kept in silence and secret for long ages,

المَجدُ للهِ القادِرِ أنْ يُقَوِّيَكُمْ فِي الإيمانِ بِحَسَبِ بِشارَتِي الَّتِي أُبَشِّرُ بِها عَنْ يَسُوعَ المَسِيحِ، حَسَبَ إعلانِ اللهِ لِلسِّرِّ الَّذِي ظَلَّ مَخْفيّاً أجيالاً طَوِيلَةً،

26 B ut is now disclosed and through the prophetic Scriptures is made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to obedience to the faith,

ثُمَّ أُعلِنَ لَنا الآنَ بِواسِطَةِ كِتاباتِ الأنبِياءِ، بِحَسَبِ أمرِ اللهِ السَّرمَدِيِّ. وَهَكَذا صارَ السِّرُّ مَعلُوماً، لِكَي تَأْتِيَ جَمِيعُ الشُّعُوبِ إلَى طاعَةِ اللهِ بِالإيمانِ.

27 T o only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ (the Anointed One)! Amen (so be it).

لِيَتَمَجَّدِ الإلَهُ الوَحِيدُ الحَكِيمُ فِي يَسُوعَ المَسِيحِ إلَى الأبَدِ. آمِينَ.
