1 T hus says the Lord: Keep justice, do and use righteousness (conformity to the will of God which brings salvation), for My salvation is soon to come and My righteousness (My rightness and justice) to be revealed.

هَذا هُوَ ما يَقُولُهُ اللهُ: «حافِظُوا عَلَى العَدالَةِ، وَاعْمَلُوا الصَّلاحَ. لأنَّ خَلاصِي سَيَأتِيكُمْ قَرِيباً، وَعَدلِي سَيُعلَنُ كَذَلِكَ.

2 B lessed, happy, and fortunate is the man who does this, and the son of man who lays hold of it and binds himself fast to it, who keeps sacred the Sabbath so as not to profane it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.

هَنِيئاً لِلرَّجُلِ الَّذِي يَعمَلُ الصَّلاحَ وَيَتَمَسَّكُ بِهِ. يَحفَظُ السَّبتَ وَلا يُنَجِّسُهُ، وَيَمنَعُ يَدَهُ عَنْ عَمَلِ الشَّرِّ.»

3 L et not the foreigner who has joined himself to the Lord say, The Lord will surely separate me from His people. And let not the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.

لا يَقُلِ الغَرِيبُ الَّذِي يَربِطُ نَفسَهُ باللهِ: «سَيَفصِلُنِي اللهُ عَنْ شَعبِهِ حَتْماً.» وَلا يَقُلِ الخَصِيِّ: «أنا كَالشَّجَرَةِ النّاشِفَةِ.»

4 F or thus says the Lord: To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths and choose the things which please Me and hold firmly My covenant—

لأنَّ هَذا هُوَ ما يَقُولُهُ اللهُ: «الخِصيانُ الَّذِينَ يَحفَظُونَ سُبُوتِي، وَيَختارُونَ ما يَسُرُّنِي، وَيَحفَظُونَ عَهدِي،

5 T o them I will give in My house and within My walls a memorial and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that will not be cut off.

سَأُعطِيهُمْ فِي هَيكَلِي، وَداخِلَ أسوارِي، نَصِيباً وَذِكرَى طَيِّبَةً أفضَلَ مِنَ البَنِينِ وَالبَناتِ. سَأُعطِيهِمُ اسْماً أبَدِيّاً لَنْ يُنسَى.

6 A lso the foreigners who join themselves to the Lord to minister to Him and to love the name of the Lord and to be His servants, everyone who keeps the Sabbath so as not to profane it and who holds fast My covenant —

وَالغُرَباءُ الَّذِينَ يَلتَصِقُونَ باللهِ لِيَخدِمُوهُ وَيُحِبُّونَ اسْمَ اللهِ ، الَّذِينَ يَحفَظُونَ السَّبتَ وَلا يُنَجِّسُونَهُ، وَيَتَمَسَّكُونَ بِعَهدِي،

7 A ll these I will bring to My holy mountain and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples.

سَآتِي بِهِمْ إلَى جَبَلِي المُقَدَّسِ، وَسَأُفَرِّحُهُمْ فِي بَيتِ الصَّلاةِ الَّذِي لِي. وَسَتَكُونُ ذَبائِحُهُمْ مَقبُولَةً عَلَى مَذبَحِي. لأنَّ بَيتَي يُدعَى بَيتَ صَلاةٍ لِجَمِيعِ الشُّعُوبِ.»

8 T hus says the Lord God, Who gathers the outcasts of Israel: I will gather yet others to besides those already gathered.

فَهَذا هُوَ ما يَقُولُهُ الرَّبُّ الإلَهُ الَّذِي يَجمَعُ المَطرُودِينَ مِنَ بَنِي إسْرائيلَ: «سَأجمَعُ آخَرِينَ إلَيْهِمْ، بِالإضافَةِ إلَى الَّذِينَ جَمَعتُهُمْ.» إهمالُ حُرّاسِ إسْرائِيل

9 A ll you beasts of the field, come to devour, all you beasts (hostile nations) in the forest.

يا كُلَّ الحَيواناتِ البَرِّيَّةِ، وَيا كُلَّ حَيواناتِ الغابَةِ، تَعالَي وَكُلِي.

10 w atchmen are blind, they are all without knowledge; they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; dreaming, lying down, they love to slumber.

حُرّاسُ إسْرائِيلَ عُميانٌ. كُلُّهُمْ لا يَعرِفُونَ شَيئاً. كُلُّهُمْ كِلابٌ بُكْمٌ لا تَستَطِيعُ النُّباحَ. يَضطَجِعُونَ وَيَحلُمُونَ، فَكَمْ يُحِبُّونَ النَّومَ!

11 Y es, the dogs are greedy; they never have enough. And such are the shepherds who cannot understand; they have all turned to their own way, each one to his own gain, from every quarter.

وَكَالكِلابِ الشَّرِهَةِ لا يَشبَعُونَ أبَداً. وَكالرُّعاةِ الَّذِينَ لا يَفهَمُونَ. كُلُّهُمْ التَفَتُوا إلَى طُرُقِهِمْ كُلُّ واحِدٍ اهتَمَّ بِرِبحِهِ.

12 C ome, say they, We will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink! And tomorrow shall be as this day, a day great beyond measure.

يَقُولُونَ: «هَيّا نَشرَبُ خَمراً، تَعالَوْا نَشرَبْ حَتَى نَسكَرَ. وَسَيَكُونُ الغَدُ عَظِيماً كَهَذا اليَومِ، بَلْ أعظَمَ بِكَثِيرٍ.»
