1 O ut of the depths have I cried to You, O Lord.

مِنْ أعماقِ ضِيقِي استَغَثتُ بِكَ يا اللهُ.

2 L ord, hear my voice; let Your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

يا رَبُّ، اسْمَعْ صَوتِي! أعطِ آذاناً صاغِيَةً لِتَضَرُّعاتِي.

3 I f You, Lord, should keep account of and treat sins, O Lord, who could stand?

إنْ حاسَبْتَنا يا اللهُ عَلَى كُلِّ آثامِنا، فَمَنِ يَصمِدُ أمامَكَ يا رَبُّ؟

4 B ut there is forgiveness with You, that You may be reverently feared and worshiped.

لَكِنَّنا نَعرِفُ أنَّ المَغفِرَةَ هِيَ مِنْ عِندِكَ. لِذَلِكَ نَتَّقِيكَ.

5 I wait for the Lord, I expectantly wait, and in His word do I hope.

أنا فِي انتِظارِ اللهِ. نَفسِي تَنتَظِرُهُ، وَتَنْتَظِرُ كَلامَهُ وَتَضَعُ رَجاءَها فِيهِ.

6 I am looking and waiting for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, I say, more than watchmen for the morning.

كَحارِسٍ يَنتَظِرُ الفَجرَ أنتَظِرُ الرَّبَّ، أنتَظِرُ كَلامَهُ كَحارِسٍ يَنتَظِرُ الفَجرَ.

7 O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is mercy and loving-kindness, and with Him is plenteous redemption.

انتَظِرْ، يا إسرائِيلُ، اللهَ. لأنَّ المَحَبَّةَ هِيَ عِندَ اللهِ وَحدَهُ، هُوَ يُخَلِّصُ مَرَّةً بَعدَ مَرَّةٍ.

8 A nd He will redeem Israel from all their iniquities.

وَسَيُخَلِّصُ إسرائِيلَ مِنْ كُلِّ خَطاياهُ.
